Okay, so I got frustrated with this whole Smiths thing. We only have 2 chain grocery stores in town and Albies is really good about getting their ads out early for us, and Smiths - not so much. So I sent them an email and here is their reply. (my original email is attached there at the bottom) So maybe they will start posting their ad a little early and give us a heads up.... :BigHand:

Thank you for contacting Smith Food and Drugs. I will forward your comments onto the advertising department about getting the ads out on Sunday, prior to the Wednesday they come out. Your business is appreciated.

HELP! I am an avid couponer and ad watcher! I have been a customer of yours in the past, but am finding it difficult to continue when your ads are not available prior to their effective date. Albertsons ads are available a few days early and I and my fellow couponers, are able to find coupons to match up to their sales and do more of our shopping with them. Because there is no notice prior to your sales, coupons cannot be located in time and we are stocking up with your competitors. Please make your ads available. If they were available on Sunday, prior to the Wednesday they came out - that would be ideal. Thank you very much! I hope to do more shopping with you in the future!

The ads are available early for Albies because someone gets them. Not because Albertsons releases them early. I don't think that Smith's will release them early. I get mine Tuesday afternoon in the newspaper. My DH delivers at Smith's and occasionally he can get a copy of the ad from the manager on Monday. But he has to be delivering on that day AND remember to ask. Its rare that it happens. The cashiers all tell me that they don't see the ad till it comes out.
