Ooh, really? By Southern Oregon, are you referring to Medford/Grants Pass? I'm in Roseburg, so I don't know if we get the same ad, but I'll be crossing my fingers for doublers!
Last Albie's doublers was my first and I had a blast!

Me either! I just stopped by my store and we were talking about a store that will be having a grand opening here in Montana(kalispell). We were talking about the possible sale items that they might carry for next week.
He said....well, i don't think the store is really worried because we will have doubles next week.......I asked for a copy of the ad and he said he hadn't looked at the ad yet....
so here's hoping!?!?!?!?

My store in Lakewood, WA had a big poster up in the back near the dairy section for the next big sale. It showed the dates of 6/24- 7/4. I was in a hurry or I would have tried to get details- but there were a HUGE number of varied items.
I am trying to wait patiently... but after so little shopping this week its hard!

Hello - I am new and have a question. When the Placeholder thread is posted, does that mean the person has the ad in-hand? In the past few weeks I have seen the Placeholder for the coming week's ad, and keep checking back - sometimes for several days - but don't see any additional info.
Am I looking in the wrong place?

It all depends on when someone (usually SuperBob000) gets it and has a chance to scan it in. It looks like he has not been online since 6/18 so maybe he is out of town. We just need to wait patiently and someone is likely to get it posted.

likely good at Albertsons too. These are the ones that have the shelf tags at some stores. $1 wyb 5 and should give 3 if you get 15 to optimize the coupons, depending on how the deal works.

OK so free Kens if there's doubles.
M&M:
free Easy Mac cups with bogo and $1/2 Qs
Cheap tuna pouches as stated
Free/cheap Planters bars with doubles
Kelloggs free with doubles
Free Capri Sunrise with doubles
If there's only 2 doubles per transaction, I will build my transactions on a tuna and Easy Mac base I think.

First of all, welcome to the group! I start the thread with a Placeholder, usually on Saturday or Sunday, and sticky it so it stays on the top of the forum page. I don't have any early access to the ad itself , so I (we) all depend on Superbob or some other kind soul to scan it. Then, I'll add matchups to the first post.
P.S. I just added some highlights to post #1

Safeway just had these deal and it was great I got a lot of stuff cheap or free with coupons but you need to remember they do not list everything that is on sale , I walked around the store and saw what was 10 for $5.00 I got 10 hefty bags last time for around 4.00 for all 10... I got sausage for .49 cents a pack cheaper if they had coupon for though but I did stock up on sausage ..if you go online when they have this deal start they might have it all marked like safeway did I did that too went online found some great deals ,,
It works for every 10 items you get you take .50 cents off did you understand that part ? This is a great deal if you work it right .

I'm thinking that doing the M&M promo is only worth it until my Kraft salad peelies and my BOGO Easy Mac Qs run out...
There are $1/2 blinkies at QFC for Kelloggs cereal (maybe Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks, Froot Loops, can't remember which others) so if I buy 6 pasta salads and 2 Easy Macs and 2 Kelloggs, using 3 salad peelies and 1 BOGO Easy Mac and the $1/2 Kelloggs I will get them all for free.
I have lots of $1/1 Kelloggs Qs but it seems that with only two doublers, it is worth just buying 2 Kelloggs cereals at a time and nothing else, for example, and getting them free two at a time. Same with $1 mayo, PopTarts, Capri Sun, or any of the $1.99 items.
Any other options for not having to spend money on the M&M deal?

The Capri Sunrise are $2.00-.50 M&M-$1 MQ = $0.50 ea! If you use a doubler it's a .50 money maker. My plan is to buy 10, use 10 coupons and 2 doublers for $3 oop. Not free, but super cheap!

MY CAT DIDNT PRINT from the conagra promo.
I called the catalina company and the person I spoke w/ said my total after mc's had to be $25 (Im still kinda new to this but from what I've read online and experienced myself, its always been before mc's). So I asked to speak w/ a manager just to verify what she was telling me. Manager was not available so they had to call me back.
Well when I got home I had a message stating that they would mail me the $10cat, but that some promotions are NOW based on total purchase price.
---talk about confusing how are we supost to know the difference.

I think it is interesting on how they could moving the number of doubles back. At first they sent 4 at a time, then 3, now 2. Perhaps they are trying to strike a balance between making couponers happy and still making money. With 2 doublers, though, the deals aren't as good and the extra trips just might no longer be worth it.
The Kelloggs cereal will be a good deal, though. For 10 boxes, after 10 $1/1 mq's for each box & two doublers, this comes out to 2.90 for 10 boxes or 29 cents each.

I found an e-mail that a coupon for Father's Day for $5 off my next transaction with preferred card. It came in my e-mail, and I had to print it, and hasm y prefferred card number up top. I hadn't opened the e-mail till just now, but it says it expires on the 25th, and I intend on trying to use it with this deal too!!

I'll just stick with buying Kelloggs cereals two at a time so they are free. I'll take family members with me and have each do two transactions with two boxes of cereal. (They won't put up with doing this TOO often, but they'll do it a few times a week when there are doublers...)

Usually with these types of cats it works multiple times in a single transaction. We won't know for sure until someone tries it.
:shrug7:I guess I don't understand what the advantage is of doing more than one M&M in a transaction. If you have coupons to double you would come out ahead to do two transactions.

In the case of the Starkist tuna, these coupons are not able to be doubled because the original face value is more than $1. If a person has a bunch of the Starkist coupons, it saves time to just do several batches of M&M in one transaction.

I just did it, and you DO get a $1 cat for every 5 purchased! However, I made the mistake of buying half in pouches and half in cans because the cans have almost twice as much tuna in them. You only get the cat for the pouches, not the cans. :)

Well, then I was supposed to get 6- $1 OYNO cats for the tuna. I look and there is a red flashing light on the error spot. I said something to the cashier who calls her manager. The manager gives me a $10 cat instead; woo hoo!
I was so preoccupied with getting the cats that I didn't realize that my OOP seemed high. After I got home, I saw that only I only got 3-$5 Mix and Match savings when I bought 40 eligible products. The bonus pack Poptarts were with their Mix and Match display, the correct price, AND I asked an employee if they were included and she said they absolutely were. I still think that is what messed me up, though. I think the bonus ones weren't in the system as Mix and Match eligible.
Does anyone know how I should go about getting this fixed? Should I bring all 10 items in and explain? Just the poptarts? Just the receipt? I'm hoping I don't need to return and rebuy, because I used a bunch of coupons on them and don't want them at the "full" price.
Anyway, assuming they, some way or another, give me the $5 back, even after one Q not being scanned, I will still have made $.12 buying all that stuff!

So yesterday I special ordered 120 pks of tuna at my local Albies (Pearl St in Tacoma). They called me this morning to tell me it was in!! I went to pick it up and the lady at CS was AWESOME!! She rang them up and waited until all 24 $1 OYNO printed out before she scanned my coupons... just to be on the safe side. I get home and open these 2 huge boxes of tuna and each box has the cardboard display and a HUGE tearpad full of coupons :giggle2: Like I need anymore tuna coupons!

I was so excited to get 10 Digiorno pizzas for a great price!!
Initially it was a so so price but with my $1.00 off coupons & doubles and the $18.00 in return cash it worked out to be just under $21.00 for 10 pizzas!! And these are our favorites!
I guess I should clarify the $18.00 was from the Conagra and Ice cream. I reread and it sounded funny!:wink7:

Got 120 tunas today - a whopping $2 after coupons and catalinas.
Also got the taco bell taco shells - 20 of them - completely for free since the .50c/1 coupons were on the box. Went back to get more this afternoon and someone else beat me to them.
Going to get as many tuna as I can - will donate a bunch to the foodbank.
Sorry, but how do you get $2? Also, did you get all of this in one purchase? And, where are you shopping? TIA:wink7:

I bought 60 in a transaction.
.75c each after the in store sale = $45
Less 20 of the $1.50 coupons = $15 after coupons
Less $2 of double coupons = $13
Less $12 in catalinas for buying 60 = $1
I did this twice. So $2 for 120 of them.
I have 60 more coupons - plan on getting them all used up for this sale.

Weird the way they ring up, the only taxable item I had was one Capri Sun, marked on my receipt as 'B' which must mean taxable, everything else was 'F' which I assume means food (no tax here on most food). One of the $5 Epic Savings shows as 'B' and one as 'F' and my tax is a negative number...

I went back tonight and discovered that I am in LOVE with my local Albertson's. I used to go there every once in awhile, but until last doubles, I hadn't gone there in forever.
Anyway, earlier I had a problem with not getting one of my $5 off credits for the M&M. I went in, told the lady that I had bought 40 items and had only gotten $15 off. The manager was right there... she didn't even look at the receipt, just took my word on it and handed me $5 cash. I told her that the bonus Pop Tarts might not be part of the deal & asked if she wanted me to exchange them for the regular size, but she said everything was fine.
Then, I rounded up all my stuff and went up to pay. The cashier was great. He asked the manager if there was a limit on MQs. She said no, but just 2 like IPs per transaction, because that is how many people can legitimately print. The cashier asked if there was any tuna left. I thought he was wondering if I had cleared the shelves. I said, "No, there is a lot left." Turns out he just wanted to know if there was an empty display that he could take down.
I got...
60 pouches of tuna x $1.25 = $75
18 boxes of Taco Bell shells x $1.00 = $18
2 boxes TLC Cereal Bars x $2.99 = $5.98
John Morell Pork = $2.98
John Morell Pork = $2.81
John Morell Pork = $2.62
John Morell Pork = $2.36
2 John Morell Sausage x $1.50 = $3.00

So, between my 2 trips today I got...
90 pouches of tuna, 18 taco shells, 2 boxes Kashi bars, 2 sausage packs, 4.5 pounds of pork loin, 1 box of Poptarts, 3 boxes of cereal, 2 Mac n Cheese cups, 2 Crystal Light to Go, & 2 Jack Daniel's BBQ sauces for... $6.63!!!
My cashier called the manager over to brag about how well I'd done. She honestly seemed thrilled. I said, "I'm seriously going to come here every day now." She laughed and went out of her way to thank me, several times. This is the only time I've ever gone to a grocery store, used coupons, and felt like I was treated as a valued customer.
Anyway, if you made it this far, thanks for listening! I came home all excited and my DH was like, "Cool." :rolleyes24:

Jesuisprecieux ROCKS!
Thanks so much- I found the coupons and am now one happy tuna lady. For those having troubles finding the coupons, check the overstock/special sales areas.
This store even had a sign proclaiming what a great deal this was. They said buy 10 @ 1.25 each for 12.50, then use 3 of the $1.50/3 coupons and get the $5 M&M savings to get 10 for $3. They almost got it right!

60 pouches of tuna, and I had none for a couple weeks!
6 bags of cereal
20 boxes of taco shells .. which is soo many I'll be sharing w/family!
In 2 transactions so I used the doublers twice, a little bit of mess up on my coupons by the cashier once in my favor and once in theirs. After counting my OYNO it cost somewhere around $2.60 wow!

Last night I got a few things.
30 pouches of tuna (used tearpad)
10 bags of Precious string cheese/cheese sticks (used $2.00 peelie)
10 boxes of taco shells (used peelie)
30 kraft easy mac (there was $0.55/2 tearpad right there in store)
100 kool-aid and 10 bags of brown sugar (used $2.00 off sugar WYB 10 Kool-aid insert coupon and a raincheck I had for brown sugar 10 for $10 (I have more rainchecks, will be getting more!)
10 cans mighty dog dog food, my store had twin packs for .89 (used free item coupon from insert)
3 bags Mission tortillas $1.69 (used $1.00/1 blinkie found in store)
various produce that we needed (bell peppers, nectarines, apples, oranges, bananans etc)
I spent $59.40 and saved $224.60 and ended up with $5.00 in OYNO Catalina.
I totally forgot to use my wimpy $2.00 in doubles. :shrug7:
The produce and string cheese were my biggest expences though. But the cheese freezes for school lunches and we got eat our fresh fruits and veggies!
I have a whole list of things I am going to get on my next trip...lots of good stuff is on sale this week that I actually need or am low on.
On my list is
Kellogg s Rice Krispies (going to use insert coupon AND free marshmallows WYB - free rice krispies treats with that deal! ALSO have 1 free eggs WYB (2) Kellogg's cereal coupon that someone sent to me)
Pop tarts (going to use $1.00/1 peelie making them $.49 each or Free after doubles)
Capri Suns - (going to use $1.00/1 insert coupon making them $0.50 each or free after doubles)
Kraft BBQ sauce (going to use $0.75/1 insert coupon and $2.00 off meat WYB 2 tearpad making them $0.25 each or free after doubles)

Sobe life water (going to $1.00/5 albies catalinas that I got a few weeks ago making them $0.60 each or $0.30 after doubles if they will double the Catalina)
There might be other deals but those are the coupons I pulled last night.

With all of this tuna everyone is getting, you might be interested to know that Tuna Helper is on sale 10/10. I found a peelie on one of the boxes for $1/3 and doubled it making the Tuna helper $.33 each.

There is also a printable for $.80/3 which is just a wee bit better.

Weird - the taco shells scanned for $1 here - and they were completely free!!!
I have one store that always has priced promo items to end in "9" so coupons will not double if they are $1 or $.50 in value.
I show the cashiers my ads and ask them to increase the price of the item to the advertised price so the coupons will work. They grumble but do adjust the price up as I request.

Ok, so total take so far...
287 pouches of tuna and 30 boxes of taco shells - all for about $5 cash out of pocket.
Gave 30 tuna to a friend who needed them, and passed 157 of them onto the foodbank today. They were thrilled! Also gave them the bulk of the taco shells.
I did see the kraft suddenly salad with the peelies - I don't like the stuff personally, but I'll have to go back and get some for the foodbank.
Still have $19 in cats to use, plus another $2 survey coupon. I love this sale. I still have 60 more tuna coupons to use. Hoping to get them all used cause our foodbank is entirely self-supporting - no state or federal funds into them.

Culinary pizza is 3.99 each and a free 2 liter bottle of 7-up or Sunkist.
There is a 1.00/1 printable
Double
= 1.99 for pizza and a pop
I know that is not free but we needed frozen pizzas and they are expensive.
Also I got pilsbury brownies which are 1.00 and there is .35/1 coupon making them .30 each. I don't know if this is good or not but I am still trying to round up stuff for deserts.
There are no peelies on the taco shells at either Port Orchard store. I will try east bremerton and Silverdale tomorrow (Washington).
I was able to get 1.00/1 peelies for Cherry Dr. Pepper. Then inside the box was 1.00/1 any Dr. Pepper product.
2.60 for each buy 5. You 5 coupons and double 2. Not bad for pop.
I got 2.00 your next order survey today as well. So far I have got 4 of them.
Just a side note on the gass rewards. If you do over 20 transaction in a short time period not exactly what that means it locks your gas rewards at 1.05 but allos you to continue to still earn rewards they just sit there until you use the 1.05. This is what they told me when I called customer service. They said my total was 2.85 but because I had so many transactions the computer locks it. Anyone else had this happen?
I grabbed the wrong Capri-Sun regular and not sunrise by mistake the coupon worked and didn't beep. werid. I didn't even notice until I was unpacking the truck at home.

That's so awesome! They have a great shelf life, and they are 100% juice, so hands down beats a capri sun any day of the week.

The Nalley pickle coupon also expires this week, I think on 6/27. Use with a doubler and the smaller size jars of dill pickles are $1.
On the Kraft Easy Mac (sorry if someone already posted this) buy 10 & use 5 .55/2 mq found in some stores w/2 doublers. After the 5/5 M&M savings, this should be 1.24 for 10. If there are three doublers on Sunday, it would take them down to 10 for .69.

Not sure where you are but they are also in the Oregon City Store up front by the stuff that is on sale for the week! HTH:smile:
Ack! I can't find the tuna coupons!! I'm in Portland area, anyone know of a store that has them? I couldn't find any at my local albies, but I'm going to go back and ask since it sounds like they aren't necessarily in the tuna section. I'm ordering some off ebay and hoping they show up in time (still a good deal if I don't pay too much for coupons) but I'd really like to make sure I can get them. Any suggestions?

I don't know that I saw this, but one more to add, although I gave the coupons I found to the foodbank for her to go chase....
Stove Top Stuffing cups are in the $10/10 - $5 = .50c each deal. I found a tearpad today for Buy 2 get one free - which would make these 3 for $1. Not the hottest deal, but the single serves are nice for camping and travel.

I am so happy! Got a great deal at Albies today!! I got 4 boxes of Kellogg's cereal and 6 bottles of Purex laundry detergent for .71 cents!! I used 6 .35 cent off Purex, 2 $1.50 off for the Kellogg's and 2 $1 off for two other kinds of Kellogg's cereal and two doublers for the $1 coupons. I also used a $5 off my total transaction coupon I got in an e-mail from Albies for Father's Day, and a $10 oyno cat I got from the last sale! If I would have realized I would have had more overage I could have gotten two more candy bars and paid .10 cents! But she said I she can't pay me, so adjusted it to just the .71 cents tax. I am terrible at figuring out how much tax though. I was thinking it would be more, so was hoping the overage would just cover most of the tax. Didn't realize it would be .90 cents over. lol Oh well! I wanted to stock up on laundry detergent and .71 cents for the cereal and 6 (32 loads) bottles will defintely help! LOL BTW, I love coupons! And I love HCW!! You all make it possible for a single mom to afford her home and other bills!

Blinkies are "do not double".
I was just at Safeway - they are for the corn tortillas - BLECK! So I'll be getting them at Albertsons anyway!
:poke:I keep forgetting. Here in WA, all Albies double everything.
So, for those of you in WA where you can double everything, take the $1 Q from the Oreos packages (for when you buy Oreos and milk) and double it, buying the $1.67 milk and the $1.25 Snak Sak of Oreos (the little bags). Milk + Oreos for $.92!
The customer ahead of me at the SCO left behind a CAT for $2 off the purchase of Kelloggs Corn Flakes with honey. :BigHand:Keep a watch out for that one!

The gas thingy is happening to me-I have been stuck at 1.05 FOREVER! I was gonna call on it but have not had the time-but I seriously lined up all my reciepts to check and sure enough.....it didn't matter how much I paid-I earned a .05 gas reward but still only 1.05-:shrug7:-don't know what to do about that for heavens sakes...anybody????

I have had the same touble. For us couponers it will be almost impossible to get the full $1.50 in 20 transactions. Your rewards are still there, after you use your $1.05 I have found that the second receipt will show the accumulated ones. You are just going to have to settle for $1.05 this go round!! But, that is still great. Im at $1.20 and holding!! So its time to get gas!! Hope this helps

Where did you find this q? I don't see it in the database - thanks!
Clearview (WA) had 2 full pads of the tuna q's BUT someone had moved them from the display to the tuna shelf. Took some searching (me: moving the display trays, looking everywhere near the display; employees: crazy lady?). Cashier was awesome, noticed that I had accidentally picked up 3 Albacore pouches, which were not included/not ringing up as the sale ones; had another ee run back and get me the right ones. Complimented me on the deal too - "WOW! I can't believe you got all that for like $8!"
Thanks to everyone I will also be making a LARGE tuna donation to the food bank!:thanks7:

Back when Albies first started doublers, one of the cashiers I was using asked the manager about the "DO NOT DOUBLE" coupons. The manager said that Albertsons is taking the loss on the double coupons - not the manufacturer - so they had been told that it was okay to double every coupon that meets the criteria printed on the Albies doubler coupons. I try to be really conscientous (SP?) about using coupons in the right way but because I personally heard the store manager give the cashier instructions to double coupons that said "do not double" I don't worry about this issue at all.

All this tuna has me thinking..... How many of you watch Deadliest Catch? Or some of the other commercial fishing shows? We watched a herring show the other day and you would have thought there was a hundred couponers fighting over the same stock on a good sale! Actually we would be much more courteous! How are they making any money on this sale! These shows have given a much deeper respect for any "fish" product we eat..

THe store can order some tuna in for you if you ask. My friend and I ordered in 240 pouches ( 120 for each of us) on thursday and it will be here this morning. Just ask your stockperson. We have been picking up coupons for months so we didn't just wipe out the store this week.
THe tuna does have a long shelf life so I am buying a ton now instead of paying more for it later. I have a huge food storage/stockpile with enough food to last 6months-1 year. :wavehi:

I sure hope you get your tuna. I bought just 30 off the shelves the first day, and then special ordered my bulk quantity so that I wouldn't wipe out the shelves for others. I didn't want to be greedy and inconsiderate. But it didn't come in. Every Albertsons in my area (6 of them!) are completely out and they are all telling me that the warehouse is empty and that there will be no more. I'm feeling a little bit frustrated right now. Due to circumstances, my budget is about $5-$10 per week for groceries and sometimes its literally just pocket change. But I have been able to do ok with couponing. My family is getting really tired of cereal and mac&cheese,though...ha ha! I was sooo hoping to stock up on some protien/tuna while I could afford it.

My dh keeps threatening the kids with tuna spaghetti... to use the 40+ boxes of nearly free pasta & Ragu pasta sauce at 25 cents a jar! His ideas also include: tuna enchiladas, tuna & peanut butter sandwhiches, tuna kabobs, tuna tacos... uh, doesn't that sound good!
Seriously, though, with a superlong shelf life and keeping in mind that the pouches are probably less than 1 small can of tuna, it wouldn't be hard to use that much in a couple of years.

You were lucky that you got a raincheck on this sale. The ad states "While supplies last. NO Rainchecks." across the bottom.
I also special ordered the tuna (just 20) on Tuesday and it did not come in. The warehouses seem to be out. My ASD told me today that the Epic Event will continue for 4 weeks, but not all items will be on sale the whole time. New ones will be added and some will be dropped. Hopefully the tuna stays on the sale long enough to get some in the store.

Both of the Albies stores here were out of tuna pouches. I'm so sad! We eat tuna like you wouldn't believe and haven't had any in a couple of months. I asked if they could order me some in; they said it should be restocked by Tuesday but they couldn't do a hold. I asked for a raincheck but they said the catalina would not be reflected in the raincheck price, only the sale price.
It was still a nice shop day. I got $110 worth of groceries for FREE! (Had a $40 prepaid gift card from a rebate earlier this year, tho.) Here's what I bought.
NEEDS - cat food, peanut butter, bread
10 pks KoolAid ($.50 MC)

10 6-pk boxes of popcorn ($1 off MC x10)
4 tuna pouches ($1.50/3 MC)
2 crystal light boxes ($2/2 MC)
2 Kraft pasta salads ($1/2 peelie)
Capri Sun Sunrise ($.75 MC)
CoffeeMate creamer ($1 MC)
Received two $5 Epic savings
Used two doubler Qs
Saved $68.11, spent $35.69 on gift card. I probably could have gotten a better deal with preplanning, but I haven't sorted my coupon binder in a couple of weeks and had kids with me in the store.
The lady in front of me was nice enough to give me a $5 OYNO coupon, except it had expired five days ago. Bummer. It was the thought that counted. And it's such a nice feeling to knock a few things off my "need to stockpile" list. (And get the cat out from under my legs...)

So, just out of curiosity, what are you all going to do with all this tuna?
I love it - high protein, low cal - I've dropped 30 pounds since my husband deployed! It has a two year shelf life, which is huge, so at 2 a week, 200 would get me through the next two years.
But so far, I kept 90, gave away 30, and donated about 160 of them.

I heard from my store manager that Kelloggs is going to be a pick part of this "epic event" sale - so start hoarding Kelloggs coupons and printables, and watch for peelies on products as I understand that will be a part of this sale.

The Rhodes Warm & Serve rolls were still tagged at $2.69 so .69 after doubles (includes the sticky ones).
If you don't like the Kraft Pasta salad, for free you can deconstruct it and use the component parts, like the shell pasta, for something else. The $5 didn't come off automatically when I got this the other day though.

While out walking with the kids today there was an Frosted Flakes box in the street so I picked it up to throw away and it said coupons inside on the box. Laying on the street beside it was a pack of coupons for Kelloggs products. I did not pay attention to the size of the box, but it was clearly marked on the outside that there were coupons. Be on the lookout for those. I don't have them here but one was $1.00 on Kelloggs cereal and one was $1.00 on produce wyb Kelloggs cereal. Plus 3 or 4 more.

The Tuna that I special ordered came in this morning. I did 5 transactions, 30 tuna each, used 10 $1.50 Qs, 2 doublers and threw in a candy bar for the last 4 trans to make the total $0
First Transaction.
30 tuna = $22.50 ( $.75 M&M price)
- $15 ( 10x $1.50 Q)
-$2 doublers
=$5.50 oop got back $6 oyno
Transaction #2-5
30 packs of tuna = $22.50
Reeses candy = $.50
-$15 (10x $1.50Q)
-$2 doublers
-$6 oyno
= $0!! and got $6 oynos
I love it!
Then I took the $6 in cats and got
3 gallons of milk, 2 packs of oreo snac sacs, and 2 packs of oscar meyer hot dogs.
Used 3 doublers, $1/2 oscar meyer Q and 2x $1 off oreos WYB milk. Total was $3.13, used $3 in cats and paid $.13 oop.
So I still have $3 left
WooooooHooooo!

So bummed...no tuna fish left.
But I did score free water ... It was the buy two crystal lights to go and two wheat thins. . . and the wheat thins had $2/1 WYB one Crystal light. So each box was $0.99 and the crystal light was $.99 for one and $2.99 for the other - only had 1 coupon left for it. But I was still tickled with the deal.
The cashier said I could only use two doublers...I had 5 ... each had different numbers and I knew they'd work so asked her to try and sure enough they worked. I wish they'd find some consistency...even though the main ad Qs say limit 2, it's limit THOSE 2. I couldn't try to use two of #1 or two of #2 from the ad. Adding #3, 4, and 5 is still okay because they're not the same.
Or am I off?

Quick q on the tuna - am I right that "only" two packages as stated in the ad ( the tuna light pouch and the white solid can), qualify the MM promo? I saw some tuna light "can" (rather than the pouch), will it also work?
Also, anyone in WA eastside (redmond/bellevue?) successfully convince the cashier to take all 5 doublers (two from ad, three from sunday paper)?
thanks

I'm pretty new to Albertson's and I have a question about the Catalinas. Do they roll? For example, if I bought 30 pouches of tuna and got 6 $1OYNO cats, could I go back, get 30 more pouches, use the 6 $1OYNO cats, and get 6 more to print? TIA!
I got a bunch of the free after M&M and Q Pasta Salads and both orders I had with them in it, I didn't get my M&M savings correct- shorted $5 both times. The customer service lady was rude both times (Fri & Sun) I went to get it straightened out.
The first time, an assistant manager came back and the customer service lady actually argued with her, saying I used Qs, so that's why I didn't get the promo. The assistant manager told her I was correct and told her to give me $5 cash.
Then yesterday, the exact thing happened, but this time I was with DH and the store manager was there. Turns out DH knows the store manager (he was good friends with her son growing up), and she told me that she thought it was the Qs, but nowhere does it say you cannot use them and get the promo. So she told the lady to give us $5, apologized over and over, saying it was "embarrassing" to run a promo and have it not work correctly. She is seriously wonderful and I'm definately going to keep shopping at her store.

Yes, the catalinas will roll. I don't think there's been a promo at Albertsons where the cats don't roll. Fortunately there's no Walgreens mentality here. ;)

Yes they roll and roll and roll :hysterical: that is how we are all getting over 200 pouches :hysterical:and yes you will get 6 more $1.00 oyno Yes these cat's go till July 12th something like that so you have all week to do this and next if they have the tuna deal or you got ton's of rain checks for 30 pouches to make it a good deal for you less out of pocket if you keep just buying 30 at a time like I am doing , if you can find some ,
And same thing happened to me I didn't get 3 of the $5.00 off and I just told him and he took it off for me right there , don't let them get to you just stand your ground if you know you're right like I do now ..

Hi-
I'm a newbie around here and have a question. Is it obvious when the $5 comes off? I find Albies receipts hard to read. My DH and I went to get some deals yesterday and I thought the total may have been a bit high, I saved over $19 according to the receipt but have no clue if they took the $5 off. I used some coupons and doublers so now I'm thinking that could've messed things up?

I'm not sure how it looks on the receipt, but the $5 comes off as soon as 10 participating items are scanned (assuming you have already scanned in your preferred card). So there's no possible way that qs or doublers could impact the $5 promo. Hope that helps!

I couldn't find peelies on the taco shells, pasta salads or tuna cans :(. Who shops in the Roseburg store? I know I saw someone from Roseburg post here :)
There was none of the tuna pouches left but I did find a couple stacks of tearpads so I grabbed about 4 coupons from one.

on your receipt it shows the $5.00 off like if you buy the tuna mine showed I got 3 $5.00 off M & M deal , If it doesn't say that yes it was to high and you might have gotten the wrong items or your stores registers are not working right for this deal , I would go back and tell them ,

I just had to tell you all about my strange trip to Albies today. First I pulled into line behind a woman who as a coupon user but quickly decided she was one of the ones that makes the cashiers cringe. I stood in line behind her waiting to put my stuff on the belt for probably 10 minutes before I just decided to head to the self check right next to the reg I was at.
This woman was throwing products up on top of the end displays when she decided at the last second that she didn't want them. Then tossed some other stuff on the empty cash register next to her. She almost lost her debit card at the register. Made the bagger run back to get her one more of the cereals she had and had her daughter with her who she wasn't really watching and her daughter was eating all the grapes before they could be weighed for price.
But anyways. I saw that my favorite cashier was working the self checkout and knew he wouldn't mind me having coupons that he would have to help with (doublers). But the weird thing was that one of my 75 cent Q's rang thru at $2?!? And some of my Q's were attaching themselves to the wrong products. It was really strange. At my Albies the Q's show up on your receipt with the brand name listed (like Dole etc). One of my Q's for I think the dole fruit cups came up as koolaid. The cashier also had to force thru some of my Q's that should have worked without a problem (I especialy have trouble with the Red Baron any Singles product Q).
Before I walked out you could just see the other cashiers and baggers just irritated with the other lady who ended up having to wait for my fav cashier to finish helping me before he would go fix yet another thing she messed up in her order. The bagger gave me a knowing look (he always chats and picks on me when I am in there) and was trying not to snicker since the woman was still there.
Oh and if anyone ever has a problem getting their Epic Savings $5 to come off just say something before you pay and they have a code they can enter to force it thru. They had to do it for me the first time I went in for the promo (when I got home I found out why, the cashier forgot to ring up one of my easy mac cups). So the code even works when you didn't have enough of the products LOL. I figure all these overages I have gotten the last week or so is making up for the fact that during the buy coke get sausage free the sausage didn't come off like it was supposed to and I never got around to going back later to argue it.

I've been really lucky. After reading all the trouble everyone's been having, I thought I wouldn't find any - and I didn't make my first trip til yesterday (I've hardly done any shopping at all since the big Kraft/doubers blitz earlier this month). OK
I know its super late and this sale is almost over, but anyone who is still willing to run to the store for an awesome deal...here it is!
Cherry/10mile Albies in Meridian.
You need the $1/2 pop tarts coupon for this...don't know which insert it came out of.
I had all of these coupons, and I saw that this particular store had two flavors on clearance for $1 each so I decided to use them with doublers. I was going to buy 10, use five $1/2 coupons and then double three. But then when I rang 10 of them through the $5 came off! They are still part of the buy 10 get $5 off promotion even though they are clearanced! Yahooo!!! So with five coupons and the $5 off, they are FREE without the doublers! This TOTALLY made up for no tuna! YAY!
It is only two flavors (Cookies&Cream and Banana Split 8ct.) and they are at the bottom shelf where all the pop tarts are and they still had a bunch left.
Sorry that I don't know which insert the coupon was from. I hope some of you can find it in time tonight. But even without the coupon they are $0.50 a box after the $5 savings. Also...they have a whole stack of doublers when you come in the door if anyone has other coupons left that are burning a hole in their pocket. :)

The 2 pack is on sale for $1.49 so free with the $1/1 and doubler. They cashier said he couldn't double the coupon to more than the item.

Sorry I have one more super late good deal found. I found one of those little boxes on the shelf that have coupons, but it's not a blinkie. It was for $1/1 John Morrel Sausage. The 2 pack is on sale for $1.49 so free with the $1/1 and doubler. They cashier said he couldn't double the coupon to more than the item.
Wow! Awesome deal! What store was this at?
Reps to you :BigHand: (if I can figure out how to do it...lol...still super new). :)

Oooo...there were a bunch of these at my store today but I didn't see them marked down in price. The Epic Event continues for another week so maybe I will have to price check them. Thanks!
