Yes you can combine RA coupons with MQ's.
However the colgate that is on sale is for colgate total only, NOT the advanced. The coupons that came in my sunday paper have 1/1 for colgate total ADVANCED, then a .75/1 for a variety to TP including the regular total. So the .75/1 can be used but not the 1/1

Does anyone have a price on pepcid, imodium or bandaids? If you have a $3/2 tearpad, it seems like BOGO bandaids may be nearly free. I was hoping they are included in the J&J rebate, but it doesn't look like they are.
Pepcid and imodium are included, and have a $4 in-ad Q. They're probably still expensive, but might be worth it if you can combine with reach/listerine and $5/25.

There is a $1/1 q for dial bodywash at www.dialsoap.com...which might be a good deal (I was able to print the q twice)...they are BOGO but not sure of the price on these yet though.
The chex mix might also be a good deal with printable q's. Does anyone think the Axe shampoo is a good deal? The regular price at my store is around $6.47 with a $2/1 printable q and a $3 rebate the oop would be about $1.47 +tax each.

I posted that in the "printable coupons" forum. Here are the details:
These are all from coupons.com. Use Zip code 92111 to get the .50/1
and Zip 19543 to get both the $1/1 and $2/1. You can print two each of all three coupons. Decent XP dates, does not say DND or DNT. Coupon(s) are good for (.50, $1, $2) off (1) any Listerine Antiseptic Product 500ml+ or any (1) of the following: (500mL+)Listerine Total Care, Listerine Smart Rinse Anticavity Flouride Rinse, (16oz+) Listerine Whitening Pre Brush Rinse, Listerine Whitening Vibrant White Pre Brush Rinse, Listerine Whitening Quick Dissolving Strips, Reach Toothbrush, Reach Floss.

I've been scratching my head over this one. I don't think the BOGO coupons will work because they are only good on single pack toothbrushes. I don't think the scenerios with the floss will work because the floss is not listed in the J&J rebate. If you think I am wrong, please say so.

So I am new to RA and want to ensure I am doing this 'rite':
Buy:
5 1 litre bottles of Listerine Total Care (love this stuff) @ 5.49 ea = 27.45
Use:
$5/25 Rite Aid Q = 22.45
5 $2/1 MQs from inserts = 12.45
Less:
$10 SCR #40 for Purchase of $25.00 of J&J (Listerine Mouth Wash is listed) = 2.45
$5 SCR #87 for Purchase of 3 of J&J (Listerine Mouth Rinse 1 litre is listed) = 2.55 MM
So is this legit? Can I 'double dip' my purchase of the listerine to get both rebates? If so, it would be a great deal for me as I love the Total Care Listerine.

TenEnt
06-16-2009, 06:09:48 PM
Yes, RA SCR's let you double dip if you have the correct items. So, the Total Care must be only the 1 litre size, and that will qualify for #87 (in fact, it's listed in the 6/21 ad but shows $5.99 as the price). #40, the J&J one, doesn't care what size or kind of Listerine, so you should be okay there. I haven't done the #87 one yet, so I can't speak from personal knowledge, but I did get a 1.5 litre Listerine, and that credited as part of #40.
Maybe someone who's done both deals already can confirm.
Edited to add - #40 (J & J) - doesn't credit the small keychain breath spray, but does credit mouthrinse. Again, I don't think the size of the rinse matters, but I'm only going by what I purchased.

I've called 1800RITEAID (I think that's it...lol) and complained about a problem I had with a cashier and some coupons I wanted to use. I walked out of the store without making a purchase that day and was still steaming when I spoke to customer service. I was told that I would be getting a personal call from the manager within 48 business hours. He called back the very next morning, apologizing profusley and told me to come back in with my coupons. Although I didn't go that same week, I went back for the next week's sale and have been going back ever since with no more problems. The rude clerk that yelled at me about "getting stuff for free" has been as sweet as honey the last few times I saw her:giggle2:.

Thanks everyone....maybe the question could be added to the FAQs. Or is it too complex a scenario to easily state? Perhpas something like this:
Q. Does a product purchase apply to multiple rebates?
A. It can, assuming the purchase is made during the elligible purchase dates for the multiple rebate offers and of course the product must also be an eligible product for the multiple rebates. This is sometimes referred to 'double dipping'.
You could add the following illustration to the FAQ to help clarify:
For example, let's assume there is a Johnson & Johnson month long Rebate of $10 when you buy $25 worth of J&J products including Listerine Mouthwash 1 litre or larger. Let's also assume during that month there is also a rebate of $5 when you purchase three Listerine products. If you bought 5 1-litre bottles of Listerine mouthwash for $5 a piece during the rebate period, you'd qualify for both rebates.
I've done this and got back both rebates.

Here's a Scenario:
2 Reach Floss @2.99=$5.98
2 Reach Brush @ 2.99= $5.98
2 Listerine Smart Rinse or Agent Blue @ 3.79= $7.58
2 Listerine @ $3.99=$7.98

Use:
1-$5/25 RA IP
2-$5/3 Listerine/Reach Insert Q's
2-$2/1 Listerine IP (in DB)- use for Smart Rinse/Cool Blue

:BigHand:So I just came back from Rite aid and did the scenario I posted above! Thanks Much... I knew I was going to have a problem when the cashier asked to see all my coupons in my hand before ringing up my items. She said sorry I can only use 1 IP. ???? I asked why? she said thats the rules. So I politely asked for a copy of there coupon policy She left the register and came back and said I can try them but they are going to beep and then I wont accept either one. I said that is fine I will take my chances. Well to her surprise no beep. All the Q's went through with no beeps, so over a $6 mm for me after rebates. Pretty happy for my first try @ Rite Aid!
Forgot to add she questioned where I got my $5/3 Qs. Like it was fake or something. I just said the newspaper.

Now that summer's here, and I have more time to get back in my game...no school or work, I can't wait to try some of these deals before they're all gone! Thanks everyone for your hard work and for posting the deals!

:bump93::BigHand:So I just came back from Rite aid and did the scenario I posted above!
Good work! I've had one cashier at CVS tell me they don't take coupons from "that website." I told him the IPs were from the vendor since it had the watermark on the back. He said he would try scanning it and it went through... surprise. :rolleyes24: It doesn't hurt to challenge the self-appointed coupon police. Since all the cashiers at my Rite Aid have been really friendly, I'm focusing more on their deals and going to CVS less. I actually skipped it last week... gasp! :giggle2:

To confirm....I got credited for both rebates on the SCR site today.

Looking for help please!!
I went to Rite Aid tonight wanting to do the Listerine double dip (#40, 87) with the $5/$25. Of course they only had three, screwing up my plan, so I bought those and three John Frieda Root Awakening. I need to go to a different RA tomorrow for the other 2 Listerines and I have another $5/$25 I would like to try to use if the price is right.
I just jumped back in to RA tonight, so I'm not totally in the loop yet. Are there some other deals I am missing this week? I feel like there has to be more...

this week is lame.
only thing I got was the 2.99 reach toothbrushes for SCR 87 (I did not double dip because I had already used up SCR #40)........and used 2/1 coupons. That was my extent of RA shopping this week.

The Visine AC works towards #40. Pair the $3 MQ with $2 in-ad Q. The register didn't beep, so it's good. And you don't have to fulfill the entire $25 this week. There's Aveeno coming up that would make this a triple dip!
