Foodperks: 5% off your groceries

If you go to the Giant Eagle Webpage and watch a video on the food perks program they will add 5% off to your card.

I can't find it when I log into to GE's website.....BUT I'm pretty sure we don't have foodperks in our area. Just FYI in case others are looking too.

A friend of mine couldn't find it either and I believe she had to be logged in first - then she found it. I am not sure where your area is, but many of the stores are coming out with the foodperks....They just started this week. Keep an eye out at your store. If you don't have it now, maybe you will get it later!

Awesome! I just did it and checked my balance..it was already credited.
This will be an awesome deal since DH drives around all day for his job....many frequent gas fill ups!!!!

It says see store locator but what does it say if you have a participating store? I even tried looking at stores in Pittsburgh cuz I figured bigger city more likely to have the foodperks...still no mention.

It was tested in Columbus and is now going store wide. All of the stores I have been in have banners everywhere, people at the front of the store handing out leaflets and explaining the program. The cashier are only asking you if you want to use your foodperks if you have at least 1% in your account.

The foodperks program has been GREAT! Just make sure you let them build and use them when you have a decent total! You wouldn't believe the customers who buy a pop and candybar and use 4% on their purchase! :shrug7:

It's like I said in my other post: People are idiots! I never spend much at GE cuz I use sooo many coupons...plus I only get gas there when my fuel perks have built waaay up...so I don't know how many foodperks I'll accumulate but I sure as heck wouldn't waste them on a candybar! :hysterical:

PS: I watched a woman at the SCO scanning her groceries and the Catalina machine generated so many coupons they trailed to the floor! Then she bagged her stuff, never once looked at the coupons, and walked away! WTH? I wanted to leap over the conveyor belt and grab them but then somebody else started checking out right after her and I got a little shy. :emb77:
I always glance at the Catalina machine to see if any abandoned coupons need a little lovin'. One time I found one still attached for a FREE Glade plugin and refill...unbelievable! Another time I found one in the garbage for a FREE tube of Pillsbury cookie dough! FREE stinky stuff and cookies...just abandoned like that?! People are idiots! :shrug7:
