I just wanted to pass this along. Kroger has started giving me .03 for every cloth bag I bring to use vs. having them pack my groceries in their bags. I haven't even had to ask, they just automatically do it at the end when they see how many were used.
I've been given quite a few free cloth "earth friendly" bags as premiums lately and have been taking these along. I've also gotten a few for free because of rebates. Not only is it better for the environment, but it saves you $, too! Even if you end up buying the Kroger cloth bags they sell, they'll eventually pay for themselves. :BigHand: I think right now they're priced 4/$5.
Last week I saved an extra .24 off my bill. Not bad for something super easy! I just leave them in my car so I don't forget them.
