Pretty excited about this offer! Cereal and various cookies/crackers on sale 4/$10, purchase 8 and get $10 off. So comes to 8/$10! Plus, if you have coupons (and double!) you can potentially get them all free! I only have 4-$1 coupons for these items, but $2 for 8 items is awesome! Anyone else try this offer yet? Any problems with the $10 being automatically deducted?

I can not get to the store for double coupon wed, so I did the deal tonight. I purchased 8 cereals, I had 6 insert coupons, one mini wheats from vocal point, and a Special K Blueberry IP. My card had not gotten scanned first so the cereal rang up full price, after my card was scanned 8 -$1.75 came off to get to the 4/$10 sale price and there was 8 -1.25 lines to give the $10.

if you buy just the cereal and have 8 $1/1 q's... there will be a couple bucks in overage! I am going to buy blueberries and raspberries for my jello with the overage, and then hope there is enough cereal left on the shelves (need miniwheats for VP q's) to do it again after work!

Does Pick N Save let you do Seperate Transactions with Doubles?
Yes, they do. I even asked customer service if that was okay and they said that many people do that.

YES at least some of it! I got a box of cinnamon pecan. I was surprised as it's not usually included in sales :)

YES! It does!
8 boxes Kelloggs cereal $20
1 Ritz Cracker $2.50
1 Honey Maid Graham cracker $2.50
2 Dial soap $2.00 (didn't want a $0.00 balance)
TOTAL $27
- $10 instantly
- (5) 1/1 Kelloggs (man q) DBL $10
- (3) 1/1 Kelloggs (man q) $3
- (1) 1/1 Honey Maid (kraft IP)
- (1) 1/1 Ritz (kraft IP)
- (2) .35/1 Dial soap (man q)
GRAND TOTAL $1.41 (.11 tax)
Did that 3x, then made 4 other purchases
On some of the Keebler boxes of either crackers, bars, or bites, I found peelies stating buy bites/bars and get crackers for free. That worked out perfect too! Was able to use 4 of the peelies on the crackers($2.50 each), bought the bars($2.50 each), and then still could have 5 coupons too DBL. They took off the FULL $2.50 for the crackers, so I got all eight for free!

You did that in one transaction? And it gave you $30 off? I didn't know that the $10 would be taken off for each set of 8 boxes of cereal. I thought you would have to do more transactions. Hmmm. Sounds like I am going shopping again tonight!
No one at my store likes me though. They all stare at me and start whispering to CS when I come in. Makes me feel like I AM robbing the store. It's not my imagination either. DH is an army recruiter and one of the new recruits is a bagger there and he told DH that everyone who works there knows who I am.

OH tell them to get a life and to not be jealous of your frugalness!!!
People were whispering about me and looking at me like I was nuts today with all that cereal, but I know that it is going to save me a lot of money and help my family, so I could care less. Keep your chin up girl!

Thanks. It's nice to hear that. I'm almost scared that they will call the police and have them go over every coupon with a fine-tooth comb.

For those of you who are wondering if Copps/PnS gives overage, I'm here to tell you, they DO. Totally by accident, I meant to add enough stuff to my order to cover the overage from the cereal deal, but in my rush, I guess my math was a little off. Imagine my surprise and the cashier's when the register said my total was $-.95 and out popped the change from the automatic dispenser! Lol, now that's what I call a good shopping trip!

I've had this happen to me once by accident too and it makes me very nervous. I think we are all better off to actually buy things to cover the overage. If everyone started getting actual $$ back, it raises a huge red flag which will cause employees/managers to look into it and it will ultimately end even the overage that is now subtly applied to our other groceries. So always try to buy enough other items to "eat" the overage and not call attention.

Well,
I was able to get 140 boxes Kelloggs cereal, and 80 boxes of the 12 count poptarts all in one order. With coupons it will be $96.00 TOOP, BUT because my coupons didn't arrive in time, I had to buy the stuff w/just the COPPS $10 off each 8. Right now I am $204.00 OOP (received the 6 whatever they are called for a $10 gc, since I paid over $200), BUT they are going to honor my coupons when they come in!!!

ITA. It would be a blast to have money come out every time I shopped at Pick, but if I did that kind of stuff, the cashiers eventually WOULD notice and it would be stopped. Always take enough items to cover your overage. Grab candy bars if you have to.

I'm not sure if this deal is going on @ pns still.. but if it is, instead of buying 8, you can buy 2 more (and not worry about overages :P) AND do this MIR? Buy any 10 kellogg's and their participating brand in single transaction, and receive $10 MIR.
Here's the information page from kellogg's Kellogg Company - Fuel for School (http://www2.kelloggs.com/FamilyFocus/contentcta.aspx?id=1320)

No, the deal was done last week. I think Kelloggs is 4/$9 this week so only .25 with double coupons and if you buy 10 boxes you can still do the mail in rebate. I used all my coupons last week, though.

Really? I was at Copps yesterday and all the cereal was priced really high, like $3-4 box and I didn't see any sign of any specials. I might have missed something though. Not sure. I was disappointed b/c I wanted to get some cereal before my Kelloggs Qs expire and get the Fuel for School deal.

They were 4/$9 at my Pick-n-save through yesterday. Your store might be a week ahead of ours. Some parts of WI have different sales.
