Jewel Osco No Longer Taking Internet Coupons?!!

I was just at my local Jewel on Eola in Aurora and they wouldn't take my internet coupons! The manager said they stopped taking them at the same time they stopped taking expired coupons because ONE person was using coupons that had been scanned! He said this was at all the Jewel stores. Can any one verify this?

I used IPs at Jewel as recently as Sunday, and they took them without a word.

My store had (and still has) signs on the door about no longer taking expired q's. If the change affected IPs as well as expireds, it seems like they would have included that on the sign.

Nope, no trouble yet. Although my Spanish Ragu got a second glance haha It definitely isn't on the signs!

That's the same thing that the Store Manager at the Lockport store told me back in early May. When I talked to the District Manager he never mentioned Jewel no longer taking IP's. I also had problems with that store taking wine tags with NWPR the last day they were taking expired coupons. I went in to get an exchange and I haven't been in Jewel since then. I was given the impression by a few of the people that worked there that things were going to get even worse. I thought it was only going to be that store but maybe they are slowly making it all across the board.

My Jewels at Howard and McCormick in Evanston takes IP's with no problems. I used it on the Conagra deal.

jewel in lemont isn't a very coupon friendly jewel :( but they take IPs (just this past weekend anyways)

I never had problems with coupons at the Lemont Jewel. I may have had a couple of coupons questioned but they let them go through when I showed they why they were ok. It was usually wine tags. There was one at the service desk that was questioning if I had the right quantity of items for coupons one time but the cashier spoke up for me.

Jewel in Morris won't take IP's since May. Don't know about the one in Minooka or the Joliet ones ad I hardly ever go to those.

I actually self-checked and got a bit confused about when to enter the coupons, and had to go to the service desk to get credit for them, and the staff member there actually asked where I got them, curious, and expressed a desire to use them herself. This was at the Gurnee IL Jewel at the corner of Grand and Hunt Club.

I used IPs at the Eola Jewel (corner with N Aurora Rd) last Wednesday. I asked the cashier before I checked out and she seemed a little unsure, but said it was fine as long as they scanned.

I used a couple of IP's last week at the Wheaton Jewel (Danada) with no problem.

I used 3 at River Forest last night. The checker was young and new and at first told me I couldn't use all 3 because they said "no doubling." LOL. But I smiled and encouraged her to call over the manager, whose name is, no joke, Tequila, and who was very helpful. No one said anything about them being printables.
