Hey just looking at my Tom Thumb ad and wondering if anyone has come up with some good scenarios.

I will probably do this (prices are with $5 reward already added in):
4 Treetop apple juices $1.49/ea.--use $1/2 MQ (5/17 SS)
1 Lean Pocket $1.49--use .50/1 MQ (5/17 SS)
2 Velveeta Shells and Cheese cups $.75/ea---use $1/2 MQ
3 Banquet Brown and Serve Sausage $.49/ea.

Total $6.91 after coupons. Not bad, but just wondering if anyone else has better suggestions! Thanks.

caprisun sunrise, when you buy 10, if you have 10 $1.00 coupons from 4-19 SS, they turn out to be .49 a piece. the Marie Callenders Pasta Al Dente are 1.99 when you buy them in multiples of 5. use 5-17 SS coupon to make them .99. my family loves the one with sausage and one without meat. not crazy about the chicken and shrimp ones.

I was only able to find 1 box of Capri Sunrise. When I asked the someone who worked there, did they have any in the back, they told me that the sunrise were being discontinued. The manager was standing right there and pretty much agreed with the worker. I thought the sunrise was a new, has anyone else heard this?

Seems to me that might be right, I have had a hard time finding any in the Houston area.

I found lots at the Copperfield Randall's. The box says "new", so I doubt they are discontinuing it already.

There was alot of caprisun at the Randalls on Hwy6/529, I had 20 items and it only took off $5 instead of $10. I went to CS and the girl was really rude saying that it was only 10 items per transaction(to get the $5 off) she said that she had talked to the catalina company and that there was a mistake blah blah, she didn't want to give me $5 back but finally did because another worker told her that she had to give it to me. Has anyone had a problem with purchasing more than 10 items in 1 transaction.

Okay, I am confused on this deal. If the plates are $1.99, shouldnt they be free with the $2/1 mq's? Could you break it down for me? Sorry...but a little confused and I would looooove to do this deal! I always need plates.

Also how many plates were in the package?

TIA:wavehi:

TIA

oops!! i meant 2.99!! and they were 36 ct.

2.99 x 10 = 29.90
29.90 - 5.00 = 24.90
24.90 - 20.00 (10 mq's) = 4.90
4.90 - 1.50 (randall's q) = 3.40

HTH!! Sorry about the confusion :wink7:

I got:

4 Chinet lunch plates (36 ct), 2.99 - $2 mq
6 Del monte veg, $1.25 ea (couldn't get the q's to print, said I had reached my limit, even though I'd never printed from their site)
2 Duracell AA batteries, 4 pack, $2.50 - .75 mq
(prices are after mega deal $5.00 off)

Eggs were on clearance in the back for .75/dozen, and a large bag of string cheese sticks was $2.50.

Plus, on the clearance shelves in front I found Ronzoni Smart Taste spaghetti $1.07, I had purchased 10 mq's from coupon clippers - $1.00/2, so they were 54 cents a box! (Usually $1.65) My kids won't eat regular spaghetti anymore, now that they've eaten smart taste.

Corn-kits corn bread mix clearance .34 a pouch (about half off).

I bought 2 cans of fried onion rings, they had $1.00 ONYO when you buy one, combined that with two .75 mq.
