Reg price of OM bacon is 5.99 so it will be pretty easy to get to the $40. If you can use as many of the same q as you like you can just get 7 bacon to get over $40, use 7 of the 1/1 qs and it's a $3 MM. Even by just using 4- your shelf total is almost $24 but your oop (as long as you have the 1/1 qs) is only $4.........

It was a tearpad that was out in A&Ps a few weeks ago- had 1/1 cheese, 1/1 crackers and 1/1 bacon/hot dogs/lunchmeat. I got them when they had super doubles and the cheese was $2 so cheese was free. The tearpad has a lasagna on the front of them but they expire June 15 so i doubt you'll find any...sorry.

I am doing the Kraft deal withe Kraft Deluxe and using the .55 coupons on the packages. I found those boxes on an endcap...not in an aisle. I will get 15 of them...spend 6.75 and get back 10. Yay! I will repeat it more times this week if I can.

Imagine my disappointment when I tried but failed at the Kraft deal after work today. The OM bacon REG price is coming up as 1.99 just as pointed out above. I got the Center Cut bacon. I also got the Kraft Deluxe mac and cheese and BEWARE- the 55 cent q, although coded with a 5, DOES NOT DOUBLE. It does not say DND anywhere on it so I guess if you go to a cashier you could argue the point. The q comes up on the receipt as "Kraft InStor" and only 55 cents comes off. Double disappointment..........

On a happier note I believe the Kraft Deluxe is printing $1 oyno for each two you buy. I bought 4 Kraft Deluxe and 5 Center Cut bacon and got the (2) $1oyno so I'm guessing it's the Deluxe but if anyone knows for sure please post. If that's the case then even though the q doesn't double, mrsbonanno, for your 15 Kraft Deluxes you'll spend $15, and get back the $10 Kraft and (7) $1 oyno. Not bad.

It was posted in the Waldbaums forum that this did not work. The OM bacon does not ring up with the reg price of $5.99 and then a $4.00 discount - it rings up as a sale price of $1.99. So, it is only $1.99 that is counting towards the running $40 total. I have seen this a few other times where the item rings at a sale price and not a regular price with discount - having messed me up on other similar occassions. So stock up on your bacon, but add other items to get to the $40.

Also, I don't know how well you'd be able to argue about the coupon not doubling since the circular says -.55 on pkg coupon and does not double it citing $1.00 after coupon.

They have referenced coupons in their circulars in the past and never included the doubled manufacture coupons...even when they do double them. I will try and see. It can't hurt.

UPDATE...I did talk to Customer Service and they credited me for the doubling of the coupons. They couldn't figure out why it didn't double..

Just got back from Waldbaum's - at one store I did just the Kraft original flavor and the $10 cat printed no problem. At the second one, I had a mixture of Kraft original, cheddar cheese, 3 cheese, and Velveeta and the $10 cat did NOT print. I went to courtesy and she insisted it should not print, but...I asked her nicely if she would, just to see, try 15 of the Kraft original and lo and behold the cat printed. She had to call the manager for approval, but she did give it to me.


Oh, as to the not doubling of the coupons, I asked in the first store and the manager said they had gotten a memo that it was specifically not to be doubled.

So just be aware that it may not print for some combinations. I will double post this in the Waldbaum's thread.

My store (Waldbaums) has signs up 'to be aware that the .55 coupon found on the Kraft and Velveta Deluxe will NOT be doubled' - so definitely no getting around it here.

I did the deal succesfully buying a combination of ...

Oscar Mayer Center Cut Bacon - shelf price of $1.99
Oscar Mayer 'Regular' Bacon - shelf price of $1.99
Ritz Crackers Reduced Fat - shelf price of $4.29
Oreos Double Stuff - shelf price of $4.69
Kraft Marshmallows - shelf price of $1.49
Velveeta Deluxe 2% Fat - shelf price of $2.79
Nabisco 100 Calorie Cakesters - shelf price of $3.79

So, Velveeta 2% also works for the Kraft deal and also generates the $1.00 OYNO for each pair.

So, by process of elimination, it seems that the 3-cheese variety is the culprit. I might stop by my friendly W's tomorrow and ask the CS or Mgr to check it out. If I do, I will let you know.
