Did my first run. $15 oop w/ $15 in cats. I started with the snapple($4) and kraft (1.50) cat though. They come as 3 $5 cats. The last time they had a promo w/ the 3 $5 cats it beeped every time I rolled them for a manager over ride. The savings books were on a big table by the door at my store. I encouraged the kids to grab some. My 3yo was very distraught though when she found out the coupon book was for mommy.

ETA: I forgot to mention if you have the vocal point coupons for rice krispies they are for $1. The albies coupon is for .99 rice krispies (limit 4) and select kelloggs cereal are 1.67 wyb 5. There's some peelies for $1 off kelloggs cereal right now so buy 4 rice krispies plus 6 other kellogs cereal and it would be .99 x 4 = 3.96 + 1.67 x 6 = 10.02 total = 13.98 - $10 in coupons = 3.98 and send in for the $10 kelloggs rebate.

I did my first run today too. My OOP was $16.04 after coupons (I didn't have any prior cats to roll. Bummer.) and I earned $15 in new cats. All but 3 of the coupons that I used were part of the batch of Unilever coupons that are expiring today and so listing what I bought probably won't help anyone here out just yet. I will make sure to list my next run with more current coupons.

:update1: On another note, I noticed that the following non-food items were tagged in my store as part of this promo. They are Unilever products as well and so they might be worth checking out at your stores too. :excited12:

I did two transactions tonight in different stores.

I have my 4 cat from snapple still my opp is 18.76 for :
2 cereals: $4
2 yoplus: $5
9 warmdeligth :$14.94
2 Brownies : $ 4
and 2 green giant(no Q):$ 3.32
Total:$31.27
-$.50*9=4.5 Q
-$4 cereal brownies and yoplus Qs
-$4 cat = $ 18.76
$ Got 3-5 cats.

Use the 3-5 cats on second one:
got 10 brownies mixes : 20
2 cereal :4
2 yoplus :5
1 cake mix no Q:1
30-15-5-1-2= $7
oop 7 cashier need to get overide.

And every transactions gave 1.50/3 Gm coupon.

So I save those for future cereal deal. I guess this time is good price but I am low on cereal coupons so I only did 2 cereal at a time in order to get coupons.

Anyways just look online to see a bunch of recipes on convert those brownies mixes into cookies since I really want cookies pounch but have no coupons.

My HD was like oh that's a lot of sugar shopping!

I said ok you don't get to eat them then lol.

FYI if anyone is doing the rice krispies. I just did it and even though the coupon says limit 4 it will only take $1 off of one so it has to be scanned 4x to get 4 boxes.

I went today to do another tx. It was a mess. I went to the self check out but since it was empty the girl told me she would do it for me. First I realized I needed another cereal for the cereal deal so I ran to get that. Then I realized I needed another knorr for the cat deal so I ran to get that. Then she starts scanning coupons but some aren't scanning and she just keeps going and putting them in the box. I told her and she just wrote down how much needed to be taken off and says she'll take them off at the end. Fine. Then the computer freezes. We go through the assistance needed thing about 7 or 8 times till she finally calls a supervisor. Apparently it needed the over ride for the $5 cats. I was so relieved to see it go to payment and pay but then the cats don't print! I go to customer service where they manager that just saw me go through this whole debacle over the frozen computer and explain I didn't get the $15 in cats. After spending 15 min matching items up with the promo and adding them together we figure out I'm .02 short. They return the stuff and rering it with one more knorr and out prints my cat. I realized after I left that the stuff that was supposed to be 1.67 actually rang up as 1.66 and that's where I was off. I couldn't figure out how I had been off since I went over this scenario 2 or 3 times adding it up and it kept coming out to 30.02 but in the store it came out to 29.98. So long story short watch out for the 1.67 items since they ring up at 1.66.

I got the creamy and extra chunk (blue cap) Peanut butter skippy.
The starbucks deal is that the small single serve icecream are still ringing up $1 and theres a $1/1 starbucks icecream Q exp 9/13 BUT be advised the Q beeps for some reasoon. IDK why but tried it at 2 different stores and it has to be overridden. Its correct Q and they wanted to tell me its for the big size and on the Q it has no size restriction so of course its good but just FYI.
On another note in the 6/28 inserts theres $1 ALL Qs if you dont want to wait on this weeks inserts for the detergent Qs.
3.50x 8 ==> $28
yogurt x1 2.50
TOTAL 30.50 + 2.50 (tax for the detergent) @ 8.75%
-9 in Qs
-15 in Catalina
6.50+ 2.50==> $9 for 8 bottles of ALL detergent
approx 1.xx per bottle (thats incl tax)

I need a good deal on the chex mix (salty) deal.
Heck if I can trade off with ya on the brownies thatd be awesome. Ive still got the bags of the cookie mix when it was 25c after Q per bag.

Thanks for the heads up amazo01. I haven't had that happen yet as I usually intentionally go over by at least 25¢ so that is nice to know in advance.

I noticed in the little albertsons flier that came in today's paper that it shows the pillsbury simply cookie dough as part of the $15 wyb $30 promo.

there are printables for $1.25/1 and $1/1 and you can print 2 of each.

Also,

Am I reading into this correctly...:confused71:

If you buy $30 worth of suave would you get the 3 $5 cats and the $12 unilever cat?

if so, that is just plain crazy. this promo has me so excited. Literally every item that is part of it has a coupon you can match with it. It's great!

Just tried doing this and bought $30 worth of unilever products that were also part of the "buy $30 get $15" and all I got was my 3x $5 cats. Actually the first time I tried to do it, I was only at $28 and neither printed, so it's not the 3x $5 canceling out the unilever one. I can't really find any information on the "buy $30 get $12" unilever one. Anyone have any info? I'm going to call catalina to see what they say but just thought I would report that it doesn't seem that it works at all.

thanks for the heads up. i had a feeling that getting both cats would be too good to be true.

I also just got back from albies. the pillsbury simply cookie dough does not ring up on sale and is not marked as being on sale on the shelf. it rang up at $3.99 each at the store i went to although it is clearly pictured in today's ad as being on sale 2 for $5. my $15 in cats still printed and customer service adjusted the price when i showed them the ad. imo, it isn't worth the hassle.

If you have the Albies coupon book use the Ken's Marinade
.79/1 limit 4 with the 1.00/1 Marinade or buffalo wing sauce
in 8/2 paper for a .21 MM per bottle.

Wondering it we can use the albies booklet fresh express salad blends

Did my second run for the $15 cat today, but they did not print out :(
I got:
1 popsicle
2 Klondikes
1 Breyers
2 Macaroni Grills
2 Wish Bone Dressings
2 Lipton Green Teas
2 Skippy Natural
1 Betty Cake Mix

Total $30.14 ($6.04 OOP after coupons and $15 cat)
I wonder what is causing the cat not to print. I got everything the same as the first trip, which the cats printed fine, except for Skippy, Wish Bone and Cake Mix.
The CS was trying to tell me that the $30 was supposed to be after coupons. WTH.
But, in the end he printed the cats for me, but it was a hassle.

Also did the Kelloggs Pop tarts and Eggo for the rebate in a separate transaction.

I did not find the Kellogg booklets at the store, but overall I got great deals today!
Only wish that it could be a smoother trip.

I'm glad to hear that you got your cats in the end. :BigHand: I did two transactions back to back earlier today as well and the cats didn't print on the 1st transaction, but did on the 2nd. C.S. tried to tell me the same thing as you regarding the use of coupons, but I politely informed them that I had done this promotion 4x prior to today with no problems. In the end they just gave me $15 cash back. I am sad to see the promo end tonight, but I am also happy because I was able to restock a lot of pantry items. Yeah!!! :giggle2:
