question re the kraft bbq cats... i know the one cat goes until wednesday, does anyone have info on when the other cat promo ends? thanks :) i promise to rep!

According to this info in the Kroger forum,

Purchase dates
Buy Kraft BBQ sauce 18oz.+ between 5/1-5/24

Buy 4 get $2 or
Buy 5 get $2.50 or
Buy 6 or more get $3 coupon off your next shopping order.

I'm assuming this cat deal will last until then - not sure if the price of the bbq sauce will be bogo like it is this week.

$2.24 x 5 = $11.20
.75 x 5 (doubled) - $9
$2.20 oop and if you roll the cat, you get a .30 profit

So, it would still be a good deal, just not as good as this week LOL

Hate to be Mrs Math, but 5 of the 75c Q's doubled are $7.50 not $9. Still a great deal in my opinion as now I get to have my pulled pork tomorrow (from the pork tenderloin that was $1.99lb a couple of weeks back).
So for 5 it would be $3.70 after Q's and you get a $2 and a $2.50 OYNO.

I only went boring and got original and honey types. But if you bought 5 I'd go to the CS desk over it since you obviously hit the money amount! People leave those OYNO Q's all the time, my store has a trash can full it seems and they pull them out and give them when they don't print.

I liked your math so much better than mine... but with mine assuming the two cats it becomes an 80c profit!

But, with the current ad, there's a dealy bob that has an 'extra' cat of $2! I bought 10 of the %more regular, 5 of the %more honey, and 3 of the extra something regular and 2 extra something honey. I got $2.50 cat and the weekly $2 for each order.

Yep, that's what makes it so nice. I wound up with 37 q's this week. I bought 20 papers - the rest were from 2 friends at stores that gave me their leftover q's - one from Saturday and one from Sunday - and 3 from my sister and a friend. I only bought 28 pudding/jello though.

My free supply was low last night. I ended up with 14 smartsource but only two had the coupons. I couldn't believe it. :hectic1: I'm used to Redplum varying greatly from region to region, but not so much with SS. You win some you lose some. Besides that my younger son questioned why I'd want to buy Kraft BBQ since we have become huge fans of Sweet Baby Ray's. Said son has been known to even put it on peanut butter sandwiches.:sick77:

Since GE makes their bogo's 1/2 price (not one full price and the other $0), you only need 5 to trip the $2 and $2.50 cats. There's a double dip this week for the kraft bbq sauce - so, buy 5 and make $4.50 profit (if you have the $.75/1 q's) or buy 5 and $1.12 each ($11.xx shelf) and pay $5.60 and get 4.50 in cats - when you roll, you'll only be paying $1.10 for 5 bottles.

I was surprised too - I knew the trib and observer reporter didn't get the colgate-palmolive q's - I didn't realize the observer reporter didn't get the Kraft q's also (the trib did have them) Needless to say, I didn't bother buying any observer reporters to get the RP this week.

Not sure why, but when I went today, my coupons were doubling to the full value - $1.50. I ended up going negative, so he just took coupons off until I owed very little (and gave the q's back). I was shocked.

Ok, I am beyond the point of confused. I picked up 5 Kraft BBQ sauces and did not get a single cat.
My receipt says BBQ sauce 1.78
BBQ sauce 0.89-
(repeated 5 times).

When I went to CS, she said I didn't get the cat from the ad b/c I wasn't over the $10 mark - so I guess she is right there (b/c it would have only been 8.90). But what happened to my Kraft cat and who can I call to get it back?? I thought I read through this thread of folks just buying the 5 sauces and having a $0 balance and getting both cats??? HELP! I want my money back! Not that 3.21 is a bad deal for 5 BBQ sauces and a bag of cheese curls (little one and i needed a snack!).

I just bought 5 bottles @ 2 hours ago - My q's only doubled to the price of the bbq sauce (not $1.50) and, I got both cats. I also bought old el paso seasoning and 2 ziploc - paid with a $2 and $1.25 cat - and $2.21 in cash - got $3 oynmo, $2 and $2.50 cat for the bbq sauce and $1.25 for the ziploc.

Did you get the wrong kind. I just looked at my new receipt (just did the deal again) and my bbq sauce says

I got a mixture of the brown sugar regular size and the 55% more.

Yes, I also bought five, honey and original with the extra 55%, and didn't get the $2 cat. I did get the $2.50 one though. I went to customer service and we talked about it and I asked if she was sure $1.78 was regular price and Pittsburgh Girls told me it was $2.25. LOL She seemed to understand my plight and said she would be happy to do a return, but I decided to just skip the return since I paid $.89 for five, only had 4 coupons and got the $2.50. Had I returned it, would have then had to find a store where the regular price was more or I guess bought an additional bottle and it just wasn't worth doing so tonight.

If you throw in another bbq sauce or just throw in a koolaid burst, you should still be able to get the 2 cats.

But, you will probably make out better if you get the bbq sauce after today.

Yep, I always look before I buy the observer. The only time I've found it worth it to buy a whole bunch of the papers was when the unilever insert was in there - they gave all the coupons and the same value

I called and I have a cat for $2.50 coming my way! I know it's only $2.50, but it's my $2.50! So, I got 5 bonus sized BBQ sauces and a bag of cheesies for 3.xx and then a cat for $2.50. I am very pleased with that!

That's awesome! I called about 3 colgates cats that I didn't get and they had to research it. A few days later 1 cat came in the mail but it was expired. I called back again and was like :rolleyes24:. The lady again said they had to research it and a few days later I got 5 $3 cats in the mail. I didn't call back again after that.:giggle2::giggle2:
