My GE has Solo Products on sale for 2/$4. I used the 0.75 off coupon here -

Of course it was doubled and I only paid 0.50 for my plastic cups. I was surprised and delighted however when the Catalina machine spit out a 0.50 coupon off your next order making the cups basically free. I am going back tomorrow with more coupons and hopefully going to get more free cups!!! :BigHand:

you will get multiple .50 cats (buy 5, get 5 .50 cats) but, you will only be allowed to use one .50 cat to pay per order.

I bought (2) 20 packs of Solo Squareds cups last night and no cats printed. :sad: The cat machine was working. It is still a great deal so I am not worried about calling for (2) 50¢ cats. It may have been a glitch in the system. I just wanted to post in case anyone else has problems.

Weird - I bought them last night and no problem.

But, I did buy 3 16 oz regular creamers and it didn't print my $1 cat. I'm going to call them Saturday to see if the regular flavor is included (the pdf says "select varieties) but, if I recall correctly, the pic that was on the GE page (that disappeared) had pics of regular creamer in both the 16 oz and 32 oz.

Yeah, I don't typically order that many either. I think you and I shop at the same store....and I am definitely leary of using 40-50 of the same coupons. I think the most I've done at a time is 10.

I do hope the Solo is on EPR next week as I have a few more IPs that I want to use, but I don't want to make a special trip to the store tonight to find out. If anyone is there early tomorrow and can check please let us know!

wow .. i wish we had that deal in MA (maybe we'll see it one of these days).. but wanted to tell you that I have seen $.50 peelies (yellow) on many of the solo packages here in MA .. I have seen them on cups and various plates.

Oh we do? I had no idea. I know one other poster on this forum that does, but did not realize there was you, too. :) I sometimes go even farther north, but often their great deals are gone too eventhough there are several GEs in the area. :( If only they were closer and I could go a few times a week.

I was actually shocked that there were 5 on the shelf yesterday afternoon because there was only 1 last week. I think I have about 10qs left.

Sidenote: Boy was it busy at GE! I thought maybe I'd beat the crowd that shopped after work, but there was a quite a crowd around 3. I'm used to shopping around 9 pm, but stock is often depleted and being stocked, maybe I should try shopping at sunrise. lol

Remember the discussion in the weekly thread about using multiple cats from the solo deal? What was the outcome? I bought 2 solos and tried to use both of them on the next order and the cashier just said 'this one won't work' and handed it back to me. I remember a couple joking about who it was (I thought it was for the solo deal) but wasn't sure if I should be able to or not. PLMK. Thanks!

Someone already confirmed that the 2nd cat beeps (I believe pittsburgh24). The $3 cats from the Tabasco deal did not beep, but those have since expired.

But just b/c it beeps doesn't mean I can't use it, right? Lot's of Qs beep and just require cashier intervention?? I guess the answer is 1 cat per order :-(

I have sometimes had luck going to CS and saying - I have xx of these .50 cats - can I use them in one order or do I need to get XX orders - they usually will tell me to have the cashier force them. There is also a cashier who works in the morning and says she can do as many as I want - it's easier than doing more than one order.

The cashier(not my favorite cashier) at my store told me that they have to have CS come over to get more than one of those .50 cats to go thru. But she did also tell me if they get close to expiring to use them all at once and to tell the cashier I am at to have CS come with the key.

My favorite cashier will find a way to make them go thru with CS coming over. or She will take all of mine at once and have the CS girl stand there and push them all thru.

I just printed 4 more coupons from my mom's house. So Ithink I am back up to 10 coupons.

Thanks for the suggestion. I wasn't sure if I should try to get them pushed through or not. The girl who did it was one that I didn't think would give me problems (but at the same point, she stopped my Qs from doubling on a raincheck deal that was to give me free lemonade - I told her to void it all off....I only wanted it if it was free).

This may be dead now. I'm not really sure. There was a new cashier and then some of my coupons needed "the key" then there was the Van De Kamp coupon challenge that was totally after the cashier tried to bag two of the boxes before she scanned those and therefore I plum forgot about the cats until after I left the store.

So after a quick card scan at CVS, I go back to GE and they check the register and with another cashier which said nothing came out. Sooo since I have no dates I tell my favorite csp that I will just call the Catalina company to make sure. I just called and their customer service just left 12 minutes ago. I can call tomorrow and find out for sure if no one else has tried before now and then.

If I was thinking on my toes, I would have grabbed a pack and had her scan and to check that way, but alas I wasn't on my toes and the family was in the van. lol

If they restock, since I took the last 5 today, I will try again since I am going to try and leave early before the CAT company is available. I told myself today, big picture here, that if it's over and I spent $.50/pack that is still a good deal remembering when I paid at least $1 at the Dollar Tree and those weren't squared which I like very much.
