Watch for expired Yo+ Yogurt on sale

The peach and blueberry flavors of Yoplait Yo+ yogurt were on sale at my Albertsons for $2.09 for the 4 pack, and there is a $1.00 coupon (from last week, I think). I was getting a few packs when I noticed they were both expired. The peach flavors had expired on June 12th and the blueberry on June 18th. I notified a store employee who said those flavors are being discontinued and removed all the expired containers from the shelf. So, just a heads up to check the expiration date if you see these on sale at your local store.

Sadly, I have run into that A LOT at Albies! Many of the products on the shelf if not already expired have a MONTH before they expire. Kinda stinks when you are trying to stock pile! :sad:

When I shopped Albies during big coupon weekends, there were TONS of items expired. I don't think they teach the stockers to rotate in that store.

Let me tell you about my experience with the expired coupons -- I noticed that the KC Masterpiece on an endcap was on sale at the Denton store for 2/3.00 and each had a coupon on for 1.00 or 1.50 off or so. So, I grabbed a couple on the way to the checkout. The cashier rudely let me know that I could use only one coupon, I apologized because I had not read the print since each bottle had a coupon. Then the cashier rudely pointed out that the coupon was expired. I pointed to the endcap and said she needed to honor the coupon because the store was handing them out. She finally overrode the coupon after she realized I was not budging.
I went to the service desk to bring it to management's attention, but the gentleman was not the least bit interested. I went to the cashier at the self checkout and asked to speak to a manager. Of course, trying to speak to a manager required additional persistence. I finally spoke to somebody that was considered a manager and she seemed to be concerned and said she would address the situation. I returned the next day to get some more of the bargain strawberries, and the endcap was still full of expired coupons.
I dread going to this particular Albertson's anyway, if this is going to be a standard practice, I will definitely drive farther south.

yup the free salsa a while back was all expired here. also many times they put out really great clearance items in baskets out, 25c and less. yuh until you read the date and it expired 2 years ago (seasonings) we slowly backed away! EWWWWWWWW!
