Have you received anything today?
Check your user CP, subscirbed threads tab and see if your subscribed threads are still listed. Not sure whats going on, but knowing if you settings changed too will help.

I haven't been getting anything since late last week either. I checked my subscribed threads and the only ones showing are the two new ones I've subscribed to in the last couple of days. All of the other ones have dropped off of my list even though I know they are still active threads. I think I'll just go in and re-subscribe to the ones I lost.

Hey guys, we are still trying to figure this out. I have looked at a few things and cannot pinpoint anything like a common email provider (meaning it is not everyone using hotmail, or yahoo or gmail, or any one provider)
I am getting mine OK (last ones I got were yesterday) so its not something that is happening to everyone.
So for now we are going to ask that you check your subscriptions via this link: http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/subscription.php?do=viewsubscription
And ask that you make sure that your subscriptions did not some how get removed (we don't know how they would have gotten removed if they are gone)
If all your subscriptions are there, what we are going to suggest is that you try changing them all to weekly, clear your cache on your computer and then change them back to daily. And then report back here and let us know if you get your email again. Daily email subscription emails are sent sometime in the evening (I usually get mine about 8 or 9 PM MST) so you will have to wait and see...
If your subscriptions are totally not there anymore, you may need to start over and manually subscribe to the threads.
Also make sure that in your options: http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions that your Default Thread Subscription Mode is set to what you want it to be.
Another tips would be to make sure that you add webmaster_mark @ hotcouponworld.com (without the spaces) to your contact list in your email.
If you have any questions about how to do any of the above mentioned things. Please feel free to post them here.

I am having the same experience. I checked my CP and my subscriptions are still there. Changed them to monthly, cleared the cached, changed them back to daily - but didn't receive any emails today.

I am not getting my subscribed thread updates via email either--just started over the last few days. Can't remember which day. I just checked and I am still subscribed. I have Comcast email, if that makes any difference. I know there are problems sending to those emails from time to time. Thanks

Its been about a week since I've gotten email updates either. As with most posters, the subscriptions are still there, though now I've deleted the old expired ones. I'm on AOL, btw. I too have done the suggested changes and cache maintenance is daily for me. I'll let ya know when emails resume.

emails don't get sent till the evening. So if you made any changes today we won't know if they went through or worked till later tonight. The emails are scripted to send at around 8-9 PM (Mountain) as that is when I receive mine.
We have had problems in the past with AOL blocking our emails but at this time we do not think that is the problem as members that are reporting this are coming from AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, Hot Mail and others.
Lets give it a few days guys and see if they start comming though. According to our server they are getting sent. They are just not making it through to a handful of members.

ok I cleared the cashe, deleted a bunch of old threads, adjusted subscriptions, subscribed to some new ones. As of today I still am not receiving them. Since 4/24.

We're still working this issue. Those are the "fixes" we knew to do. We're going to have to go outside of our help circle and see if someone else knows why we might be having this issue. Hopefully we'll get an answer soon!

Well now I see that after I checked all the boxes and logged out, the notification check boxes didn't save. How do I save the changes?

Mine quit also. I only subscribe to the Publix forum. I unsubscribed to it and resubscribed and still nothing. It is still listed as an active subscription with daily email notifications (which is also my default notification).
Nothing going to my spam folder either.

Don't know if this helps, but I removed all my subscriptions and then added the Publix forum back as an instant notification option (all of them had been set for daily before). I am now receiving these notifications, but I haven't added any others back yet to see what happens.

See as far as we can see...they are being sent out. But they are somehow getting lost out there between our server and your email provider...that is why we are not sure how to fix it...but we are still looking into it.

Mods-don't know if this helps in diagnosing the problem but when I switch to instant notification I do get those e-mails but when I choose daily update I don't get those. And I do get all my pm in my e-mail, just not my sunscribed threads.

Gee I thought this was just me. I've done many of the things mentioned and I'm not getting them either. I'm going to try instant messaging and see if that works. The daily digest doesn't no matter what I do.

Just wanted to say that I get some of my subscribed threads through email but when I do get them which is quite rare, I only get one. I use gmail, the emails aren't being blocked. I've received 4 emails (other than PM's) since this problem started.

Just joined - so over loaded by the trades, auctions etc. I know who to use the papers, internet sales - I just got $100 of grocery for $45 - with no double coupons - including $20 of fresh crab legs. I just am having a hard time on the rest of these details.

I just found this thread....I've been missing my daily emails for weeks as well!!! Thought I had done something on my computer; have to say I'm glad to know it's not just me! I've also had the long, blank, screen thing before posts like some of you mentioned. Hopefully they will figure it out for us!:smile:

I'll occasionally get an email from a thread I haven't even visited or posted in for several months, but never get any from new threads that I'm still interested in. I spend a lot less time in HCW now that I can't follow my favorite threads through my email :sad:

We are still unable to pinpoint where the emails are going. According to our server they are being sent, but they are getting snagged up somewhere out there and we don't know where. We are still trying to resolve this issue with our server company but right now we are sort of scratching our heads about what is going on. Remember, neither Julie or I are very tech savvy here so we are doing the best we know how with the resources we have. We are so sorry about this and hope we can figure it out soon.

I got mine to work by changing from daily notifications to instant notifications and now I get ALL my mails from HCW.:BigHand:

I'm sorry that we haven't got this figured out yet. I can assure you that we haven't forgotten and we haven't decided that it's not worth pursuing!!!
I even tried setting up a new account and am not getting notifications for that one either!
Setting up a new account isn't going to resolve the issue, and it actually is in our Terms of Service that a member is allowed only one account. Any new accounts by an established member will be deleted by our admin team.

We are pretty sure that the problem lies with our server. It seems that our emails are getting hung up somewhere. I do have another support ticket in with them but they tend to be slow in answering these things. I ran diagnostics for our VB software and all signs are pointing to our server. Last time we spoke with our server folks they said that emails were being sent. But I ran some test emails and they are NOT being sent. In fact a batch email I sent last week for our survey is just now getting to some folks as far as I can tell. There is some sort of bottleneck and I promise we are trying to get it resolved. Please bear with us. Trust me we want you to get your emails as much as anyone!

I've gotten no thread updates since this problem started months ago but I've become accustomed to just checking my control panel more often. Not getting the PM alerts are killing me though. I really liked being able to respond to people ASAP!
I know you guys are working hard to fix the problem. We'll just hang in there until then!

I think we may be making some progress on this issue finally. It does seem that there is some sort of bottleneck going on with our emails and they are backlogged and just now getting sent out. So...couple of things you can do...
If you get a whole bunch of old emails delete them or do whatever you do with those things. We don't send these things out by hand it is all done automatically.
Add the following email addresses to your contact list or safe list to help ensure that our emails will be allowed and not filtered as spam
webmaster_mark @ hotcouponworld.com
heidi @ hotcouponworld.com
hotcouponmama @ hotcouponworld.com
all of the above...without the spaces.
Next it seems that Yahoo and Roadrunner is blocking our emails. Roadrunner we believe will be resolved by the days end. However we need to figure out how to get Yahoo to unblock us, and that process may take a while.
Lastly we offer 3 types of emails to our members and YOU control if you get those emails
Subscription based emails...these are automatically generated emails based on your preferences to topic subscriptions and how often you want to be emailed. These are the main emails we have been having problems with. You have complete control in your UserCP on these emails. If you do not wish to receive these emails you can change that in your UserCP.
Emails from the admin: Occasionally we send out a email to our members with important announcements, updates to the site, etc. If you do not wish to receive emails from the Hotcouponworld administrators there is a check off box in your options in your UserCP to not receive these emails.
Email newsletters: If you have subscribed to our email newsletters via the newsletter tab (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/newsletter-sign-up) you can unsubscribe to these emails by clicking the link at the bottom of each of our newsletters and unsubscribe yourself. The CVS and coupon database email newsletters are in hiatus right now but we do send out 2 email newsletters a week. One on Tuesday and one on Friday with a heads up about what to be looking for each week, seasonal pricing, new printable coupons, and deals you can get in on.
Again if you do not wish to receive any of these emails please change your options or unsubscribe. If you DO wish to receive these emails help us not get blocked or sent to the Spam folder by adding the above email addresses to your contact list.
I will post updates further as I know more.

Wow guys thanks for posting about this. I thought it was my internet provider, I was about to start calling and sending them messages about not receiving my emails from HCW. I've gotten so used to checking my inbox and seeing messages from HCW and to find nothing was scary. I thought I had been banned from HCW or something, but yesterday I started receiving messages from last week and now its back to normal. I even unsubscribe and subscribed again just to see if that would work but it didn't. So thanks again Administrators for helping to clear up this matter. I knew there was a reason (besides all the helpful tips & insight on deals that I receive) that I was a part of the group. You guys rock, thanks for letting me part of this community family.

I hardly ever get pm's, so I can't answer that one. Yes I have Publix set as instant and target clearance set as daily. I checked and there have been posts in the target clearance forum for the past 2 days, but I haven't received any emails for that forum.
