So I have to ask. I was reading up on the Natrol Probiotic. It looks like its a pill you take to get some probiotics into your system and compares itself to live cultures in yogurt. Anyone else know anything about this? Would it help with lactose porblems?

I think this is more for people with IBS and such. I don't think it will help at all with lactose problems. A lactose intolerance involves a low level of an enzyme in your body to properly digest the lactose and this probiotic will not put that enzyme back in your body. This is coming from someone who has a lactose intolerance.

Hi everyone question on the $5/$25. I used it a couple days ago and the cashier/manager said it was used AFTER all manufacturer coupons were scanned which messed up my initial order and i ended up having to add stuff quickly that i hadn't planned on. I see the scenarios that you have posted don't reflect what I was told and I"m curious which is correct?

Thanks

I have yet to see any coupons that specify that requirement. With that said............right now these coupons are YMMV. My stores won't even accept them, some people have no problem........YET
While other people are being told it is after coupons. I wish I could give you more of a direct answer but I can't.

I have found this to be true. I even have had the same exact cashier tell me two different things!

08-01-2009, 12:05:20 AM
My first transaction the cashier never blinked her eye when I handed that coupon first then my others next, but in the second transaction it was a whole other story and even though they accepted it they didn't think that it should be before coupons.

Carrie from customer service said, what I totally didn't want to hear and that was it is to be used after coupons. I shared with her that the coupon doesn't state that, they get reimbursed for the manufacturer coupons and that it will cause a loss in customer and already has. She also said, all stores should be following the corporate policy and it is on their portal so she doesn't understand the differences between stores.

I believe I will stick with CVS since I've couponed for several months now and it will also simplify life which is sometimes a good trade off at least until there are less variables among the other drugstores. It sure is hard though not to peek in and then want to do the deals if they are quite good.

So there are a total of 9 items free this week, after Q and SCR if my math is right.

Remember to get rainchecks if they are out of anything. The rebate program DOES accept rainchecks receipts!! See the tutorial on the Riteaid Rebates Raincheck thread I wrote a while ago. It is simple, just fax or mail it in. I predict they will be out of everything, and I LOVEEEEEE asking for 9 rainchecks to spite them. It is fun, so do it. Maybe they will order better next time if we all did it.

I did this deal today (among others already mentioned in this thread), someone mentioned it in one of the Back To School threads, I didn't see it here yet:

Bic Cristal Pens, 10 pk
Sale: 2 for 1.00 (0.50 each)
Use: $1/2 Bic stationery products (printable)
Total: 1.00-1.00= FREE

YMMV since I hear some stores won't take printables.

The tape isn't actually duct tape. It's Duck brand clear tape on a roll with some kind of plastic thingy-- it's about 1 and 1/2 or 2 inches wide. Says EZ tape or something like that.

Are you positive your HSA requires an original? Mine allows submissions through email, so I only need a scan. They wouldn't be able to tell if it was the original or a copy. If they definitely need the original, you may have to pick one or the other. It's already a minimum $6 moneymaker, after all.
Where is the $5 coupon coming from on the Kelloggs cereal deal?

It's a Rite Aid SCR, with a $15 purchase. Details are on the RA website.

It's a tearpad. I think some have been found at Target, maybe other places.

OMG - you shop at my Rite Aid. which I rarely go to cause things are always OOS. But they let you use the $5/25 before mfg cpns??? They refused once to let me use it even though it was $40 pre mfg cpns and just $0.03 short after MFG cpns - I had only regular priced items too. They forced me to buy something else. No biggie but still... how inconsistent.

There was no Natrol left when I went and there were no light bulbs either (it was afternoon but still raining and hard!). I don't think the Wart Remover was there in the store at all. I haven't seen it in a long time. Also - I haven't even seen them restock a FAR item in the middle of the week ever, esp the tape. Have you?

just a clarity point. The RA ad in socal for Kelloggs Cereals @ $1.99 only applies on froot loops, corn flakes, frosted flakes, apple jacks, rice krispies, or corn pops. It doesnt apply to Special K, All Bran, etc. If you only have one of the "Kelloggs Fuel for School" inserts there are not enough Q s in just one insert to make the (PMFAN) deal work with a net/net zero. You must have multiple inserts, as the Q s in that insert are for specific items. :( I only have one - anyone know of any KELLOGG'S printables for $1.00 off? cant seem to find any)

Does anyone know the price of the reach toothbrushes this week? I have a buy 1 get 1 free coupon plus I have the $2 off of 1 coupons. They are running the buy 1 get 1 free deal also. How would that work with my buy1get 1 coupon or would I be better off using the $2.00 off coupons and would they let me use 2 per deal?

Thanks.

I first went to the RiteAid near the 46th Street stop on the R/V... Sunday morning, the cashier at first didn't want to accept the 5/25 coupon, she called a security guard :hysterical::hysterical:, I just told her, it's just one coupon per item, after a few minutes she accepted all my coupons and even two IPs! :BigHand:
Then I went to the RiteAid on Steinway, found most of the items on the second receipt at that one... very nice and clean, unlike the messy 63rd Drive Rego Park Rite Aid (that's my usual store). I always try to go early sunday morning, after that the place is cleaned out of all SCRs... I've had some luck with the refill trucks on Thursday or Friday...

I'm gonna look one more time for the Wart thingy, but not that concerned about it...:wink7:

For Rebate #97

Aveeno shampoo, conditioner or treatments $4.99

#1 transaction
6 x 4.99 = 29.97
-5/25 RA q
-12 2/1 MQs
OOP 12.97 plus tax

#2 transaction
5 x 4.99 = 24.95
filler of 5 cents or more to use the 5/25 RA Q
-5/25 RA q
-10 2/1 MQs

OOP 9.95 plus tax and filler

Total OOP 22.92 and qualify for the 25.00 SCR

For me it is mm for a few cents since I bought 20 Qs for 1.98 on ebay. But I love this stuff

I did this the other day and it didn't qualify. I checked the booklet to see if I overlooked limitations. It just says "AVEENO". But when I check the SCR website, it reads "AVEENO® Allergy Products". So I guess I will call to see. My view is that the booklet should be honored as that is what I used as my basis for purchase but has this come up before with anyone? Do I have recourse or am I about to return $50 in Aveeno shampoo?

I just got off the phone with the SCR folks. They said that it is only for allergy products. I told them it does not indicate that on the booklet anywhere. They said well, it seems obvious it's a rebate for Allergy Products only to which I replied that if it was so obvious, why didn't they specify that anywhere on the list of qualifying products/product lines. Essentially, I got nowhere with them so I guess I will return 11 bottles of Aveeno and make a profit of $32 (since I used a $2 MQ on each bottle purchased and two $5/$25 RA Coupons)....a better deal than the SCR anyway.

This week the Bic Cristal pens are on sale 2/$1. If you print the Bic coupon from the database for $1 off any 2 Bic products you can get two packs for free. I have already printed the max allowed, so I'm not sure if the coupon is still available.

I purchased the Aveeno shampoo/conditioner for rebate 97 also and am a bit upset about this. The ad doesn't state actual products, just brand names. Even after looking at the pictures, I have a hard time understanding how Smart Rinse deals with allergies, so why does that qualify?

I will be returning my bottles of shampoo/conditioner because I have no need for it at that price. Will they give me a hard time of it because I used the $2.00 coupons?

The Rite Aid’s in my area have Satin Care Shaving cream on sale for 87 cents and a gift pack Embrace Razor (it includes a razor, extra cartridge, sample shaving cream, sample olay lotion and a travel cover for the razor) for the same price as just the razor. Combine that with the Free shaving cream with purchase of an Embrace Razor and the $2 coupon with the $5 rabate and it's all free (I just have to pay tax in my state).

Yes they can. But 99% of the dipsy doodles working there don't know how. A manager can go to the back office, call up the transaction # and print a receipt.

Does Rite Aid print duplicate receipt?

I need the original receipt for my HSA account and the Zantac MIR also need original receipt. What should I do?

In theory, they shouldn't since they are getting the $ for the coupons from the manufacturer anyway but in cases like this (and what I did today) was just bring back the shampoo with no receipt. The manager asked if I had a receipt and I said no...i forgot it...just give me a merchandise credit which he did. I also explained why I was returning the product...showed him the SCR booklet and told him what the SCR folks said. So I got $4.99 credit for each bottle plus tax. So like I said, I made $32 (11 $2 off coupons and two $5/$25 coupon) which is better than the SCR.

They gave me a hard time. I brought back an eyedrop, which I used as a filler to get #97 (today I bought more stuff, so I dont need it). One associate checked my receipt and said he didnt know which coupon I used on it and how much should be deducted and call his manager. The lady is really tough. She said since i used 5 off 25 coupon, which like taking money from them, and it will be less than 25 if I return this 6.49bucks eyedrop, so she will deduct 5 bucks.

Johnfdeluca, I will bring back eyedrop with aveeno shampoo/conditioner, which I wanted to keep but now i change my mind, to another store, without receipt and do what you did. Wish me luck!
