I just realized from looking at my receipts that the gas rewards use the price before coupons and preferred savings to tally up toward the $50 Gas Rewards purchase. I was wondering how I have gotten so many .05 off per gallon in the past couple of months when I really don't spend very much out of pocket at Albertson's. On the front of this weeks Albertsons ad, on the very bottom, are 3 coupons for doubling. Some stores will have extra ads by customer service.

On the saltines, it is probably because the wrong size got marked in the ad/perhaps in the system. In the ad, it lists the 32oz size as being included. Our store has a sign up that changes it to the 16 oz size. (at the front of the store- NOT on the shelves, where people actually see it)

I have found with other promotions that the order of scanning makes a difference. Because it is $3 off every $10 you must scan items in such a way as to reach 10 evenly.:rolleyes24: So, if you happened to scan 3 salad dressings then 3 beans you would reach 10.50 and get a $3 promo but then you are left with only 9.50 toward the next $10 goal, so, no $3 :sad: even tho you have $20 total. This has happened to me more than once, so now I am careful to have my items scanned so they reach even multiples of $10 to get the promo without a hassle. HTH

If you have a problem with the system not taking the $3 off on the promo, tell your checker to put in the Acosta promo code out of the white binder they have I believe the code is 99452 I have been getting the promo to come off about half the time. I did about 40 Tranactions last night and about 30 tonight and the checker had to put it in manually many times.

There are two coupons in recent inserts (check the database for dates) one is for .75/1 Edge and one is for .75/1 Skintimate. Both result in free shaving cream, went and used my last few coupons last night. Lots of shaving cream around here, great for kids craft projects.

I got some of the Pepperidge farm Goldfish; Flavor Blasted bags today. They are on sale for $1.25 each, many have $1/2 peelies that can be doubled, so they end up being $0.25 each, and you can get 6 at a time with the doublers. That's a cheap and easy camping snack, yum:BigHand:

I'm not sure it's worth it because those items don't appear to be on sale. The best you can do is full price - MQ's doubled. The MQ's I have aren't very good, they are only .25/1.

Actually they are....the Tide is $7.00 off and I'm not sure what the Bounce is on sale for but what my thinking is I needed Tide and Bounce and had $1.00 on one's for both...Sure my oop was high the first time but I'm thinking if I can roll it....It becomes even better...

I bought 2 cannisters and two to go boxes (skin essentials) and it came off. I wasn't expecting it to come off so I had other items with me (I was doing multiples). When it came off I stopped and changed my deals around an the spot. (I was in the self check out). I'm not sure which ones are a part of this promo, and they aren't marked.

Speaking of which, did you notice the add says to M&M over 625 items, but there aren't 625 items listed. I just figured that was because of so many different flavors or varieties of each item....?

Thank you for making me take a second look at this. By itself, it didn't give me warm fuzzies but.....

Combined with the second transaction it did wonders for me.

I bought 2 tides. Oz for oz with my cheezy .35/1 MQ's doubled it matched Costco. Don't groan, Costco is my stand by since I've only been doing this for 6 weeks. But given the $7 kick back it was way ahead. Add the gas savings and that helped too.

So when I was checking out today a couple cashiers were talking and well I included myself because they were talking about the doubles.:whistle67: There was a email sent out I guess saying they are not to double any coupons that state "DO NOT DOUBLE" I was bummed because I was just told 2 days ago that they would...oh well not to big a deal. And then they said they cant double any coupon over $1 I already thought that was the rule but they said they had been doing it. They were saying how they just keep making it more and more difficult for the shoppers. I of course agreed!

The easy mac and the velveta that comes in the same looking package are both $1 this week so free with the $1/2 IP. I bought 6 and used 3 $1/2 and then 3 doublers. The cashier couldn't use the last doubler because it was already at $0.00. One of the easy macs came off free with some promotion. ANyone know about this? maybe it's buy 5, get one free or could be less.

Also, the planter cocktail nuts are still $2 so free if you have $1/1 IP's left. And I think the goldfish are a good deal at $1.25 each and use the $1/2 peelie with a doubler. Makes them $0.25 each.
