Be careful if you use Grill Mates & the .75 McCormick q's in the same transaction... it doesn't work with doubling b/c theyr'e the same brand... I wound up paying $1 instead of getting all 4 of my items for free b/c the .50 q's doubled first and then the .75 only rounded up to .80 for some reason... oh well :)

There is a Silk Soy milk coupon in the 3/22 SS for $1.00 that will make it free.
Do all KK's double $1.00? I don't shop there because I live in CT, but I am going to get my Wantaugh, NY Aunt started on couponing. Just curious. Her ad says double $1.00's. That's something us CT couponers would die for! Lucky you guys!!!!!

Thanks for pointing that out. Maybe the .50 Q's attached to the higher priced items and then the .75 Q's attached to the 5/$4 ones which would make sense as to why they only rounded up to .80 each. I hate when my total is off from what I calculated. I guess it's a good thing I used all my .75 Q's last week at Waldbaum's. I'll just get some free marinades when I finally make it there today. Thanks also for the Kraft BBQ sauce match-up. I totally missed that one. It's nice to see some posts in King Kullen forum.

Yes, all KK double $1, but I find the regular prices to be high. I don't usually buy anything there without a coupon. Have fun!
Thanks for posting the deals, I've been bypassing the ad lately.

Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats $.50 with 4/5 RP $1.00 coupon
B&G Relish $.29 with 3/22 SS $.35 coupon
Pop Tarts $1.00 each with 4/5 RP $1.00/2 coupon
Spray & Wash $1.00 each with 5/3 SS $.50/1 or $1.00/2 coupon
Melitta coffee filters FREE with 3/1 SS $1.00 coupon (I'm assuming they adjust coupon down). Price each is $1.50. $1.00 coupon doubled to $1.50? Please let me know what they do.
Funny, I haven't been in a King Kullen in at least 15 years (grew up in Long Island) with no plans to ever step foot in one again (unless I'm visiting my aunt of course). Deals seem good so far, but not good enough for a 1 1/2 hour drive.

Just took a look at another thread on this forum and saw:
They are fanatically rigid - 2 like and 5 coupons period! Not just the dollar coupons or doubles. And the cashiers are super vigilant and will even alert the head cashier that they recognize you. Their hours are short and there aren't many cashiers per store. The best you can do here is to go from one store to another. It's really not worth it. It'd be great to be able to fly under their radar
Is that the norm for King Kullen or just some?

I think It depends on cashier. Lots of cashiers just scan my coupons even if they are DND or DNT.
As for me I really hate KK lol but I have to shop here just cause they double $1 coupons. that's true they double only 5 $1 coupons per one transaction and allow to include only 2 IP. So I usually do 6 or 8 transactions per visit. Once I stopped at another KK and tried to do 2 separate transactions at one register and the cashier didn't allow me it , she stated KK's policy allows 1 transaction with double coupons per 24 hours. Stupid policy!!!

The Silk $1 coup won't double. Milk coupons dont' double, read the rule poster.
Yeah, that only 5 dollar coups per order is awful.

I took a look at the faq here in this forum, and it doesn't mention it. I'm guessing you are talking about a poster displayed at the store. I am 1 1/2 hours away from any King Kullen and just trying to put together a "deal envelope" for my aunt. I missed this week, but will try for next. When I read the post about 5 doubles and 2 like coupons I thought that meant 5 coupons max period. So if I get this right, 5 coupons can be dollar doubles, and no limit on doubles up to $.99. Still not too bad because the stores in my area in CT only double to $.99 normally and allow 3-4 double dollars on special promotion weeks.
Thanks!

I emailed King Kullen and thought I'd share the response. Not a horrible policy at all. I can work with it. Thanks for all of your responses.
A maximum of (5) $1.00 off coupons per customer/per 24-hour period will be doubled.
All coupons valued at .99 cents or less will be doubled according to the following guidelines:
1. Items must meet Purchase Requirements specified on coupon.
2. Maximum of two coupons will be doubled on any individual coupon per day, per customer. For example, if you have three Ragu coupons, two will be doubled, one will not regardless of flavor or variety purchased.
3. Does not apply to free coupons or coupons marked "Do Not Double".
4. Doesn't not apply to coupons in excess of $1.00
5. Does not apply to other competitor's store coupons.
6. Does not apply to Catalina or King Kullen coupons.
7. No Substitutions.
8. Does not apply to cigarettes, milk, tax, beer or bottle deposit.
9. The total may not exceed the price of the item. For example, if an item is priced at forty-five cents and a twenty-five cent coupon is presented, the item is free. No further discount will be given.

KK will double up to 5 $1.00 coupons per order, and only 2 of any price per item, unlimited under $1.00 will be doubled, as long as there are only 2 per item. I know it's confusing... What I've seen people do is buy the initial double dollar, double items, go to their car and unload items, then return to the store and get more...It's a hassle, but worth it if you have the patience for it.

Some KK's are stricter than others. My KK is on my way in and out of my neighborhood. So, stopping in once a day is not unlike me if I need to. My KK allows 2 of each IP - max of 5 IPs per order. Policy is posted at each register. I rarely do more than one order in a 'trip' since it is so easy for me to go every day. However, when I do more than 1 order in one trip I go to different registers.

They double milk coupons at my KK - I have used the Over the Moon Milk $1.00/1 coupons multiple times and it has always been doubled.

Try SmartSource: Coupons | Online Coupons (http://coupons2.smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=5S2ZUA6PWPEPO)
I found it on the 4th page. Top right hand corner if it's in the same sequence for you. Did not enter a zipcode.

Thank you, repped you!! Another question, went to buy one Triscuit and one wheat thin today and they would not let me use 2 $1.00 OFF coupons. They said they have a sign posted somewhere in the store about same products, but I couldn't find it. Is this right???

Based on the policy that corporate emailed me (posted earlier in this thread) I would say no, you should have been able to. I would have asked to see the sign :shrug7:. Maybe a "Real" KK shopper can back this up.

I've done 3 transactions this week and each one had a box of Wheat Thins and a box of Triscuits and I used a $1 IP for each without any problems.

I did this also this week. I'm having a combination college grad/high school graduation party next weekend, so I was trying to stock up on these. Went twice to KK and brought one of each, no problem. I just want to print something and show them because she went up to the office and asked and they said no.

I'd give it another try tomorrow. Definitely find a different cashier. I know in the stores near me in CT the high school cashiers are more apt to just take your coupons and not give you a hard time.

Was this the Valley Stream store by any chance? They did this to me and absolutely refused me to do two separate transactions. So I left my cart there and walked out. I asked them "you'd rather lose out on a sale than have me do two different transactions?" Yes, they would. I was furious.

I understand, but their corporate policy does state 5 double $1.00's per 24 hour period. The cashier was only doing as he/she were told.

My second order, only half the items had coupons. I had milk, formula, diapers (no corresponding coupons) - which they refused to sell me.

Some stores are a little more lenient with their policies. Regardless what percent of your second order had coupons, I'm guessing you had at least 1 $1.00 coupon or you wouldn't have split your order and that would have gone against their policy.
The thing that gets me upset is when a cashier isn't trained or doesn't understand their policy. Today I had one (in a different store) that told me it's 4 double coupons period. They have a sign displayed in the store that states 4 identical coupons doubled per day which means I can use as many as I want, just not more then 4 per the same coupon. It was pretty simple to straighten out though.
