Found a new tearpad at my A&P when I went Friday- pic of lasagna on front of tearpad "feed your bunch on a budget" with the pic of the lasagna like on page 3 of the ad. In it there's a q for $1/1 Kraft singles 10 oz or larger- free Kraft singles this week since they're on sale for $2 and it will count towards $40 for $10 gift card.

We all have to get our thinking caps on and figure out the frees!!!!

Just note - this seems to only work on the FREEZER bags (either Quart or Gallon) - I got a total of 12 boxes (8 Freezer & 4 Storage) and only got 4 of the $1.25 OYNO coupons.

Even with the $1.00 off 2 coupons that we had in the newspapers, they are still less than free (2 for $3 - $1/2 coupon doubled = $1.00 - $1.25 OYNO = -$0.25).

It also appears that the registers don't know how to count to 5 - I had used 5 coupons that I intended to double, plus one of the $1 off Marcal Small Steps 2pk+ on the 4 roll toilet paper that was $1.49 (I figured $0.49 was OK for that), but noticed afterward that that coupon (which I purposely put at the end) gave $1.00 plus $0.49 double as well.

I made over 10 "trips" in 3 stores yesterday. I did two orders in one store and like an idiot went to the same cashier and she told me that would be it, don't come back in the store that day. DUH! So I will just go back today! LOL
Just go to different cashiers. Or do self serve. The only thing is that self serve requires the head cashier to acknowledge it because it is $0. So you may not be able to do too much there either. I think you are better off just hitting every cashier and the self serve once and don't draw attention to yourself.

One guy saw that I got 4 activia and 1 pasta (over $10 on sale) for free and screamed out "wow! That is the best total I have ever seen in a grocery store! You should be on Oprah!". I smiled and secretly hoped he would shush up because this was my third "trip" in that store and I wanted to sneak in one more! Little did he know that at the end of the day my total would be $0 for $180 of stuff. :)


Thanks everyone! I got 2 free ziploc, 20 free pasta, 20 free activia. Unfortunately, that is all I had coupons for. But totally free. No trouble with any cashier and lots of other customers gushing at the totals. Life is beautiful. That should get me through the recession and unemployment! LOL. :smile77:

I also tried the 8 packs of the tiny waters with the twist open caps and also got the $2 cat (those are on sale 2/$5 but I like the added fluoride- we have well water). The only suggestion I can make is that if you're using the self check out make sure the cat machine is working. I know lanes 3 and 4 are working- I used 4 today and I saw someone else using 3 who got a cat. And I'm pretty sure they're called 3 and 4- they're the ones further away from the pharmacy and closer to the cashier lanes. When you're there tonight just try to walk by to see if anyone checking out is getting cats and then use that lane.

The aqua pods i picked up had a sports theme to the wrappers.

I usually take a quick glance at the cat printers on my way in to see if they are working. The #1 sign that they are, is the strings of cats left behind by other customers.

I don't know if this was mentioned before, but there were $1 peelies on the post shredded wheat. $2 per box minus $1 coupon doubled, so the shredded wheat comes out free. And if that is not good enough, if you buy four, you get $4 oyno. It also counts towards the Kraft $10 certificate. An easy money maker for sure!!!

Hello. A few things from my trips... (FYI, this will be a long one!)

1. It hasn't been mentioned, but the 16oz containers of Friendship cottage cheese are 3/$5 this week.

There are $1/1 coupons out there for the Digestive Advantage variety, as well as $1/2 coupons for any variety of Friendship cottage cheese.

Using 3 of the $1/1 coupons, you get all 3 containers for FREE (the coupons could warrant $6 back on the $5 spent, if overage applies, but I have not tried it, so I have no idea).

If you don't like that variety, you can buy 6 containers, use 3 of the $1/2 coupons, and come out paying $4 for 6 containers. Less than 70 cents each is a great bargain in itself to me, considering that I think paying $1 per container is a deal, lol.

I just received the coupons that I bought online earlier in the week and can't wait to score some free cottage cheese. Sorry, but I don't know which circular they were in.


2. The Ken's marinade and Flavor Accents sprays are free this week, with the $1/1 coupons in this past Sunday's circular.


3. Although I wasn't fortunate enough to score any of the Kraft 'lasagna' coupon books, I did find a tearpad on a store display for $1/2 containers of Planter's nuts. The peanuts are on sale for 2/$4, and qualify towards the Kraft deal. The coupons doubled with no problem for me.


4. There was a store display of a new BBQ sauce (don't recall the name, but the label had a pirate on it). It is on sale for half-price ($1.99), and each bottle has a $1/1 coupon affixed to it, which makes for FREE BBQ sauce. There were 3 varieties: Sticky Rum, Apple Maple, and Honey Mango.

5. If you like Mrs. Dash marinades, they are on sale for 2/$5, and some have hangtags on them, good for $1/1. When super-doubled, it works out to 50 cents each. To me, this is a great deal, as I love that they are seasoned without sodium.

5. If you need more Kraft Easy Mac coupons, for the Kraft deal, keep an eye out for end caps. One of my stores had two separate displays, one with a $0.75/3 coupon tearpad, and another with a B1/G1 coupon tearpad. Considering the sale price of $1 each, it's a pretty good deal.

Unfortunately, not one of my 3 nearby stores had the Post Shredded Wheat coupons, so I was bummed about that (I love the frosted variety). But I must say, that the other store 'finds' helped cushion the 'blow', lol.

First A&P I went to and not a kraft/nabisco tearpad in sight... Second A&P I hit, tearpad there right smack in the middle of the triscuits... empty as sin...

So today I went to the SCO lane and got the aquapods and the ziploc bags and no catalina printed. I was in a rush to get out of there so I didnt have time to stop at cs. I also didnt want to red flag myself having an original total of $36 and paying only 1.65. I have to say though that every single coupon I used was 100% legit. The ziploc b1g1 took off 3.19 and I almost choked on my tongue but then it got stuck in the coupon box and it kept bleeping to call the checker over. She came over, fixed it but noticed what it was for and adjusted it down... Oh well. :shrug7:Probably would have gone into the negative anyway if it would have worked. HUGE red flag!

I did hear that you can call the Catalina co and give them your reciept number and they will credit you though. Anyone else done this? Someone gave me the number a while back and I misplaced it. Anyone know it?

Well, yes I was! I had my 2 year old with me who has his own mini shopping cart. Were you in the yogurt aisle? I saw someone (perhaps you) with an envie of qs in that aisle and I actually almost stopped to give some qs I had extras of but my son's shopping cart broke yet again (the back wheel comes off too frequently but we NEED that shopping cart to even get him into the store without screaming) and I just had to move him along, darn, wish I stopped now, would have been nice to say hi (if that was you.:wavehi:

I found Magic Shell Smores flavor 50% off so 1.29. Use the Smuckers ice cream booklet q for 1.25 off 2 which doubles up to $2 so 58 cents for 2 Magic Shells- mine don't expire until Apr 2010.

Oh that's so sweet. Yes that was me with my big stack of coupons!....too funny! I have to say your son is absolutely adorable. Even funnier, I was behind you in the Flanders A&P last night around 5:30 just envying you with all the cheese you were getting. I couldn't find a one of those coupons!!

First A&P I went to and not a kraft/nabisco tearpad in sight... Second A&P I hit, tearpad there right smack in the middle of the triscuits... empty as sin...

So today I went to the SCO lane and got the aquapods and the ziploc bags and no catalina printed. I was in a rush to get out of there so I didnt have time to stop at cs. I also didnt want to red flag myself having an original total of $36 and paying only 1.65. I have to say though that every single coupon I used was 100% legit. The ziploc b1g1 took off 3.19 and I almost choked on my tongue but then it got stuck in the coupon box and it kept bleeping to call the checker over. She came over, fixed it but noticed what it was for and adjusted it down... Oh well. :shrug7:Probably would have gone into the negative anyway if it would have worked. HUGE red flag!

I did hear that you can call the Catalina co and give them your reciept number and they will credit you though. Anyone else done this? Someone gave me the number a while back and I misplaced it. Anyone know it?
