Okay, folks, first a bit of a brag...I was able to get 6 boxes of MiniWheats, 2 bags of Sunchips, and 2 Wholly Salsas for $6.48 tonight! Woot! (Btw, I'm in Oshkosh, so my flier is a week ahead of southern WI).
But here's my dilemma:
For the Wholly salsas I used (2) $1/1q's which were doubled, and then I used (2) Free chips wyb 2 Wholly Salsa products q's (up to $3), but when the cashier scanned the chips q, the computer beeped and actually said the reason was "Too Many Coupons." I have never seen that error before, and I've piggy-backed many a coupon at PnS. Usually it's just been some vague "Item Not There" or something to that affect. Well, the cashier agreed that I had 2 separate coupons for 2 separate items, so she entered them manually.
Soooooo, did I do something wrong? Is it actually illegal to combine BOGO q's and $$ q's? Or have the manufacturers just gotten wise to our methods and programmed the coupons differently now? I don't want to do it in the future if it's not supposed to be done. Any help or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!
