Well here is what I see

Powerade - good if you have the buy 10, get 5 free tearpad Q.

Buy 15
Pay for 5 with Q
5 are free from sale
OOP $5.00 for 15
I think it should work because the 5 free ones are taken off after the sale is totalled.

Anywhoo, on to the rest:

There are $.50/2 Progresso Q's out there making them 2/$1.00

Ortega is $2/each and the new $.75/2 Q would make them $1.25 each

I think the Crystal Light has a B2G1 Q out there = 3/$5

Bagelfuls have a $.75/1 Q floating around making them $1.00 each.

Huggies Wipes will be $1.00 after $.75/1 Q

$.25 Barilla Pasta after $.50/1 Q's

I wonder if the Sierra Mist is included in the Buy 3 get 1 free? There are BOGO IP's for the new flavor (can't remember at the minute what it is - need to get DS put down in his crib for me to find the Q). If you are lucky to have 3 of those Q's and happen to like Sierra Mist and the new flavor, the following should work:

Select 3 Sierra Mists
Select 3 New Flavor Sierra Mists
Select 2 Diets

Total $10.66
Less 3 BOGO Q's ($4.00)
Less 2 Free from B3G1 Sale ($2.66)
OOP $4.00 for 8 - 2 Liters

If anyone needs Skippy peanut butter for the Unilever deal Target had it on price reduction for $1.69. There is a coupon out there for .40 off making these $1.29 a jar. Hopefully all Target stores have it at the reduced price.

I have these as well :BigHand:

DId anyone try to use them during the last sale? If so, did they double to $1.50 or just $1.00.

I figure the following:

Worst Case: Only Double to $1
Buy 15 $10.00
Use (7) .75/2 -$7.00
Cost: $3.00 (.20 each)

Best Case: Double to $1.50
Buy 15 $10.00
Use (7) .75/2 -$10.50
Cost: Make $.50

And just out of curiosity. They should technically double to 1.50 since it is off 2 items. If it doesn't how would you guys handle it? Ignore it or ask them to double the full amount?

TIA

I have the .75/2, and B10G5. So could I do like 4 of the .75/2, and the B10G5 free, and still get the $5 off from GE? Last time I tried this deal the cashier only rang up 14, even though I bought 15, so I didn't get the $5 off!

I hope the q doubles for you. It did for me on a few transaction the last time the deal was on. On the transactions that it didn't, CS would not give me the other .50 I should have received. They told me that even though you are required to buy two the q only links to one and will only take $1 off 2.:rolleyes24:

Ziploc is 3/$5. What's the chances the ones with the expandable bottom are included in the sale? There are $.55/1 insert Q's making them $.56/box..

Breyer's is 20/$10 ($.50 each). There are $.50/4 insert Q's making these $.25 each

i did this last time .. 6 times..
1st 3 times it worked no problem..
than it started taking just the $1.. so i showed them the receipt of the transaction before... but no luck.. so itold them i am not going to get it .. and that i want my coupons back.. i will go to a different casher that DOES NOT HIT TOTAL TWICE...
If the hit total twice.. the discount comes off and the coupons wont work.. .. if you have someone who knowes what they are doing that it workes without any problem...

When I did the PowerAde deal with the 75˘/2 q's the last time, the cashiers did not scan them, they manually entered them under the "grocery key" so they would double. The store I shop (Washington, PA) must have been aware that there was a problem with these coupons doubling.

The Electrasol/Finnish/Whatever they are called now are on sale for $3.59.

$3.59 - $2.50/1 coupon from 4/19
= $1.09

Not a great price (last time these coupons were out they were on sale at Target for $3 and CVS for $2.79ish). However if you were afraid that they won't go on sale before the coupon expires, this would be a good price to get a Rain Check on and "lock in" at no more expensive than $3.59!

My razor supply is GONE  so I'll be doing that deal.

Venus 2 for $12 - 2*$2 q's = $8, get $5 OYN(HBA)O

then rolling that into 2 of each of the BIC Soleil and Comfort 3...

$3.99*4 = $15.96 - 4*$2 q's = $7.96 - $5 cat = $2.96 for 4 packs

The Venus has 3-count packs pictured, and the BIC are 4-count packs, so 22 *nice* razors for $10.96 plus tax. Eh. I need 'em. :sigh2:

If you type in Breyer or Breyer's or Brey in the Coupon Database (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/coupon.php) it will list where to find the $.50/4 and any other coupons that may be available.

I use Coupon Database all the time to double check if there are coupons that I or someone may have missed or I'm not finding the ones others have listed because of a different region. The list is exhaustive, quick and easy. :BigHand:

Anyone check the Ziplock w/ expandable bottoms? Are they on sale?

I bought 3 boxes of the 10 ct gallon freezer bags expandable bottoms and they are on sale. The weird thing is there were 15cts (I think) of the same and on the front of the box there is the yellow box with the count and description listed (like 'storage' 'freezer') well it also said 'expandable bottom' where on the 10 count it says 'with expandable bottom' in the middle of the box and not so obvious. But they were on sale and did say it so I used my coupons for it!

Also - I just posted in the Cat section that I received a $1.25 OYNO from Ziploc, but don't know exactly what triggered it. I bought two boxes of sandwich bags as well... HTH!

Jen, any chance you can call the cat company and ask them what triggered it? I've done that before. They'll ask you for the #'s that are on the cat (there are a series of #'s that identify the store and the cat)

Thanks Jen and PB :-) I have several of the 55c expandable bottom ones, and a bunch of 40c/any - Now that DH is back to work I need to stock up on sandwich bags for lunches and we always need storage/freezer bags!

I'm seriously loving this stockpiling thing - How on earth did we do it before? I love not 'needing' anything - but love knowing that this week all we need at the store is DH's coke for work and ziplocks to stockpile. And milk and bread - but that's easy to stop and pick up whenever.

--Oh gosh I just scared myself! I almost cried when I saw the 55c Ziplocs in my hand expired 4/11 - but now I see the 5/30 ones in the pile beneath them LOL

Please forgive me all as this was the first time calling the Cat company. I was on hold for about 20some minutes and DS was getting impatient with me so I didn't get very much info other than it is buy 2 get $1.25 OYNO. I don't know if it is only certain bags (like the sandwich) or if the reason I only got 1 Cat is because they need to be rung in separate transactions or what. I also don't know the dates for the deal. I'm sorry!! I will call back!!!

If the Expandable Bottom ones are included though:
(2) @ $1.67 each = $3.34
- 1.10 each = $1.14
Get $1.25 OYNO = $.11 MM!!! :D

I will call back armed and ready to get more info but I need to wait for DS (who is has me typing one handed right now-lol) to take his nap. If in the meantime anyone tries the deal and has more info - please post!

Just called back -

Looks like it is on Freezer bags only - he said he has 45 or so listed and they all say freezer. So it was the expandable bottom ones I bought, although now I am sad because you could buy more than one set of set of 2 in a transaction and get multiple cats in a transaction! I bought 3 :( For GE the promo runs 4/16 - 5/13 so we may be seeing an upcoming ad for this.

YAY on the MM!!!

I called Unilever, and the Breyer yogurt does NOT count:sad:, they don't own the Breyers yogurt, just the ice cream.

But it was a very friendly call, and Helen is sending me "some nice coupons." So we will see. They are just taking names and adresses for the mailing list for coupons and new offers. So maybe worth calling with any question to get put on the list.

See, but we are at the same store. I got NO love from CS about this. I tried two different people and they both told me that they are NOT supposed to double and the cashier inputed them wrong the first few transactions. I was upset!

When I did the PowerAde deal with the 75˘/2 q's the last time, the cashiers did not scan them, they manually entered them under the "grocery key" so they would double. The store I shop (Washington, PA) must have been aware that there was a problem with these coupons doubling.

Oh another warning - the Ortega Q's are beeping again. They have to be entered manually. They are valid on 'any' product so you can get two seasoning packets and pay I think like $.06/2 post-Q. I bought the meals and salsa @ $2.00 each and they beeped so it is the Q not that the double goes over the price of a single item???? Strange, strange Q's those Ortega's are!!

Question? When I buy the Powerade do I use q's for the free ones? So you buy 10 and get 5 free, so do I use 5q's ($0.75/2) for 10 and still get 5 free?

My understanding is this (hope this makes sense!):

(15) @ $1/each = $15.00
Less (7) $.75/2 dbld ($10.50) = $4.50
Less $5.00 for the store promo B10G5 = -$.50

or if you want to pick up 1 more you can use 8 Q's as follows:

(16) @ $1/each = $16.00
Less (8) $.75/2 dbld ($12.00) = $4.00
Less $5.00 for the store promo B10G5 = -$1.00

So there will be an overage that you will obviously need to add a filler for.

HTH!

I'm thinking I may get 1 seasoning and one meal with each coupon - that way, I'm only spending a little over a $1 for both.

My Old El Paso plan is:

4 seasoning @ .89 ea
2 refried beans @ 1.39 ea
use 2 $1/1 bean wyb 2 products

$6.34 minus $2 - $4.34 and get $3 off meat/chicken

Okay, does anyone know if this can be done:

15 Powerade = $15.00
less 5 .75/2 Q's = $7.50
less store promo = $5.00
less B10G5 coupon = $5.00
= $2.50 MM
I don't see how this would be different than using 7-8 $.75/2 Qs, but...

Right now I have 105 Powerades in my garage. I still have 40 more coupons to use.

I use 7 .75/2 coupons = .34 for 15

Both my kids are in sports so each bring a powerade to their games and practices. AND my 14 yr old brings one in his lunch everyday. My husband brings 2 a day for his work (he works a 12 hour shift). Soooo, Im stocking up big time. I go through these like water.

I even got a lot of 20 from ebay tonight for $3.90. Can't believe no one outbid me! So I will have 60 more coupons to use

Woot - I went to a SCO that had 2 q's peeking out that someone had left. I didn't look at them or take them off until my fashion bug and ziploc cat printed out. One was a $2 oyno - absolutely no information on it to figure out what generated it. I am going to call tomorrow to see what may have done it.

Nestle Toll House Morsels are still on EPR, although now the tags have an expriration date. May 20th. GE though raised the price from 2.60 to 2.73 :hectic1:

If you have a Upromise account make sure you activate your ecoupons before you buy the Morsels. If you buy 3 you will get 1.00 donated to your Upromise account from Nestle. To be safe I would by them by the end of April, who knows if this will continue into May.

I found this on the Breyer's yogurt website:
MANUFACTURED UNDER AUTHORITY OF BREYERS® YOGURT COMPANY, NORTH LAWRENCE, NY, 12967 USA.
©2008 BREYERS® YOGURT COMPANY, NORTH LAWRENCE, NY, 12967.
BREYERS® IS A REGISTERED TRADEMARK OWNED AND LICENSED BY THE UNILEVER GROUP OF COMPANIES

So why doesn't it count towards the Unilever deal?

PS: I watched a woman at the SCO scanning her groceries and the Catalina machine generated so many coupons they trailed to the floor! Then she bagged her stuff, never once looked at the coupons, and walked away! WTH? I wanted to leap over the conveyor belt and grab them but then somebody else started checking out right after her and I got a little shy. :emb77:
I always glance at the Catalina machine to see if any abandoned coupons need a little lovin'. One time I found one still attached for a FREE Glade plugin and refill...unbelievable! Another time I found one in the garbage for a FREE tube of Pillsbury cookie dough! FREE stinky stuff and cookies...just abandoned like that?! People are idiots! :shrug7:

NOPE - the $5.00's only comes off once per order.

In my case I asked the cashier if I could - was told yes. When it didn't work out and take off the second $5.00 after the 30th one...she called her super over, whom told her, "guess not". So they had to take off 15. and the 7 coupons and then started a debate wheather 7 or 5 coupons was the legal amount, since I was only paying for 10. Then they rerang the 15 and only "allowed" me to use 5 coupons......

Are you getting the idea that it's just a lot easier to buy 15 in a trip?

A question on the Powerade deal:

Will the total be the same if I use self checkout instead of a cashier?
I wanted to use (7) 0.75/2 coupons to get 15 for free. Will the self checkout automatically take 1.50 off (0.75 doubled) or will it only double up to the cost of 1 Powerade (1.00)?

If I go to a cashier, and they keep hitting the subtotal key, will that change the total? And will the system also take off 1.50 for each coupon?

Don't want to waste my time and think my subtotal will be zero and end up paying more lol. I know Giant Food automatically doubles the 0.75 to 1.50 off, but their buy 10 get 5 free deal ended.

TWO will double - only two like coupons double at a uscan - every and always...then each like coupon is going to require an employee intervention.

I dont understand why you are requesting a subtotal.
I just bought another 15 not more than 20 minute ago - gave the cashier 7 coupons and they all scanned. I dont ever do a 0 balance... it just causes too many problems. I buy a little groceries each visit.

Buffy2k8
04-28-2009, 07:23:00 PM
I ended up going to a cashier and actually had 10 coupons total- used 5 for each transaction. About the subtotal bit, I read how someone earlier worried about or said that if a cashier kept hitting the subtotal key after each coupon or something or other, that it would somehow not double to 1.50. Also, someone earlier posted about using 7 coupons to get 15, and their total was not 0.

I don't see anything wrong with having a zero balance or close to that if I'm using coupons for the right products that don't have limits stated such as one per customer or etc. But my subtotal was 2.8x instead of 10.00 for 15 bottles :>

Question for you: I bought 4 Huggies Wipes and used 4 of the .75 coupons (a DND 5). This was at SCO. The first two I scanned doubled correctly, but the 3rd and 4th of course required assistance. She manually keyed in Coupon, 75 cents, grocery, and it took off 75 cents coupon value plus 64 cents "doubling". Any idea why the 64 cents? The product was $2.50.

I wasn't going to argue for the 11 cents but I was unsure why it "doubled" to .64 and not .75

What else were you buying? Huggies are not a grocery item, they are under a separate category so depending on how it was entered depends on how it is applied. Did you buy a grocery item that cost $1.39?

I did buy something else with the Huggies, but not for the cost of $1.39. Sounds like the way she manually entered it may have caused that?
