New to A&P cherry picking here :wavehi: I went this am and bought 80 Breyer's Yo Crunch in 5 orders of 16 each with 4 .50/1 Qs on each order. Each order spit out a $3 Bonus Bucks coupon! I had no idea about the Bonus Bucks.. they are NOT in the ad, and I hadn't heard of the program, so this makes the yogurt a moneymaker! They expire 5/23.
Now please tell me more about these Bonus Bucks... can I use them all in one order if the order after Qs totals $15 or more? Does A&P have a policy like Wags where the number of Qs cannot outnumber the number of items purchased... ie if I buy 15 items at $2 each and have 15 Qs for $1 off each, can I still use the $15 in Bonus Bucks to pay the balance or do I need "fillers" to make the number of items equal or exceed the number of Qs plus Bonus Bucks Qs?
THANKS!
Donna :smile77:
p.s. BTW, that first bakery aisle in the store is deadly. OMG, the scent nearly did me in, and then I saw the focaccia bread... sigh. Then I remembered I might have to go out in public in a bathing suit this summer.. :hysterical:

The Breyers is part of the Bonus Bucks Acosta deal this week- buy $15 and get $3 oyno. A&P generally goes by regular shelf prices, not sale prices for the toal $ you have to purchase so I'm guessing the yogurts are regularly 99 cents/each. Nice! But, seriously, I do NOT need more yogurt right now:rolleyes24:...but I will have to do a moneymaking deal:BigHand:.
In answer to your questions- I have always been able to use several oyno cats in one transaction. I'm petty sure it's not like Wags with # of qs having to equal or be less than # of products- just did it the other day for double dollars with qs for every item and oyno cats from Poland Spring and Ziploc.

Oh, and Donna, I guarantee you if they do triple coupons or double dollars AND the Bonus Bucks at the same time, you will become a more frequent A&P shopper- that is the BEST! It's happened before with triples and BBs at the same time, so here's hoping especially since Bonus Bucks are going on for 6 weeks!

Can I be a PEST? :wink7: Is there a place to see a list of all the Bonus Bucks in one place or is a surprise sort of thing? Also, do tell about these "double dollars"... I haven't heard a peep on that one.
I shop SR for EDLP and because mine also takes very expired Qs. I cherry pick Acme and Wags... maybe CVS in a great week. A&P is really out of my way, but now that gas is staying around $2 gal here, I may just add A&P to my cherry picking list, especially since they have the self checkouts. I have noticed that while A&P does have some really nice quality on fresh produce and a tempting bakery, the everyday prices are a little crazy for my area.

The list of the bonus Bucks, to my experience does not exist, except for all the posts there. if i am wrong, please correct me. it is in every week's circular. i particularly like these because they are include things that normally don't get coupons. in my case it is chocolate double stuff oreos.:wink7:
"double dollars" ended yesterday (one week only). this was a first time for me and it was a blast! think of super doubles at Kmart with 5 $1 Q limit per transaction. most stores will not allow back to back transactions. some do.
Self checkouts are nice, but only one of my stores has it and they watch it worse than the regular checkout. in that store i never do self checkout.
My A&P also has very hight prices, but cherry picking there is a pleasure.:BigHand:

I would checkout the Superfresh forums for deals at A&P too. It appears it is practically the same circular specials and catalina deals. When they have triples, so does A&P. It appears Pathmark, waldbaums, superfresh and A&P are linked together somehow because the monthly books are good at all of those places. But I know that A&P and pathmark sales are different.
Yeah you have to watch those SCO lanes. Some places have hawks. I swear I think they get a kick out of it. But other places are very easy.

I decided to try the Kelloggs deal and I got a surprise. I bought 11 Poptarts and 1 Raisin Bran (total at regular prices $31.xx) and got two free star trek movie tickets and the $7 off!

HI!
Can I bother you to explain this one to me?
I see in the ad that breyers is 10 for $4, so .40 each.
16 x .40 = 6.4.
6.4 - 2 in coupons (.50/4) = 4.4
total = 4.4, get $3
I don't see how this is moneymaker, or even free. I am thinking I missing something. Sorry, but can you look at your receipt and let me know? Thanks!!!!!!!

Katy, I posted in a separate thread about buying 10 kelloggs products and get 2 free star trek movie tickets but the cat I received said the promotion starts 5/15 so I guess it actually started earlier. Btw, it says the tickets are good for any movie and not just Star Trek.

She used (4) .50/4 coupons and they double so the math goes like this:
16 x .40 = $6.4.
$6.4 - $4 in coupons (.50/4 doubled x 4) = 2.4
total = $2.4, get $3 = -.60 MM

I've done the YoCrunch deal twice and both times I've gotten several additional cat qs for the YoCrunch. even though they're for XX/10 yogurts or xx/12, they're helpful when trying to do this deal several times. My 1st transaction I bought 16 and used (4) .50/4 qs and one 25 cent store q so I paid $2.15 and got my $3 cat. My next transaction I used one .50/4 insert q, one .75/4 cat q received in previous transaction, one 1.25/8 cat q received in previous transaction, one 25 cent store q and the $3 oyno- paid 15 cents and got my $3 cat. I still have 2 insert qs so I can do this deal 2 more times using the cat qs I got- yay!
BTW- my yogurt expiration dates are June 20-27 so stocking up will work for me.

I did this one 9 times.. so far. And yes, they are vanishing.. LOL. I have 2 more orders to do tomorrow (for my oldest son who doesn't live at home anymore, but appreciates free food). I also have an A&P YoCrunch cat RAOK listed in the RAOK folder if anyone needs the $1.25/15... I have lots of them and no use for them. I bought 80 .50/4 Qs on ebay dirt cheap when they first came out in the papers, so I have been using those.

So, everyone's been buying the Yo Crunch - the kind with the treats in the top of the container? They're my favorite, but usually not on sale with the regular yogurts.....
Might have to run home at lunch and grab my coupons for a quick after work run to A&P!

Can someone check their movie ticket voucher? I have 2 with "no pin available" where the code is supposed to be. Don't know if it is my store or possibly because the promo started earlier then it was supposed to?

I did this today & I have the code on my voucher...but on fandango.com it says that 'no passes' are allowed for this showing...does that mean I can't use these tickets or just the theatre's passes?
I think I might go back tonight & get more Pop-tarts--1 of those & a glass of milk and some fruit for kids' breakfast, not too bad
