:BigHand:I am wondering if someone has lists of grocery/household (anything purchasable with coupons)items and their good, better, and best prices they have been purchased for, to share with us newbies. I am finding that I come across what I think is a good deal, spend the money, and then find out from reading different posts on this amazing website that people have spent way less. For example, I recently bought White Cloud big rolls 4-pack TP for $1 good price but found a thread stating to not pay more than .50 cents per 4-roll pack of TP , half of what i payed. Please Help! Any items you can think of would be greatlyl appreciated!

There is no one answer for this. What each person pays has a lot to do with what stores they have, whether or not their store doubles or triples, how many times a week they go shopping and to how many stores, what brands they're willing to use and which brands they're not willing to give on, what brands and sizes are available in their area, how much stockpile they have (the more stockpile the choosier they can be), etc.

There's always someone that can get some cheaper. Even for free items there are people that can find a way to make money on them, not just get them free. The thing to keep in mind is that if you would have paid $3 a package and got them for $1, then that was a GREAT deal. If you find a BETTER later, then you'll stock up more that time.

There are a few price books listed here on Hot Coupon World. I am not sure if that is what your looking for though.

Also you have to decide what is a good price you want to pay. For example the white cloud 4 double rolls for $2 -$1 coupon =$1 I pay IF i can not find another deal. In My Opinion, it is not the worst price for it.

Well, I've never seen a coupon for White Cloud, so some people are getting them cheaper by using coupons on other brands of tissue and waiting on store coupons they can stack on, like Walgreen or Lowes Foods or triple coupons.
I've got a Compare Foods store and their store brand 4 pack is 79 cents.

The best deal I ever got on a rather expensive item was Scott paper towels. I've only seen this coupon one time in the 5 years I've been actively couponing, and it came in the mail, so I went to the post office and got all I could find in the trash cans. It was .75/1 roll and we had triples and the sale price was $2.34. You can do the math. .09 a roll and each roll had BTFE, so I traded those for .05 per so I got 93 rolls of expensive paper towels for .04 per. A once in a coupon lifetime deal on paper towels. And a rather multi year supply. I doubt I use one roll a month.
