Today I used .42 cent Lindor Truffles. They were right below the 50% off easter candy, so I thought they were going to be .21 cents, but they weren't. Still not a bad price if you like them, but it was hard to do knowing I got all those Bliss eggs for free. I had to hurry though with my almost 3 month old along.

Great idea for a sticky.
I always look for any food items that are on 7-day Q that week, but these ideas will be great as backup.

I look at the seven day fillers too. This week I bought .79 kleenex boxes (I'm in the middle of a major cold). I'd rather spend a few cents more for stuff I'll use instead of ending up with even more pencils and candy ;)

I bought them 1 at a time this morning & they rang up $.50 as long as you scan the coupon in this weeks ad.
$.29 or 4/$1 Ramen is my favorite filler, my boyfriend goes through the stuff like crazy, so it never goes to waste.
I found plastic soup spoons on clearance for $.25 this morning. These were in the aisle w/ the other plastic ware. A spoons a spoon right, my cereal won't know the difference :-)
I've also started getting $.59 or 2/$1 string cheese when I need a larger filler.

you can also go online and send in a print to get printed for .10 with code HEARNEWS. you can use it up to 5 times iirc. so that's at least 5 fillers.

It seems like for quite a while now, the freezer section has been a gold mine of fillers! I've been getting the mini pizzas for .25, 2 pk corn dogs for .50, and this week I found the little pints of Haagen Dazs for .50!!
Not only great fillers, but great bargains as well!

I try to use cheap food items or travel tissues. $.39 Royal pudding is always good, and food that's cheap after 7-day q's.
BTW, I think my store may have stopped carrying the individual travel tissue packs. All I could find the other day was the larger multi-pack, and a cashier said she thought they might not be carrying them anymore.

Wags brand bar soap is 3/$1 this week with the 7-day q. Deals on bar soap don't seem to roll around as often as a lot of other things, so this could be a good filler this week.

You're right that the 7day coupons don't count toward your limit. Just be aware that the .39 sale is for the wrapping paper that is usually .99. My store was all out of it, and I was purchasing some that I thought was the right one (because it was the one pictured on the 7day coupon and the right size), and it wouldn't work - messed up my whole transaction! So just be sure you get the right ones!

I've been rolling between Nivea and Rembrandt this week, but I have been having some trouble finding fillers I will actually use. Tonight, I noticed Walgreens brand transparent tape on clearance for $0.58 and I was excited. Who can't use that (esp if you managed to pick up some of th $0.39 wrapping paper in the ad this week)?
For me, it was a perfect find. :)

Yesterday I found dessert bowls for $.39 or 3/$1. I got 3 and used 3 $2rrs to feed my Skittles addiction.
We use the bowls for everything...ketchup w/ fries, bbq or honey mustard for chicken, chip dip, snacks (skittles).......etc.....
This is an everyday item so you should be able to find it in stock, when they don't have any good clearance items. My stores are wiped out of clearance!

HOLY WALGREENS I did not know that! Awesome! Thanks!!!
Found clearance CD's today. They were the nature and ocean sounds usually "Wow $1" marked down to 25 cents. I have always wanted a relaxation CD so it made a great filler for me. They also have DVD tutorials for a quarter they were How to Play Poker and others. Would make good stocking or basker fillers.

Did you check BOTH places? My WAGS have the travel packs in the travel-sized item section but they also keep a small box display sandwiched between tissues and toilet paper. Half the time the display is hidden behind some larger-sized products.
That would stink if your WAG stopped carrying them. Who doesn't need tissues anyway??:hysterical:

Yesterday I saw packs of Diet Snapple singles to go (8 ct.) for $1.00. Marked down from $2. I love to put these in my water at work so a great filler for me.
They had a couple flavors of Diet Snapple (I bought Kiwi Strawberry and I know they also had Pink Lemonade) and I saw Sugar-free Hawaiian Punch too. I think there was something else... They were in a big bin in the middle of an aisle.

I found some clearance hair stuff on the end of the aisle yesterday. I got some barrettes for $.20 (for two) and they also had some hair elastics and bobby pins and such. I found Encore Gourmet spices on clearance for $0.24. They had: poultry seasoning, nutmeg, cayenne pepper & chocolate sprinkles. They may have had more, but that's what we purchased {I didn't look through them; my mom picked them out}. These were all in the clearance section.
At a different store, I found V8 Fusion 12 oz, Acai & Blueberry for $0.42. They also had some Starbucks drinks. The V8 made awesome fillers & they'll be great for me to take to school {rather than buy them for $1.50 at school!}. xD

Becareful with the seeds. I bought one pack expecting it to be .34 and they charged my .99. I didn't catch it until I went home. Next time I was there it still had the 3/$1 sign up, but you have to buy 3 to get that price. That was a few weeks ago, so it may have changed now.

I go right to the clearance rack - last time I got full jars of NUTMEG for .24 each. The caramels are not at every WAGS but they are pretty good - 3/.99 or .39 each.
Today I got One a day sample packs of Vitamin powder to put in water - two in a pack - it says trial pack - .24 each. I got 4 of them.
The nutmeg I am putting in gift baskets of coffee and hot cocoa with marshmallows stuffed in oversize coffee mugs I got for $1.00 at cvs or somewhere else.
The vitamin packets I am putting in gift baskets I am making up for my daughter's friends that are also graduating seniors for college. I figure each is getting over 50 bucks in supplies and I spent less than 20 on each one. THe time was the biggest effort.
Oh and they also had .69 tubes of crackers on clearance. The Peter Pan peanut butter was a good one for .87 each. All of those things are going in my grad baskets!
Also got locker scent tins - they were marked .75 but rang up at .37 each.

I always use the Laffy Taffy singles that are in bins by the register. They are $.10 each, the cheapest thing in the store and my fiancee loves them :)

I never can find any super cheap fillers at my store.
TOday I found a little gold pumpkin for fifty cents. Harvest decorations were half off. Mom has one of her table decorated w/ a large pumpkin and pumpkin placemats so the little pumpkins were perfect

I have been buying knee highs for fillers. They come in a little plastic egg, and are .59 ea. Always buy them anyway. Also, ramen noodles 3/$1. And of course, my favorite (someone else posted a while back) are the pictures downloaded at snapfish and picked up at Walgreens. Download one photo for .19 ea.
