I live about 35 minutes or so from my commissary, and DH is not into using coupons... yet. I want to get some of these good deals, and I have tons of coupons for the bumble bee tuna, kotex, etc. Should I go into the store twice..three times, or should I just get everything at once, having 80 or so coupons? :shrug7:

I havent had a problem using q's last time I went in, and i had three K-Ys then,... I just dont want to have a problem there.. ya know

TIA

Depending on what I'm buying, I'll use over a hundred q's at a time. Don't waste your time making several transactions! Just keep a close eye on making sure they scan correctly. Oh, and I like to warn anyone who comes up behind me in line that I have alot of coupons and it could take awhile.

I just wanted to make sure! I guess I will just tell the people behind me that I have a bunch of Q's... I dont want to worry about making anyone mad...

I know the cash register used to allow a maximum of 500 coupons. I always try to stay below 500 just to be safe.

On my last large trip I used 250 coupons, but I know there have been times when I've probably used more than that.

If you're able to stand a longer cashout so they can scan all the coupons, I say use them all at once. I tend to do this since I have 2 kids and I like to leave them home with DH. I can do one big trip and I done for a few weeks.

same here, I like to leave my son with DH so I can shop and bring my booklet with me, in case there are other deals going on... =)

This is my *first* big commissary shopping trip... so hope all goes well!

wow! I don't think I have ever used over 20 Q's at a time. I usually just go once a month and buy meat at the commissary. I actually find better deals at the grocery stores for all my other items I stockpile.

We've not gone over 100 qs yet but I wouldn't think twice about using more than that. There are some really great deals at the commissary since you can stack manufacturer coupons and military coupons. Always be on the look out around the store for coupons posted on the shelves/products! My husband loves coupon shopping. He gets this huge smile on his face when they ring it up and then start scanning our coupons =)

I thought DECA policy was one coupon per item...either the manufacturer Q OR the military store Q but not both. Does anyone know if this has changed?

DECA policy is one coupon per item.
"military only" coupons are manufacturer coupons.
you can stack manufacturer coupons and military coupons.
