Food World Forum Announcement for week of 6/23 - 6/30

Ok guys, we basically have 4 ads this week.

Htown is the only store on the old ad - should still be bonus card required

The new 6 page no bonus card ad:

greensprings, pelham and rainbow city have the new no card ad

Same ad as greensprings but has the grand opening info on the first page
are the Tuscaloosa stores ADS. They have a grand opening thursday, fri and sat and have the new 6 page no bonus card ad

Mobile stores are on the new 6 page ad and have a $/$ coupon....you lucky ducks!

I am going strictly from the computer.
Not having an ad in front of me and all the multiple ads are confusing for me.

Hopefully - Hueytown will be on board with the new no card ad next week. Then maybe we should be back to one or 2 ads. The main difference being who gets the $/$ coupons.

Pelham had the $5/$30 q on the front page of the ad. I verified with Publix that they would accept it since no card is required at this Food World. Of course, next time I go into Publix, they may have changed their mind, change policy or be having a bad hair day and deny it.

Unfortunately, my Pelham insert from the newspaper did not have a 5/30 q it had a 5/12.00 Pepsi q. I did get one in last weeks inserts, though.

Brokenchina, do you know if these are in the in-store flyers at the Pelham Food World?

One good deal I did see in the Pelham ad was BOGO Tyson Fully Cooked Chicken bags. Makes each bag about 3.00 after 1.00/1 insert q.

according to fw website only mobile stores got the $/$ this week and they are on page 5 or 6.

I am hoping that greensprings will have the q next week.

SFM is doing a really good job of making this confusing for everyone!

Yeah, I think they are going to finish off the bruno name.
The sales prices aren't there.
I wish they would up the doubles to a higher amount and do triples at a lower amt like some of the other stores in other states.

I just feel bad about the fw/brunos forums.
There is nothing good in the ads.
IMO, Nothing good enough of a deal to even do a match up on.

I think their ad prices are pretty good, it's just that they're not doing many if any BOGO's or BOG2's like Bruno's did. They are doing 10/$10 a lot, and seem to be focusing more on the everyday low price format. As far as doubles, they double as much as WD does. That is their only major competition in the areas where they remain. I still miss working for Bruno's. Despite what we went through, it was a great place to work, and we all felt like a family. I wish my new employer would take a page out of the book on that one!

Sounds like you had a great bunch at your store.

Anyway the new ad is ads again. Will take some time to sort through which stores are on which ad again.
