I need diapers and rebate #61 says it is for Huggies snug and dry 34-60 ct. A size 6 box that is 19.99 is a 60 ct. The 7/12-7/18 ad shows the rebate with the larger bag of diapers that is usually priced 17.99 for a 40 ct on sale for 14.99 and qualifying for the #53 rebate for $2.00 off a mega pack and the #61 rebate for spend 50 get a $25 gift card. So my question is if I follow the wording and not the picture should I be able to buy 3 boxes at 19.99 and use my MQ's and get the $25.00 gift card. And is this the best deal? ANd if we are going by wording shouldn't the 3 boxes qualify towards the Huggies #800 rebate which also states snug and dry 26-60 ct? Should I call to verify first? Please let me know what you think, thanks so much!

My finding is that the online SCR is the most accurate. Second in the line would be the actual SCR booklet found in the stores. The last thing to trust is the ad. As long as you follow the wording for the SCR you will be fine and if you are not credited for whatever reason, all you have to do is call them and they have to honor the SCR booklet.

I found one pair of style science sunglasses at my store that were $9.99 regular price. Most were between $12.99 and $19.99.
The Kotex with the $1 rebate were $3.99.
The huggies swim diapers regular price was $9.49. Yikes that is high.

Would I be able to get both the gift card for the Johnson and Johnson rebate (#160) as well as the gift card for the Kimberly-Clark/unilever/Schick rebate (#61)?
They each say Limit One Gift card, and my first thought was that they meant one gift card per rebate number, but I figured I should double check.
Also, do these work the same as the one check rebates in that you need to buy 50.00 worth of product *before* the coupons are deducted?
Thank you!!

I did both the J&J and Kimberly Clark deal and both credited to my RA rebate account. You are correct that "limit one gift card" is one per rebate number.
Also, the amount you need to spend is pre-coupon. I only actually spent about $15 on the J&J one but it credited me for the pre-coupon amt. which was $53. HTH.

Thanks in advance!

Normally, no. Theirs usually keep track on the RA SCR website. If you look at your SCR profile and click on the rebate you can see how much you've earned towards that rebate. I hope this answers your question.

Thanks, again.
One last question....if the item is buy one, get one free, only the price of the one goes towards your total, correct? Since the other was free?
I've never done a gift card rebate before.....can you guess? :wink7:

It depends on the scenario you use...If it's BOGO because it's on a Rite Aid BOGO sale, then yes, only the one you pay for goes towards the rebate amount. However, if it's BOGO because you used a BOGO coupon then both amounts would go towards your rebate. RA is almost always based on the pre-coupon amount. Does that make sense?
You'll have the hang of the rebates in no time. RA IMO is the easiest company to work with rebate-wise because they're flexible and their rebate terms are usually very clearly written.

One other tip to keep in mind is that when looking on-line at the rebates you are qualified for or working towards, there is an option to "show details". If you click that it will show you what purchases qualifed towards a particular reward. I like that option when working towards things like the J&J rebate where I'm entering multiple receipts. It took me forever to realize I could see that level of detail (slow learner I guess :))

I'm not sure yet.
I did buy 2 boxes of OB, and I plan on getting 2 more.
My RA will take a Q for each box, so I get 2 boxes for 1.99, which is nice, since it's an item I really like. (As opposed to the items I'm just okay with that I buy because they're free.)

Just thought everyone would like to know that the l'oreal rebate works on clearance items (but only get clearance price credit). They had TONS of lipstick and such on clearance for $2-$3. Combine these with the HIP $2 coupons and you can get 5-6 items to reach the $13 limit, then get the $5 rebate. If you have the right coupons, it can turn into a MM.

I've gotten 8 of the maxi pads from the B1G1 sale but used B1G1 q's. I just started shopping at Rite Aid last week so I don't know anything about their rebates, etc. But, does that count towards some kind of rebate deal?

I had $7.98 from the BOGO maxis, and finished off with two transactions.
Trans #1
3 Aveeno positively ageless sunscreen on sale 20%off last week 8.79= 21.37-$5/25 - $10 IP= 11.37
Trans #2
2 Aveeno blah blah blah (above) 17.58 plus fillers to $25 - $5/25 - $5 IP= 13.54

This isn't necessarily a "scenario" but I wanted to let everyone know that for the L'oreal rebate (#156) nail polish is included as well. I didn't have my SCR book with me and bought it on clearance, not realizing that the rebate is for "Hair, Cosmetic or Skin Care Products". I know sometimes nail polish is included and sometimes it is not. It was definitely not pictured in the rebate ad in the book but it does count towards the rebate.
Thanks also to the poster who included info about clearance products counting towards the rebate. I used coupons and bought all clearance items. I was able to get about 15 items for $13 which is amazing for name-brand! :BigHand:Stocking stuffers all around!

Okay...here's my issue I'm pregnant with baby #2 (due early Feb) and have a 13-month-old at home. I have a small stockpile of diapers for the baby but have gone through my size 4 stockpile for DS. I need diapers and cheap. Is this scenario any good?
(I already have 1 credit for a pack of Huggies towards the 5 I need for #800)
If I buy 4 packs at $14.99 each (per ad scan)= 59.96
- $1.50 Manf. Q
- (3) $2.00 Manf. Q
- $2.00 Rebate (#53)
- $25.00 GC Rebate (#61)
= $25.46 OOP + One free pack of Huggies
I hope I did this right....

There was nothing in my Rite Aid called Dove Ultra Clear--not even any empty spaces for it.
The Dove Ultimate Clear was on sale 2/$6 and I had 8 $1qs...I went ahead and bought those, hoping it was right.
Will this qualify for $24 toward the #61 rebate? I know I can wait and see in a few days on the rebate site once my receipts clear, but I'd like to go ahead and get more Kleenex and/or Scott products this week while they're cheaper if the Dove is not going to work.
NOTE: I am in LA so my sale ends tonight. If anyone could help me in the next few hours, I'd REALLY appreciate it.
Thanks and reps for your help!

Hi! Did you see the deals explained in this week's thread about the Schick disposables being B1G150%? There are the B1G1 free coupons out...you'll get more credit for your dollar and less cost...that is, if you want disposable razors. Next week'll give you the Schick Quattros for $1.99 from $5.99 with the $4q in the 6/14 SS (IIRC). There are also the B1G1 free Kleenex this week, and there are Kleenex qs in the 7/12 SS.
I hope these ideas help!

I purchased 5 Huggies diapers and have been credited for the $25 gift card, but I don't see anything about the free voucher for one (SCR #800) on my online account. After logging into your SCR account, look further down the page. Since this is a multi-month promotion it may not automatically be listed with your July rebates. Mine was further down the page and not directly under July.
If you don't see it anywhere and you're sure all your receipts have cleared, definitely contact RA. They are very helpful at researching and fixing mistakes. Hope this helps. :wavehi:

They are "ultra thin" pads. There is no "maxi" wording on the package.
