I was watching TV tonight and saw an Electrasol/Finish commercial where they said look for a high value coupon this Sunday and showed the picture of a 2.50 coupon!:BigHand: They said "in certain markets." Here's hoping!

The commercial says to try it for up to half off in select markets and the sample insert shows a coupon for $2.50 off, but at the bottom it says

$4.00 max. Available in select 7/12/09 papers only. Coupon expires 8/09/09. Good only on finish/electrasol quantum, powerball tabs, and gelpacs.

I wonder if this means some papers will get a $4 coupon ???

I checked the price at my Walmart today and the box of 20 tabs was I believe 3.58. The reg. and the orange scent. Hope this helps!

for the people asking about the electrasol...if you dont need more of it, but know someone else with a dishwasher, buy it and barter with them for something you do need! and if they dont have anything like that, tell them "ill give you x boxes of electrasol, if you buy me bread/milk/produce/meat/whatever the next time you go shopping!" of course make it worth thier while especially since its almost free with the coupon, but you can both get what you need and everyones happy :)

And if that doesn't work for you, donate it to a food bank. Cleaning Supplies are in short supply at Food Banks and is one of the most expensive thing for people in need to buy. (Can't use food stamps for cleaning items).

Whenever I have a hard pot or pan to clean, and the food is burnt on, or just really really stubborn... (this happens alot unfortunately, LOL)

I fill the pot in the sink with really hot water, and drop in an electrasol tab, and I go to bed! In the morning, the kitchen smells really nice, and the messy pot is really easy to clean! No scrubbing required!

So I keep those extra boxes for times like this! You can even clean stuff outside with it, like soak old dirty plant pots in a bin with an electrasol tab. Or crush one up and sprinkle it on your oil spot in the driveway, and rub a little water into it. Let it set for a while, and then rinse with the hose.

I'm trying to build as many years supply of these as possible. I live in WA and next summer they are going to make it illegal to sell dish detergents with phosphates. The problem: dish detergents without phosphates just don't work and leave a yucky film on your dishes.

It honestly might be a good idea to check and see if any such laws are coming up in your area. At least here, it won't be illegal to buy it- only sell it. I want as much stockpile as possible so I don't have to mail order it in for a long time.

They did a trial run in some areas. There was a very funny article a few months ago about folks in Spokane sneaking into Idaho to buy their electrasol... I can just picture it. A hoard of coupon ladies. Dressed all in black. With black binders... tiptoeing across the state line into Idaho to sneak back their dish detergent...

In the Phoenix Area, the SS has $4 off Electrasol...but it has a size qualifier on it. It says: "any 1 Finish/Electrasol 20 count Quantum or 32 count Powerball Tabs or 32 count Gelpacs"
