Today as I was walking out of CUB checking my recipt (as I always do) and this time when I was looking at the number of coupons used (I ALWAYS double check) it said:
Manufacturer's coupons (I'm use to seeing this) 12 $14.24
Store/Dbl/Triple coupons (never seen this B4) 1 $5.00

Now what is this "store/dbl/triple" ?? I know my coupon didn't double it was the $5 coupon for kelloggs cereal. But does this mean that cub doubles and or triples coupons?? I've never heard anything about them doing that but I just thought it was really odd that that is what it said for store coupons.

Anyone know?:shrug7:
Thanks

I've had that happen to me before when they manually have to enter a rain check discount or maybe there was a unique deal that they keyed in.

The first time I saw that on my receipt, I was thinking that they may be starting up a new program... but what I've discovered is that the capability has been there and this is just a category that they use occasionally to get a discount to 'take'.

Do you remember if they had to manually enter the Kellogg's Q?

I think it's a catchall category -- so it means store OR double OR triple coupons. And since they don't double or triple coupons, it must be a store coupon that you used.

Yes it was a store coupon that I used but again, I have never seen that before. I think cloudnine might be right because the lady did have to hand key one coupon in so maybe thats just what happens.
Too bad though, I was getting excited, lol :-)

I posted about this a month ago (the post is further down). I guess some supervalu owned stores do actually double. would assume it is cost saving to have all their stores print out the same OR I'm with you on hoping for the possibility of getting doubles. :BigHand:
