Question about GM Cereal Deal and doubling

I know that you have to have $25 worth of items before coupons and after store discounts, but I had a question about the GM cereal deal.

If it takes off $10 instantly for 6 boxes of cereal, do I need to buy $35 worth of stuff instead of $25 for my coupons to double? Need to know ASAP.

No, you just have to spend $25.00. I just got back from the store. I got 6 boxes of cereal and 4 boxes of Nature Valley granola bars. Total before coupons was 28.00. It took off the $10 first then I gave my coupons and they still doubled. Total after coupons was $8.00 and I got back the 2 milk Cat and a $2.50 Cat from the Nature Valley deal.
