Just received my Giant/Super G weekly circular in the Wednesday (07/01/09) Washington Post edition. The Giant/Super G ad was in the Food Section of the Washington Post.
For those of you in the N VA areas, check The Times newspapers on Thursday for "extra" Giant/Super G circulars for the $1 Doubler Coupons. The Times newspapers are in Prince William, Loudoun, Fauquier, and Fairfax counties. Also, you can pick-up the ads at your local Giant/Super G stores for "extra savings".
Apparently, Giant/Super G stores are featuring $1 Doubler Coupons again. The $1 Doubler Coupons are on the ad as a "tear strip--green color". Easy to miss if you don't see it at first.
Hint--use the Giant/Super G store $1 Doubler Coupons at HT for $/$$ Competitor coupons--:wink7:
Have a good day--

Why is it better to use these at HT? I am new to NoVA, and haven't done much shopping yet to know the nuances of the stores around here.

Harris Teeter I believe just has better sales generally than Giant. I myself am not too big of a fan of Giant except for the fact that I can redeem my Walgreen's Register Rewards there as a "competitor coupon". I've got $63 in RR's I've gotta spend today so I'm off to Giant to scrape up whatever deals I can find!

You can get the Eggo's for free if you have any of the $1/1 q's floating around.

Tried to use the Giant doubles at HT, and I was shot down. Said they only take $$ off competitor coupons.

Folks in NoVA using AAA recycling services may register at recyclebank.com if you are using the recycle bin with electronic device and accumulate points weekly. Then you can redeem the points into coupons, such as, $4/$20 CVS (one per month), $5/$20 Rite Aid (one per month), $5/$25 Shoppers food warehouse (one per month), $10/$50 Harris Teeter (one per month) and even free kashi granola and other free grocery.
I did a little bit search and they have partners in other states too. Here's the list,
