How is the Commissary there? Is there something that they don't sell that I should stock up on before we go?

Not in Heidelburg, but at Ramstein. We have been to that commissary before though. I have noticed it is not so much what they don't sell, but the variety of what is sold. Only a couple of brands of an item as opposed to a tons oo different brands. So if you are brand attached you might want to stock up on certain items. PM me if you have questions about certain brands or items I can always check our commissary to let you know if it is available.

We just left Heidelberg in March. They have a great Commissary there. I don't recall having many problems finding the things I liked. On a few occasions when I asked they would either start carrying something they didn't, or had stopped carrying. The case lot sales are just okay, but they let them drag on for several weeks if they don't sell it all. They also have lots of coupons and inserts that are available to you at the front door and around the store.
