Usually I have a really good experience at my commissary. My SO contact is excellent and I have most of the cashiers trained on overage. Recently, I'd say the past two months or so, I've been having a horrible problem with one cashier. She's been at the commissary for as long as I've been doing this, so I'm not sure what the issue is.
She doesn't do anything "wrong" so to speak, but she's very picky about my coupons and will even muscle in on another person who is cashing me out to be nosy and pick through things. She also plays dumb about overage. If she scans an overage coupon she says the "register isn't taking it" and will get the other head cashier who ALWAYS tells her to override it.
At the end of last month I ordered in a case of the Marcal single roll TP. It didn't come in until 4/30, so I had to rush in to buy it. My bad luck was that the packaging was the old type, so my cashier (not my nemesis) said it wasn't the same. Then nemesis comes over and says I can't use the coupons. I explained that Marcal was changing the packages, but the UPCs would be the same, so it was the same product, but didn't push it and told them I didn't want it.
Well, I contact my SO person and explained the problem and that I needed confirmation that the Marcal Small Steps and old Marcal had the same UPC.
She wrote back today saying the spoke to the cashier and the cashier said, "the coupon wouldn't scan" and that's why I couldn't use them!! Total bull. She never even TRIED to scan it!
I've used them through the SCO before, so I guess for the next few days I'll have to use them that way and get what I can. I have 90 coupons to use. I bet I'll only get 10-20 rolls now.
I just hate that she's lying like that. I don't know what her deal is, but it makes me insane.
Needed to vent. She has me on edge every time I shop now because I'm afraid she's going to mess with me.
