COMMISSARY: I met a male couponer yesterday!!!

I am so very impressed! I was at the commisary yesterday, and behind me in line was a man with a cart full of Gatorade cases he had ordered. Well when he put the case up on the counter he put 100 coupons on top of it, all neatly trimmed. I was impressed, and asked did your wife send you on an errand? He says no he isn't married, and he coupons all on his own. I was wicked impressed!!! I ended up chatting with him in the parking lot too and we shared tips and exchanged some coupons! Lol needless to say, he gave me his number, and I told him my DH would love to have a couponing buddy to teach him! LOL. It was the coolest thing ever. :BigHand:

That is cool. Funny too. What sort of demographic group did he fit into - young, middle-aged, old? White, black, Asian, Hispanic,...? I think it's even more unusual if he's male, single, AND young. That seems an even rarer breed of grocery coupon shopper. It is a bit rarer, isn't it?

he was young, about 30, and single. He wasn't in uniform so I don't know what rank, but very polite. LOL I don't buy gatorade so I didn't even think of asking about the deal he was getting! But he ordered loads of cases and had 100 coupons!
