Zyrtec is a double dip again between the $25 gift card and the Zyrtec Rewards. If it goes on sale this month and it was similar to last time. It would be something like $45 oop and get a $25 gift card and a $10 zyrtec reward. Total cost would be $10, which is a pretty good price if you use that brand.

Today at Rite Aid, they have their August SCR booklet out, and inside there, there are two SCRs that I think everyone should do.
One:
SCR 900-Purchase any 3 of any variety:
Sally Hansen
Maybelline
Clearsil
Veet
got2b
N.Y.C
Love's
Phisoderm
and get a free Glam bag (includes samples) by mail.
I purchased 2 nail polishes for .99 cents and 1 eye shadow for $3.99 (had a $1 q), and in exchange, I get a cute duffel and some samples. :)
Two:
SCR 139
Buy any 1 Wisp Flameless candle and recieve $2.00.
I purchased one on clearance for $2.49, so .49 cents is not bad for a flameless candle, def. worth looking into at your own Rite Aid.

I don't normally shop at Riteaid but I did the stayfree offer a few weeks ago and I received my $25 GC in the mail, now what do I spend it on........LOL
I have some $3 coupons for the glade flameless candle, how does riteaid handle this, can they reduce the coupon or will they refuse it, that is if I can find one on clearance!

I believe they reduce it, or adjust down in some way. I am sure your coupon is still valid. It's worth a try.

OK So I am new to RA:wavehi:, I have been CVSing for a long time. Sorry for such a long post!
My husby only uses Speed stick deoderant, not antiperspirant:hectic1:. It's on sale at CVS for 1.99, and I had 2 $1.50 ips, but .50 each is too much for me and I don't have ECBs to spend (things are super tight around here!) So I happened to see it was on sale at RA $4.74 for 2, - $2 RA q, and they have the .75/2 newspaper q listed, to make it 1.99 for 2. I got excited because I could get 2 for tax only, and figured I could throw in a small filler in case they gave me the . 24 overage. There is also softsoap for .89, and there is a $1 ip that I fount on IHRA.
So I print my ips, 2 of each, and head to the store. I come up to the counter and my son is freaking out because they have the 4.99 cars next to the counter and he wants one- mind you he has 2-3 cars that he left in the car- he has a few of them from christmas and I didn't want to be accused of stealing :rolleyes24:.
The manager is standing at the counter separating bright pink signs or qs or whatever when I got to the cashier. I gave her all my items and then the RA q and then the 4 ips. she takes the 2 softsoap without really checking, and then gets to the speed stick qs. She looks at the qs, then at the circular, and then scans one and says she can't take the other because then RA would be paying me. I explained that I had another item and that RA would not be paying me, that I would still be paying about .50 plus tax, and RA would get the full face value for the q, but if she wanted to adjust it down I would just take off the other item. She gave me a dirty look and took the q to the mgr who shook his head no after she whispered something.
So confused and annoyed, I had her take off the filler and paid 1.02 plus tax. I took the receipt and looked at it for a minute before I asked the mgr why he wouldn't take the 2nd q and adjust it down, b/c he would be paid full value on it. he told me it was a $1.50 per purchase, so I said I know, and each item is a purchase, I had 2 items, so I can use 2 qs. He told me no b/c it was $1.50/2. :hysterical: So I told him that it was not the .75/2 from the newspaper, this is a different q , and handed it to him. he looked at it, and asked me what I paid, so I handed him my receipt. So he went over to a register and started doing something, and gave me back 1.02 and said he was not supposed to take ips because they could be a photocopy and did not scan. So I said the other 3 scanned just fine, that one came from the same printer so it should scan, too. He told me no it didn't and not to use them again. So I said you can print 2 of each coupon from my home computer and used my inkjet printer, and before I could say that no scanner I know of could make that clear of a copy, he said that people do photocopy them, in a tone that made it clear that he did not believe me. He made me feel like I was stealing or committing coupon fraud, which I am very careful not to do. I can get things for free legally and don't need to. Are they all like this? I was planning on calling or writing to corporate- any feedback on which gets a better response?

OK I didn't see this anywhere in here for this month if it's already been answered, whoops :( Anyhoo...
I've never shopped Rite-Aid before so I don't know entirely how their SCR program works.
This month there's an SCR on Huggies, Kotex, some cereals and Ziploc bags for the 5$ on 25$ Kimberly Clark one.
Huggies and Kotex also have a separate SCR...can you cash in on both or only one?

07-27-2009, 07:30:15 PM
Yes, definately...when you enter your receipt...it will put you in for all the rebates you are eligible for.
I'd like to go one step further with the question....I have the free voucher from last months deals.....I am hoping I can use it and the pack of Huggies will count towards this deal. I am assuming it will work like any other manufacturer Q...anyone tried yet?
Also, I am thinking I can buy a mega pack with it next week when they are on sale and have an SCR and just get the limit up to $11.49 for the Q. The size 6 Megas are within the count limit on the coupon and the coupon doesn't say Jumbo. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Folks this is a true YMMV. RA has Biore Pore Strips b1 get another Biore product free. The other/second Biore product is not specifed in the ad nor at the store. i.e. that the second product has to be of equal/esser value. Here is what I did:
(1) Biore Pore strip $7.99
(1) Biore Skin Preservation Dual Fusion Moisturizer w/SPF 30 $14.99 - FREE! - YES FREE
Plus there is a $2.00 SCR on this
I didnt have a M Q on the Pore Strips, they wouldnt take the Q on the Skin Preservation but the manager ran this through for me first to make sure it worked, and it did. (the store manager was high fiving me!) I combined this with a few other items including the $5/$25 - try it at your store will be curious to see if it works! GOOD LUCK

Thanks for posting about the Biore, I just tried it and it worked. I bought 2 Biore Pore Strips and got the Daytime lotion for 9.99 and the overnight lotion $14.99 free plus there were coupons on the boxes for $1 off 2 Biore products and I used 2. There's no tax in OR so I paid $13.98 for all 4 products, I was thrilled! I needed diapers so i got that plus some fillers, used the $5 off $25 and paid with a pharmacy transfer gift card.

Ok so I finally made it in for a price check, regular price at my store was $5.69. I noticed in the preview threads that it will be on sale next week (8/2-8) for 4/$20 but the following week (8/9-15) is showing sale for $3.99 so I think that is the week to do it and hopefully there will be a new q this week in the new p&g insert. :whistle67:

A freebie if you have printable coupons from coupons.com (I don't see them anymore...perhaps the max # have printed):
Bic Triumph pens rebate #71
$2.99 retail x 2 (must buy 2 to get rebate)= $5.98
2 coupons.com printable coupons for $2.00 off any Bic Triumph= $1.98
$2.00 SCR from Rite Aid= -$.02
My store also had a more expensive Triumph for $3.79. I'm not sure what the difference was. I just saw the cheaper one and ran with it! :giggle2:

So I am confused...Here's what happened.
I bought some Neutrogena eyeshadow (40% off this weeK) to qualify for rebate 232. I also picked up the eye makeup remover stuff (40% off) to get 1 of the 2 items for rebate 132. So, my receipt has cleared and it shows:
132 - Did not buy all items (understand, I only bought 1 cleaner)
232 - Did not buy all items (huh????)
332 - Did not buy all items (double huh???)
So my thinking was I would qualify for 232 ($2) and have the did not buy all items for 132 sice I only bought 1 cleaner. I am so confused here. Do I need to buy another cleaner AND a hair product? Why is it the 232 rebate didnt go through?
*132 - Buy 2 neutrogena cleaners get $3
*232 - Buy 1 Neutorgena cosemetic get $2 and qualify for 132
*332 - Buy 1 Neutorgena cosemetic and Hair product get $7 and qualify for 132
*This information is per what shows up on riteaid's scr stuff for me after I logged in and checked my receipt stuff.

I also had the same issue and called customer service. This is so deceiving in the wording that I may take back the item. To get *232 you have to buy and qualify for the items in *132. This means you have to buy 2 neurtogena cleaners for 232. Sneaky huh!!!:hectic1: I thought it meant that you would get 232 and then qualify for 132 bit it is the other way around. :shrug7:

See that is what I was thinking too. It is so not clear (at least not to me). I may stop by and see if they have another eye makeup remover (at 40% off it was about $4). Not sure though. I love the eyeshadow I got and won't return it either way, but phooey!

Has anyone tried buying the Neutrogena soaps and have them qualify for rebate #132? I think they're about $3.19 in my store, but I was just wondering if they'd count for skin care. There were no SCR tags near them, so I wasn't sure. Thanks.

Hi there. I haven't done much Rite Aid recently so I have some questions about this weeks deals. :shrug7:
First, for something like the Listerine Smart Rinse/Agent Cool that's on sale...it actually falls under both rebates Summer Fun Tote AND Johnson & Johnson so can you apply for both?? Does this happen sometimes with other items also??
Second, when the rebate is for say, buy this much get this much or this item back...do they use the price before or after manf. coupons? My example is this weeks Listerine again. I want to get (4) bottles of the kid stuff and they are $3.99 ea. and I was going to use (2) BOGO MQ's (8/2 SS). So technically I will only pay for 2 bottles. Will this qualify for the Summer Fun Tote rebate? Will all 4 bottles qualify for the J&J rebate??
Third, the scenario above, if I use (2) BOGO coupons, can you use (2) additional coupons for cents off the 1st 2 bottles?? Does that made sense?? Or is that dbl dipping?
And finally, last but certainly not least....The ZANTAC deal, it's $4.99, use the $3 coupon, and send in the SCR for $4.99 right? Ok, I also found on Zantac's website an additional MIR for $5 when you buy any Zantac 8ct or larger between dates. I will try to post here, sorry if it's not right.
http://www.zantacotc.com/resources/pdf/Zantac-Redemption-Form.pdf
Ok, so in case nobody knew about this extra $5, that's my "payment" for all the help I need...:giggle2: If this extra MIR is wrong, please someone tell me asap before I get too excited...:BigHand:

Coupons are NOT counted against SCR's, 4 bottles would qualify toward if they are qualifying products. I see the SCR lists listerine but it does not specifically say smart rinse so you may want to call the SCR number to double check before purchasing OR if someone has already purchased some.....maybe they can chime in. They should count toward the tote: SCR 501 summer fun rebate book because that says ANY oral care products and the exclusions did not list the kids stuff.
Third, the scenario above, if I use (2) BOGO coupons, can you use (2) additional coupons for cents off the 1st 2 bottles?? Does that made sense?? Or is that dbl dipping?
Technically yes, even the RA policy that is posted in the RA states you should be able to do that.........HOWEVER do NOT be surprised if you run into a manager/cashier that will not oblige that request. So it is YMMV.

Ok, so in case nobody knew about this extra $5, that's my "payment" for all the help I need...:giggle2: If this extra MIR is wrong, please someone tell me asap before I get too excited...:BigHand:
Thank you in advance to anyone who helps lil ol' me...:wavehi:
I bought 2 bottles of listerine smart rinse/agent cool ($3.99 each) on Tues, used bogo coupon and each bottle had a hang tag $1/1, cashier let me use both so cost was $1.99. Both counted toward SCR 97 J&J and SCR 501 oral care. They were valued at $7.98 total.
Hope that helps.

so will this Listerine "smart rinse" count for the #97 SCR, because I saw the ads mention that it has to be Listerine "Antiseptic". I just got so confused.

I found some today for 70 cents but I didn't have a coupon. Still $2.10 isn't bad.

It's #900. It's not for money back. It's for a tote with samples inside.

Has anyone else done Rebate # 97 purchasing Band Aids? This is the Johnson and Johnson rebate where you buy $50 and get $25 back.
I purchased $50.00 in bandaids the week of 08/02/09 when they were on sale for $2.50 a box. I broke it up in 2 transactions to use 2 of the $5 off $25s. I've entered both receipts online and did not receive credit for any of these. I had another rebate item on one of the receipts so I know the receipt registered. The other receipt is outstanding now for 9 days.
I emailed CS and they told me to fax them copies of my receipts with the items cirrcled, blah, blah..... Just curious if anyone else has purchased bandaids and they are registering for you when entered online.

I bought 1 of the $14.99 Huggies Mega diapers and now need only $10.01 to finish the KC/GM deal. Anyone have any suggestions? I need toilet paper, but I am guessing it will be too ridiculous to buy...anyone know what the Cottonelle 20 packs are priced at? We can't do Scott. or another scenario over $10.01 that would be low OOP.
I can't not complete it because it is basically half off whatever I buy. I was hoping I would receive my other diaper voucher from my Mom's card in time, but so far no luck...

SCR #132 matches up with some printable Rite Aid coupons for Clean & Clear. I can't remember the source (Rite Aid website, perhaps?), but I printed them out recently.
I bought two bottles of Clean & Clear blackhead scrub for $5.79 each.
Used a $3 RA coupon on each item.
Will get $3 back from the SCR.
Making my final cost $1.29 ea. :BigHand:
