I can't quite make out the text under the Poise in the ad where it says 2/$11 - $3 SCR. Does it specify a size? That SCR in the monthly book is for Poise 20 - 30 ct, I was wondering if the weekly ad also included the 30 ct for the sale price.

Schick Quattro are $5.99, they will count towards KC $25 guft card. Can someone confirm?
Here is the scenario
Buy 5 Schick Quattro are $5.99 (or buy 4 and some KC filler for low price so the total is at least $25 )
Total $29.95
1 $5/$25 RA = $5
5 $4/1 Schick Quattro = $20
Total out of pocket = $4.95
Repeat it one more time and for less than $10 you can get $25 GC.
Tax is extra, Can someone confirm the scenario?

Thanks. I use the blurr feature of my screenshot tool all the time at work. I support revenue reports for work....and so for our user guides and online help, we need to be sure we don't show any real revenue figures. It comes in handy outside of work too!

When I was at Rite Aid this morning, I noticed there were coupons taped to different items that were on sale. I talked to one of the associates and she told me that her manager decided to tape the coupons that come out in the Sunday papers to items that they had on sale in their store. She said she has noticed more people are using coupons since the manager decided to do this. Go Rite aid!!!

I believe only the larger count of Huggies works. Also, I believe that the $1/1 bath and body product coupon has been changed. I tried to use one last week and it beeped and they wouldn't take it...

WOAH!! I think I found something!!
L'Oreal has two rebates that seem to be a double-dip. Follow with me:
#156 Purchase $13 worth of items, get $5 back
AND
#157 Purchase Pro Manicure Nail Polish $2.99 get $2 back...LIMIT FOUR!!
Do you think this would work?
Buy 5 @ $2.99
Submit for 4 $2 Rebates
Submit for $5 Rebate
Bottom line: $1.95 for all 5?
Of course, for your 5th item you could try and hunt for something else to get you closer to the $13 and if you had coupons even better (but I couldn't find any).
I'm so trying this on Sunday!!

I don't see why not. Also note that you will be 14.95 towards a $5/$25, so maybe try this:
Buy 5 nail polish @ $2.99 = 14.95
Buy 1 sambucol @ $7.99
Buy 1 citreshine @ $3.99
=$26.93
-$5/$25
=$21.93
Get 4 $2 nail polish rebates
get $5 loreal rebate
get $7 sambucol rebate
get $3 citreshine rebate
= $23 in rebates for a net profit. Of course if you have coupons for any of these your profit will increase, and there are many combos of the .99 after scr items that will work just as well if you don't want sambucol or citreshine. :BigHand:

Our Rite-Aid told me last week that they received a letter from corporate headquarters telling them we can only use one like coupon per person so we could not do this one as we could not use the 5 razor coupons at once. Is anyone else having this trouble with their stores or is my store just telling me this cause they don't want to be bothered with my coupons? They said it was because if they get over 50 like coupons the companies won't reimburse them for the coupons. It saddens me because I live in a small area and have very few shopping choices without traveling an hour each way.

Interesting. I was told the same exact story except my limit is 2 like coupons. I was told they aren't getting reimbursed either. My store use to be the absolute best........but ya, using coupons at rite aid anymore is a PITA. I'm actually relieved that your story matches what I was told. Right now things are SO SO SO funky with rite aid. This is going to be totally YMMV. I got a letter from customer service from Carrie and we had quite a long conversation via email. One of my questions was if I were to buy 20 dawn dishsoaps would I be able to use 20 coupons. The answer was that the store has the limit what is sold BUT if they allow me to purchase 20 dawn dishsoaps then I should be able to use one coupon on each product. However even when I showed the store manager the letter, he said he is doing what he is told and has chose to ignore the written letter. And forget trying to contact anyone outside the general customer service contact phone number. I have written and called so many times I have lost track and I have YET to hear from 1) Our district manager who seems to be MIA 2) The regional VP 3) Loss prevention
My letters and phone calls have never even been acknowledged thus far. Heck, my store manager doesn't even know who is in charge anymore. Unfortunately, I think we are going to hear more stories like this until Rite Aid gets bought out by someone or completely goes under altogether.

Not being a RA regular, I found it confusing that Schick would count towards a KC gift card, but from going on the site, I see that it isn't just a KC gift card, it also has Bayer and Schick items. Got it.

The only Legatrin that they had didn't say Advanced Formula so I hope it will still count for the rebate. Also, the Compound W rebates are a little messed up. I bought 2 of the "One Step Invisible Strips - 14 Medicated Pads" so I don't know which of the 2 Compound W rebate offers these will be applied to.

One of the other cashiers told me as long as I only used a couple they wouldn't say anything to me. Not sure how widespread this is but I am in Kentucky so it evidently is covering more than one area. They have been getting worse and worse lately. One day they told me I couldn't use a coupon because the item would be free and I couldn't do that. :shrug7:Kinda the reason I was buying it. Oh well we shall just move on to another store until they get this straightened out or go broke from loss of business.

Actually I just got back from my Rite Aid run for the day. The mail-in coupon for the Quantum ointment says it's not good on sale items but the Rite Aid receipt lists the item as "sale" so it may not work. Just wanted to give everyone a FYI! :wavehi:

Interesting. I was told the same exact story except my limit is 2 like coupons. I was told they aren't getting reimbursed either. Same thing happened to me with 2 different asst. managers at my formerly coupon friendly RA. They used the "coupon says one per purchase" argument, and would not listen to reason. These were both employees I'd never seen before.
It feels like my RA has been taken over by aliens. :borg:

Found a few rebates that are this week only and I didn't see them in the ad so don't have prices:
Kerasal SCR #68 $3 limit 1 (IPs recently on coupons.com)
Sure for men SCR #143 $1.50 limit 1 (might be a TMF peelie on these) $1.25/1 06-28-09 SS and link in DB to a $1/1 printable
Master Lock padlock SCR #170 for 50c wyb 2 limit 1.

Also, Pert Plus and Pert Plus For Men are both $1.50 rebates this month. There are $1.00 off Pert Plus insert coupons out there and $1.50 ones for Pert Plus For Men. All the bottles at my store had Try Me Free stickers on them with a mail in rebate. I sent one in and it was super easy to do. Not a lot of cost OOP, SCR rebate and then what you do pay OOP is refunded to you anyway from Pert Plus! The shelf price at my store on these was $3.99.

I'm 99% sure you will still get the SCR for the L'oreal nail polish that is on clearance
Since you don't need to cut off UPCs or mail in the receipt for SCRs you can just wait to see if you get the rebate. If not, then return it. That is one reason the SCR is better than mail in rebates.

My store wouldn't let me use the $5/25 unless my purchase was $25 or over subtracting all the coupons first. So turns out - It was $24.97... SHEESH. for $0.03 lousy cents. But it was really my fault cause I needed the huggies diapers since I ran out the size DD needs so I didn't really preplan. I ended up buying a box of Puffs. Even crazier on my part was that I have been keeping this Citre Shine cpn in my wallet for at least 4 weeks since it came out and today I needed it and could not find it... otherwise, I would have been way over the $25 mark after mfg cpns. SOOO annoyed at myself cause they totally treated me like I was trying to scam them, and even forced me to go to another cashier. I think other people already tried this with them and this young lady really liked the control it was giving her. I don't even shop at Rite Aid all that much. Don't know why those 2 cashiers had such a grudge over me. LOL They even made comments off the side about how customers can get mad all they want... I didn't get mad, I just said I'd rather get something else instead of a candy bar. I know that $5/25 can be very YMMV. But it is a little annoying that stores are soo hostile towards customers nowadays. And after I got the Puff, she didn't even scan my 5/25... good thing I caught it, and then she said, "opps" but at least she said sorry.

I hate to hear stuff like this because my 2 neighborhood stores are coupon friendly. My local manager even told me that they scan the $5 off $25 first after ringing all the merch up because coupons are a form of payment, like cash. She gets it, you know?? Some of the other stores in the city are not coupon friendly, but at my two neighborhood ones, any legit coupon is a-ok. Sorry you had that happen.

Did anyone have higher prices on the FARs? Mine were nor .99cents after rebate. They were all regular price(sambucal, stop-pain,lysine)
Maybe you are in a similiar area as I am because our ads are always different - usually missing most of the free or really good deals. I think the only .99 after rebate listed in my ad was the Edge/Skintimate deal. I love seeing the ad scans early but hate being disappointed when I miss out on the deals! I hope this won't be the same way for all the FAR items the first week of August --- here's hoping anyway!

Our Rite-Aid told me last week that they received a letter from corporate headquarters telling them we can only use one like coupon per person ... :sad:What a bummer. I used 2 like IP q's today for sunscreen without any problem. I would not have been happy if they told me I could only use 1.
Had a problem with the Nail polish bought 4 of the same from the paper and they were all clearanced at 1.24 not 2.99 ...you can take back clearance right??? Anyone else have them ring up this way?
Mine rung up the same way. They were marked $2.99 on the shelf, but rang up $1.24. My receipt just says "on sale", not "clearance", so I'm hoping I'll still ge the rebate. If not, I'll just return them ~ you can return clearance items.
I'm 99% sure you will still get the SCR for the L'oreal nail polish that is on clearance
My ad states that trial size, pre-priced, & clearance stickered items are excluded. Since my receipt says sale price, not clearance, I'm thinking that they should work for the rebate.

All of the L'oreal nail polish was on clearance at my store. Since we're all finding the same thing, I can't believe they'd offer a rebate on something that no one could be eligible for (if it does exclude sale/clearance items). Let's hope that's not the case!

Rite Aid is a total and complete mess. I can't imagine that they will be staying in business -- they don't have a solid business model and no one knows which way is up. I feel like taking a ride to their corporate offices and doing a survey to see if they know who is in charge! One of our stores a few miles away just closed. This seems to be happening all over.

Every time we go into Rite Aid we say the same thing-- now I remember why I hate this store. Every time it's a different problem. Today my husband and I shopped there, and each bought over $25 so we could each use a $5/$25 coupon. We each had two L'Oreal nail polishes so we wouldn't have to have a problem using more than two internet printables. Unfortunately, the checker read the print that said 'one coupon per purchase' and refused to let us use two. Of course, we had the conversation about the difference between a purchase and a transaction, but she wouldn't budge. There was a long line behind us, and she was trying to be nice, so I didn't argue any further. In the end, the polish turned out to be $1.24 anyway, so it's okay, but the trip was frustrating. I will probably still go on occasion for the deals, but I do hate Rite Aid.

Yes, you got it! The coupon is for the titanium and that is what is on sale too!
My stores only had half of the razors in the aisle with yellow sale tags. They had the gillette's stickered not the schicks at both of my area stores:rolleyes24:.
Anyway both Mens Quattro titaniums with battery and without is on sale for and rang up 5.99:)

I went to 2 Rite Aid stores today & neither store had the Quattro Titanums marked on sale. 1 store only had 1 & the other store had 4 - so I got my 5/25 coupon & 4 of my $4 coupons & picked up the 4 (plus some candy for my son) Now I need to locate another store that has 5...but the likelyness of that happening is slim to none since there are tons of couponers in my area. I was totally suprised that I was able to find 4 at one store. I'm working towards getting the $25 GC.
I've never asked any store to order items for me...how do you all go about doing that? Do you wait till you've made friends with someone in the store?

I am new to shopping at Rite Aid. The other night I purchased the Loreal nail polish on clearance $1.24. I entered the receipt that night and it hit today. When I looked online, it stated that I met the rebate for nail polish in the amount of $1.24, so I guess that I won't get the $2.00 rebate because I didn't pay over $2.00. No problem. Anyway, the thing that surprised me was that at the top of the screen it said rebate not qualified for and it showed the nail polish again and when I clicked on details, it had the info about the purchase $13 get 5 rebate. Can this same nail polish purchase qualify for both rebates?
Thanks.

Would the disposables be my best bet to spend as little as possible OOP? If not, what would you suggest? Please help.
Thanks!
gosh, I'm really not sure what would be cheapest. I suppose you don't have any more stores to check for more the razors that are currently on sale? Do you need diapers?

Do you know anyone who needs diapers? You could help them do the Huggies deal, let them pay you what it costs, and qualify that way.
OR...think about what you need. Do you NEED any of the products in the deal? It might not be the absolute cheapest out front, but with the GC coming back at you and the cheaper products, it could for sure save you money in the long run--Scott paper towels or TP? Kleenex?
Just a couple ideas! Hope this helps.

Sugar free peg bag candy are 99c this week, specially marked Life Savers (regular and sugar free) have a $1/1 coupon inside. Regular are $1.50 on sale. YMMV on the sugar free. Package says win a 7-day cruise.

I don't know if you'll see this in time but look at some of the things you can double dip on like the Huggies deal. You probably aren't going to get a better oop than the razors but you can at least maximize what you get back and have that much more in gift cards for next month, which looks like a good month!
If you buy diapers or pull ups there's actually 3 different rebates, the KC one, the Huggies $2 back on pull-ups and the "huggies" one that all end today. But if you don't need them and/or you don't have coupons, it might not be a good deal.
Kotex is another one you can double dip on. The kotex pads 14-24 ct are part of this KC deal and there is a $1 scr when you buy two of that size.
The Depends 14-40 ct is part of the KC deal and has a $5 rebate too.

Hey there!
Heads up:) Is there any chance you get half of your paper today? Saturday? We do and so we get our inserts a day early.
In tomorrows SS insert there is another $4/1 Quattro Q so maybe this'll help if you shoot out today?
