Can you make a qualifying purchase out of state?

I think I've seen this asked before but not paid attention to the answer. And now of course I need to know! :hysterical:

I have a NBPN rebate that is good in my state and a dozen others. We went to Washington DC this weekend and DH happened to make a purchase that would qualify.

Perhaps more shockingly, he kept the receipt :BigHand:

So now I need to know... can I send that in, or will it disqualify me because it wasn't made in a participating state?

I can answer for Bud pizza MIR. I bought the pizza in Fl while on vacation and I still got my rebate. I used 2 receipts since the pizza CRT wasn't enough to fulfill requirement. I still got the full rebate.
