My thoughts exactly.
I need powdered and brown sugar so I will be all over this deal. Just traded for some coupons.
Got lots of regular sugar a few weeks back.

I did 4 of these with the powdered sugar but the register would not accept the q. The manager did over-ride it after reading all 40 packs of Kool-aid to make sure they were all "unsweetened". I plan to do 10 more tomorrow.

The register is going to beep on this coupon as it is attached to the kool-aid and the kool-aid is not over $2.

Went to my Hy-Vee this morning (in KS) excited for this deal, and Kool-Aid was NOT on sale. It was 5/1.00.
I still have 4 of these Q's left and hoping i'll see a sale somewhere before they expire.

In the ad this week it is showing 5 cents each for the koolaid! I might have to order some more coupons.

I ordered 20 more coupons...not sure what I'm gonna do with all this Kool-Aid!!! I thought of donating it, but what good would it do anyone without the sugar too?

Was it advertised in the store flyer? It's possible that they just didn't have the sale price marked on the shelf. :shrug7:

I checked the new ad this morning. Kool-Aid sale starts here today.....guess we're just behind the times down here in KS.:wink7:
It has happened before (the Ronzoni Smart Pasta) where I learned of a sale here on HCW, that was not advertised local flyer (print or on-line), but it was on sale when I got to the store. So...I'm more apt to trust what I see posted by you guys!:smile:

Your sale dates must start on Wednesdays. That's the same as mine. Which is good, because that gives us more time to round up coupons. :BigHand:
FYI - all HyVee's have the same national weekly sales flier, but the sales start on different days for different stores-either Sun, Mon, Tue, or Wed.

If you look on HyVee's website, select Faribuilt, MN to see the upcoming ad as early as Sunday at 12am.

justlucy, hope I am wrong (for your sake), but I believe that HyVee is just a midwestern chain. It is so painful when you hear about the great deals available in other parts of the country and can't get them, isn't it!

I did this deal 13 times and got overage for every deal.
Have 7 more coupons to use before Tuesday. Need to see what I need to use with the overage.

I'm new to Hyvee - so no expert by any stretch of the imagination - but my store didn't do overage either. So instead, I bought 2 for .99 each for every coupon I used. So .50 cents for the sugar and the kool aid.
I am going to use the Kool Aid as an arts/krafts project for my son to color with since we don't drink that stuff.
