Did pretty good myself...

6 x Uncle Bens Ready Rice - .75/2 = .96 each
4 x PopTarts - .55c/1 = 2 c each
2 x Tostitos - .55/1 = 85c each
Breyers disney swirl yogurt six pack -.75/1 = 25c
4 x LoL Butter -.55/1 = 85c each
2 x Breyers Ice Cream -.75/1 = 75c each

Prices are listed at value after triple coupon is deducted. The Thai Kitchen & Duncan Hines Cake mix both gave overage (yahoo!!!). My Bloom allows overage to cover the sales tax - the only caveat is that they won't give cash back if it goes in the negative.

(5) Viva paper towels @ .12 = .60
(3) Bertolli pasta sauce @ .20 = .60
(7) Thai Kitchen noodle bowls @ -.25 = $1.75 overage
(5) Duncan Hines Cakes @ -.05 = .25 overage

Before coupons = $39.60 + tax
Final OOP = .19 (because of overage from Thai Kitchen & Duncan)

this is strange. I've been once and i got no overage. I had overage but the store didn't give it to me.
13 thai noodles .79 (.50/1 tripled) = free (overage of .71 per item?)
2 air-nerds candies .79 (.55/1 tripled = free (overage of .86 per?)
2 breyers 6 pack disney yogurt 2.50 (.75/1 tripled = .25)
my final bill was .60
.25 + .25 for the 2 yogurts and .10 tax (1% of the total value of the coupons - 13 x .50 = 6.50 + 2 x .75 = $8 + 2 x .55 = $9.90 + the 1% tax on the 2 yogurts)

so no overage on my order.
anyone know why?
(on the nerds and Thai there would have been overage without triples, except that Bloom does not double. I guess I should have used those coupons at stores that double and give overage)
I did not think Bloom gave overage.

Can anyone tell me if blooms has a limit of like coupons? For instance, if I have 20 Viva coupons, can I use all of them in one order or is there a limit of 4 like coupons like at other stores?

I used 10 like coupons for my order today with no problems. My Bloom in Seneca, SC, however, does not allow overages. They also would not give a raincheck on items they were sold out of and allow me to use the triple coupons. Does anyone know if there is a Bloom in Upstate, SC that does allow overages?

We shop in Seneca as well, and they do give overage if the item is on sale for less than the tripled coupon value and give overage to allow for up to the regular price of the item. We got overage on our Cocoa puffs.

We are all done shopping at Bloom this weekend - it was a blast! DH even saw how much fun it is to get all that food for such a deal. It is such a blessing for all of us who have been affected by the economy and layoffs, job losses, etc. Let's keep doing it right so they keep doing it every month!

On my receipt, the tripled coupon amount was adjusted to match the price of the item-not allowing overages...for instance, I purchased a No Yolks Pasta for 1.85....I had a coupon for .75..and the tripled amount is $1.10...is it because it was a regular priced item?

Yes - the register will not triple past the regular price of the item. But if it is on sale, let's say for $1.00 and the regular price is $1.85 and you have the same .75 coupon - you would still get .75 and then 1.10 for the double/triple, which would give you .85 overage. The total value allowed is based on the regular price of the item, not the sale price - that's why the Cocoa Puffs IP coupon disappeared - it had nice overage:wink7:

I did not think Bloom gave overage.

My Bloom gives overage only on the difference between the sale price & regular price. For example, the Thai Kitchen products I bought were normally $1.50 and were on sale for $1.25 a piece. My .50 coupon tripled to $1.50, giving me .25 overage. However, the McCormick grinders were $2.08 regular price. The .75 coupon tripled to $2.25, but I did not get any overage because it was a regular priced item.

Another example is the Ronzoni. It is normally $1.49 a box but was on sale for $1.00. The .50 coupon tripled to $1.50, which mean I got .49 overage. If it had not been on sale, it would have simply gotten it for free, much like the McCormick grinders.

However, this is s YMMV thing. Some stores don't give any overage (which is OK because free is free is free!). Some stores give overage but only on similar products (i.e. the overage from the Thai Kitchen Noodles could only be used to purchase more Thai Kitchen Noodles.)

Spent $3.95 oop.
Your savings $41.55.
Your breeze buy savings were $8.28.

I found one hangtag kind of $3 off one any meat when you buy 2 wishbone dressings on one wishbone salad dressing. And I happened to have .75/1 insert q's with me. All varieties were on sale for $2. So I got one pack of ground turkey and 2 bottle of dressing and made $0.5. A couple of coupons beeped. The supervisor pushed them through. Not much I can use. So I'm doing this one transaction this triple.
