i'm hoping to see them on sale for atleast $2 a bag. with the .50/1 2% q's, it would make them $1/5 bags after q's and catalina. they were just on sale for 3/$5 i think last week, and that would make them free after the .50/1 q and catalina :) the cat deal runs for about 3 weeks, so hopefully we get lucky with some great sale prices

I tried this today in Delta Region. I purchased 5 2% singles/slices (2 sharp cheddar and 3 regular 2% slices) and no Cat printed. I know the machine was working, I got my $2 oyno for fabric softener.
Oh well. Maybe this will work during out next ad cycle on Wednesday?

were they the regular slices? from what the op has, the only slices that will work are cracker barrel and the deli fresh slices.

yes those are the blocks of cheese. Publix uses the word chunk on their signs when they are on sale. That's the only way I knew!! I got a mini preview Kroger ad for next week and it has Kroger brand cheese on sale so doesn't look like our $1.99 price is gonna happen this week coming either :sad:

If you're in the mid-atlantic region, then your Kroger should have the cheese on sale! I'm in Richmond and stumbled upon this last night. The sale is small blocks and shred bags are 1.24 each or .99 each WYB 5. I bought 5 and paid $3.96 oop, then a $4.00 catalina printed. Final cost is .19 each!

BTW, I did this a second time and used the $4.00 catalina on the order. Another $4.00 catalina printed.

Holy smokes, what a great sale! I found mine on sale at Vons (a Safeway store, also doing this promotion) for $2.49 and $2.99 for the 7 oz size, and I decided to pounce on it. After figuring my coupons and CAT, the final price was $5 for the 5, and I considered that a super good deal. Of course...I live in Los Angeles, which is ridiculously expensive. My tiny 1 bedroom apt. w/ no central air and occasional giant cockroaches, and where I hear frequent gunshots, is $1150, and my friends are jealous of my "great deal". :hysterical:

Im debating on going back out today, I really dont want to Im tired and Ive wasted a lot of $/gas running around this week and the store is 40 miles away, to use my last 60 qs to make $48.00 in profit and free cheese that we will use.
Or Wait till tomorrow so I can go out and get the playtex gloves that are a $maker and just get the $18.60 money maker for the cheese but not waste time, gas and energy today or feel bad about wasting more time/gas tomorrow...decisions decisions...:giggle2:

i got back $4 catalina.. the cat that i got had no infor about the promo on it....:shrug7:it come out of the machine after she hit the total..slowly

IF i repeat the steps and use 5, 50mfc & $4. cat ...my next trans oop $1.95
for 5 bags of cheese ......you might want to call your food 4 less ?
