I was at PnS @ East Pointe and noticed that there were these huge signs all over by the check out lane, "free groceries/groceries on us" thing?

Apparently, they're doing some sort of promotion for this next couple of months. Basically you get "premium(s)" for each $50 you spend in a single transaction and you save your receipts to redeem for giftcards when you have enough points/premiums.

This is what it said on the bottom of my receipt:

FREE FOR ALL PREMIUM(S)
Save this receipt to redeem
You have earned
xx Premium(s)

customer ########

EARN FREE GROCERIES AT THE PICK 'N SAVE FREE FOR ALL!

Earn premiums for every $50 spent in a single order. Save premiums to redeem for a Pick 'N Save gift card.

6 premiums for a $10 gift card
10 premiums for a $20 gift card
15 premiums for a $35 gift card
20 premiums for a $50 gift card

No limit on the amount of free groceries you can earn.

Earn 6/7/09 thru 8/1/09
Redeem anytime 6/7/09 thru 8/8/09

Some restrictions apply
See service counter for details.
I have no idea how to "redeem" so I was trying to go to PnS website but I haven't really found any info on it yet. Or maybe I just haven't looked hard enough.

we are doing the fuel perks promotion here but how that premium thing worked was you had to spend 50 and it doesnt include tax, liquer. cigarettes and sushi. you would get a catalina printout saying how many points you earned and you have to save these and turn them in at the service desk when you reach the level you want.

Yes and if I remember correctly the $$ amount was AFTER coupons so the entire time we had the promotion here, I never got any premiums. At least with the Fuel Perks promotion the $$ amount is BEFORE coupons so I have done quite well with that.

Same here! I have never gotten enough premiums - I'd rather use coupons to lower my OOP. Besides, spending $300 to get $10 is not really that great of a deal, IMO.

Yes!! I love that I can spend only $10, but still get the fuel perks. I never received any of the premiums last year either.
