Has anyone been able to find out what will be for sale during the May case lot sales? I was trying to stock up on coupons for it but this time our store has not listed what will be sold.

My store had a mini case lot (that's what it said!) and the items included were 15 ct case of powerade (after coupons equals .43 each) large skippy peanut butter (36oz after coupon$0.99) (and they count for the unilever rebate!) 82 ct. electrosol powerball tablet. They were $8.99 with an instant coupon or something like that, total came to $5 after coupon. Wisk was cheap too..I want to say $3.99 a bottle? I didn't get the $2 coupon in my insert though so I passed.
My husband went, not me and he bought those things. I know the electrasol is almost always in the case lot sales. I'm in GA if that helps. Can you find anything on the commissary website?

Insert coupons, no. Sometimes a vendor will have multiple coupons to apply to the case to get the case down to the sale price and other times there is 1 high value coupon. Other times the price comes off at the register.
You can use an insert coupon if there is no vendor coupon but usually the case coupons they give you work out much better.

K, I have to say my experience has been different than the pp. I have always been able to use one coupon per item in the case, and the vendor coupons available are usually on a single item as well (at the commissary I used to shop anyway-I guess I'll find out if this one is different next month).
Things that I always find on sale for the case lot are toilet paper, paper towels, brownie/cake mix, cereal, and chips. Usually drink big packs, too.
And when I buy a case of toilet paper which has like 12 packs in it or whatever, then if I have 12 coupons, I can use them, b/c even though you are buying the whole case, they considered each item inside the box to be a purchase, and as we all know, it's one coupon per item purchased.
Now, I will say this, the one I used to shop in PA was really, really tiny and their case lot sale was always held outside in tents b/c they didn't have the room inside to handle that kind of stock, and I realize many commissaries do have the room and are much bigger/more efficient, so it may vary...but when I know a case lot sale is coming up, I stock up on multiples of name brands of the items I listed above, b/c they almost always get used at the case lot sale. I hope that helps, and I didn't confuse you anymore...

Hello, this is my first time posting on HCW after lurking forever. I would love to be able to find out what is going to be on sale for the case lot sale. How would I find out if I can use 1 coupon for each item in the case? TIA Jenn Anyone in the Boston area?

Sometimes they let you use a coupon per item sometimes they don't. I wish there was a policy for this.
Last case lot sale here they also had mashed potato boxes but can't remember which brand. Betty Crocker pancake mix, capri sun.

From my experience, it depends on how the items ring up.
For instance, if the "case" has 3 bottles of All for $7.97, then you are allowed to use 1 coupon. If the "case" has 3 bottles of All for $2.66ea, then you are allowed to use 3 coupons.
Last time I went (using the All again), it was packaged as 3 for $7.97, but the vendor had taped a $4 coupon to the case. Other times, I've bought a "case" of 24 cans of corn and the vendor had taped 24 coupons for .35ea on the case - I was permitted to use the 24 coupons because the vendor did it.
Clear as mud?

I think DVW brings up a good point. It often depends on whether a "case" is sealed or not. For example, we have the traveling case lot sale this month and I went today. They had instant mashed taters in OPEN cases-meaning you could buy the whole case or not, no biggie, and they were .60 each. They also had 12pk cases of Gatorade, which were all shrinkwrapped together, so you couldn't buy just one. Those were one price for the whole case. The first ones you could use individual coupons on, the second, you could only use one. Does that make any sense?
Now, I don't know how much this will help, b/c case lot sales will vary from commissary to commissary and even our commissary may not have the same deals next month that they had in the traveling case lot sale, but I'll tell you the things that I noticed/bought that were on sale for the traveling case lot sale today:
Betty Crocker
Muffin Mix pouch-4 flavors
Mashed potato pouch-2 flavors
Pizza Crust pouch
and
Cornbread pouch? or something like that...
Those were all .60 each, and there were $1.00/5 coupons for each of these on tearpads by them. It would be a better deal for the potatoes if you have the .25/1 coupons instead of the military store coupon. That would make them .35/each!
They had Hefty trash bags (black or white) the big box for like $8.00 or something, there are $1.00/1 coupons out there from a recent insert, I believe.
Bottled water (not name brand that I recognized) was $2.99/24 pk.
Kelloggs cereals were in the $2 range for the big boxes. They didn't have any other brands of cereal that I noticed.
Cat litter (I think it was Scoop Fresh-the one with the white bucket and the orange kitty-maybe it's Fresh Step?) for the big bucket was like 9 something. I'm sure there are coupons out on that.
Hamburger was $1.84, which is high for the commissary they came from.
Nature's Valley bars (including sweet and salty) for the super-size box were $2.99. There are coupons out for these.
Strawberries were $2.99 for a big huge package (a pound maybe?).
Those are the deals I remember. I wasn't feelin' too hot so I barely remembered that, but thought it might help some of you. I'll be sure to report back and let you know if they have the same stuff (I know there'll be more at the regular case lot sale, but of the stuff they had I want to know if it matches) in May.
Oh, and they had Bounty paper towels, but I missed the price on those.
