I don't normally get the newspaper, but it is my understanding that there is some kind of coupons in there that lets you double a coupon. Is it only one coupon doubled per coupon, so a total of 2 coupons doubled? Also, what's the max they will double? Hope my questions are clear. Thanks so much!

Doubles each double one coupon, and three doubles come per flyer (at least, that's how it has been so far). So you can double a max of 3 mq per transaction. Some stores let you do back to back transactions, others might not. I bring my fiance so we can both do a transaction, and use 6 doublers between us. If you have kids and/or other family/friends, bring them so you don't have to go to the store multiple times.

Does that make sense? Hopefully :)

The doublers are in the store ad's. Sometimes the regular store ad and sometimes a specail ad that is only available in the Sunday paper. They have been doing them quite often lateley and usually the rules are as follows (with some small variations from time to time):

Only 3 doublers can be used per shopping trip.
Coupon will double a MQ up to $1
Any MQ over $1 is not subject to doubling
Must have the Doubler Store Q to double (unlike some chains that double automatically).

If I have a coupon that is greater than $1, my store doubles $1 of it. In other words, a $2 coupon becomes worth $3 off.

My store won't do this. The "legal lingo" of the doubler coupons states "Coupons valued at $1.01 or higher are not eligible for doubling." My store is also sticking to the "Three double coupons per family per shopping trip." Oh, well. It's still an awesome deal.

FYI - I tried to use three $1 coupons with doublers on items that were less than $2 each and because the total would have gone negative, the checker would only do two of the coupons. She said they have now required her to sign something saying she would only process the coupon for the exact amount, and if the total is negative she couldn't allow the customer to use all of the coupons. In the past, at my store they would adjust the coupon down up to the cost of the item. So if they are doing this at your stores, make sure to include a filler.
