It's still their. I just printed more. I went and bought the 3.5 lb kitten chow today $3.98 -$5 which they adjusted down = .24 a bag (had to pay the tax).

FYI...just to let everyone know, this coupon will beep everytime no matter what. The cashier said that it's something to do with the "high" dollar amount so the system makes them check it each time.

I've had this happen at Meijer for other "over $2" coups, but I've never been able to figure out exactly what dollar amount sets off the beep!

My rescue that almost got run over by a bus right in front of me is on the thin side at 9 months old, loves kitten chow and the vet (by telephone) said to try giving him more kitten chow.

I had a very nice cashier last night tell me that some coupons "beep" when the net cost of an item is below a set profit margin. This makes sense if you think about it. I've had higher value coupons go right through while some of the lower valued ones seem to "beep" every time which makes me think he may have been correct!

Great idea, buggs1! I always forget to check the self-check scanners. I only saw signs for the Healthy Weight and Hairball Formula. I'm lucky my kitties aren't that particular. They love all of the Purina One flavors but won't touch the Iams. I'm glad because the Iams is usually much more expensive.

It looks like this is a promotion with Meijer and Purina One to benefit the One Hope Network shelters. Since the coupon is valid through 9/5/2009, I wonder if they will have the Purina One foods on sale through then? Let's keep our fingers crossed! :giggle2:

Good news! The Purina One Healthy Kitten Formula 3.5 pound bag is priced at $5.99 at least through Saturday, 7-25-09 at the Cincinnati Meijer stores. Hope this helps! I know what it's like when money is tight and you have hungry mouths to feed! :giggle2:

This is turning out to be a great coup for me...I've noticed that each of the past 3 weeks have had some type of Purina One dog or cat food on sale.

At my Meijer this week, the 8 lb bag was on sale for $8.50 giving me 8 lbs for $3.50 on a high quality reg priced item of over $12.

I'm hoping for another good sale on some Purina One item next week too (since the coup doesn't expire until early Sept)

Yippee.... cheap cat food for at least a few more weeks!! I have been picking up a bag every time I go...and with the deals the last few weeks I have been going almost every day!

This coupon ended up being a mixed blessing, I've never been treated so poorly by store staff before.

I went through the u-scan twice, and then was told they were calling a manager on me for using a fake coupon. After making me wait for almost 10 minutes the manager finally came out. He told me he had been warned about this coupon and it wasn't valid. I told him I got it directly off the Meijer website, and pulled it up on my Iphone showing him that it was 100% valid. So he relented, caught in a lie and said it was okay for me to use them. I told him I had a bunch of coupons, and asked if it was okay if I left the store and came back in between purchases, he said okay.

So I left and came back and again the u-scan cashier gave me a hard time and called the manager, and again the manager gave permission. On my 6-7th bag a second cashier was standing next to the u-scan cashier and from 20 feet away she shouted that they were not taking my coupons anymore. She tells me that she personally spoke to the manager and he said we were not to use any more. I told her that I had actually discussed this with the manager 5 minutes ago. She then accuses me of coupon fraud, warning me that it's a FELONY. After further insisting she calls the manager, and he again okays us. To which she declares in an obnoxious voice "he doesn't look like a cat person". After she hangs up the phone I show her a picture of my cat and his name, and she rolls her eyes at me. From there on out she hassles me each trip with comments like "leave some for the rest of us" Or "there won't be much stock left now". I ended up getting 10 bags of cat food out of a stock of 60-80 bags.

some people can get online at the library, but it's expensive to print, so it's actually easier/cheaper to buy on ebay, so maybe it's not all bad, but still, they didn't need to be rude. Is this a new rule that you can't sell IP's on ebay?

I honestly don't know why that would be annoying. That's no different than 10 different people coming through their lines with a coupon. It just happens to be the same person. They are PAID to assist people with their purchases even if they have coupons. Whether 1 person comes in 10 times or 10 different people come in should make no difference to them. They're getting paid to do the same job regardless.

Many of the dog treats are 2/$5 with a mfg (insert coup) of $4 off 4 packages.

I bought 8 packs of Beggin Strips (minus $8) and a 3lb. bag of cat food (minus the $5 Meijer printable) to make it to $25..then minus $5 instantly made my OOP just a little over $7.

hint: Be careful to get the correct ounce size bags of dog treats. I accidently got some of the 3 oz instead of the 6 oz Beggin Strips and messed up my first order.

I did find out if it can be combined. It can. My total (with the cat food included) was 25.50. Cashier scanned both coupons and my total went down to 15.50. No problems at all. GREAT DEAL!!

I got 5 boxes of cereal, milk, bread, cat food, lunchables, canned veggies, and a few other items for a little over $7 after coupons!! Will be going back tomorrow!
