OK for the Kashi, is this correct
Buy 2 pizzas (shelf price $7.29) = $14.58 (so I am over the $10 for the $2 OYNO CAT)
sale price is $5.50 x 2 = $11.00 - (2) $3.00 q's = $5.00 get $ 2 OYNO CAT
So $3 for 2 Kashi pizzas????
kookiecrisp
04-13-2009, 02:51:54 PM
Or is it better to mix & match
1 pizza (shelf $7.29) + 1 entree (shelf $4.49)= over the $10 for the $2 OYNO CAT
pizza sale price is $5.50
entree sale price is $3.00
_________________________
$8.50
- $3.00 pizza q
- $2 entree q
----------------
$3.50 plus get $2 OYNO CAT
So $1.50 for a pizza and entree???????
I obviously don't shop GE much lol but is my math correct???

Just went and checked - $2.29 is the shelf price so, 5 @ 2/$3 = $7.50 ($11.45 shelf) - use 5 $1/1 q's - pay $2.50 and get $2 cat
The ken's dressing is $2.79 shelf so you would only need 4 of them to get to the $10 shelf price.
Lite Spray - $4 @ 2/$4 = $8 (11.16 shelf) - use 4 $1/1 q's - pay $4, get $2 cat

I love the $.75 ones, too. I was actually thinking it would be a really good marketing idea for companies with a new product who are trying to get market share, to offer coupons for $.99, which of course would double to $1.98 (lots of regions have stores which double up to $.99, but I've NEVER seen such a coupon before). So the product's company would only bear $.99, and they can let the store handle the other $.99. Who knows though, maybe the store wouldn't welcome the new product if such Qs existed :)

04-14-2009, 07:06:30 AM
OT again, but according to the ad neekyme posted, I think the Kellogg's cereals will be a MM at KMarts that are doubling. Am I looking at this correctly?
There are $1/1 MQs out there that are good on any Kellogg's cereal 10oz+, from the 4/5 RP, so:
4 boxes for $10
-4 $1 MQs, doubled = -$8
=============
$2
Get a $5 KMart gift card by mail to boot, so after this, it's a $3 MM! Correct me if there's something I'm missing...

Anyone happen to know shelf prices for the items included in the General Mills deal?
16 oz. Lucky Charms
18 oz. Oatmeal Raisin Crisp
18 oz. Cheerios
7 oz. Fiber One bars
TIA from the 8 months pregnant lady (me)!
On another note, Reynolds Recycled Foil is 2/$6 (for the 35 or 50 feet varieties, according to the ad). I think neeky mentioned the 55/1 q that's coming this weekend. So $1.90 each.

I Can't Believe It's Not Butter is 2/$4 (spray, spread, or quarters).
There's 75/1 q's for the cooking and baking sticks (which would be the quarters, right?). So 50 cents each.
There are also 75/2 q's for the spread or spray, so 2.50 for 2 (1.25 each).

I thought the chocolate was just horrible! It tasted like chocolate water to me, not rich and creamy at all. I don't think the white milk is creamy either, it's taste is okay, similar to any 2% milk, but then I was used to non-homogenized whole milk.

I was really hoping she'd let me use my old car that she bought off me LOL Better than nothing though! Hopefully tonite she'll be able to pick me up and then I can driver her car back home.
Figures a really good week comes around and my car poops out. Why couldnt this have happened Monday? hehe

Just checked - the q's are $1 off the diced tomatoes wyb a soup!

If you have any of the 25c/1 Fuze drinks, those will be 75c after coupons.
The Kens Marinades are 1.66 - 1$ mq = 66 cents. (are these any good?)
Yesterday's News Litter (I use it for my Guinea Pigs - works GREAT!) 4.50 - 2$ IP from their site = 2.50 a bag!

The Ken's marinades are alright. I don't love 'em, but they are worth it for that price. I like them better than the Jack Daniels marinades, but not as well as other brands. I would try a couple of them at that price and see if you like 'em.

Note on the Ronzoni Smart Taste:
I purchased five of the thin spagetti and it did NOT work. I thought maybe it was going by sale price but we tried that and it did NOT work as well. I called the cat company and they said that UPC wasn't on the list they would update it tonight and it would work tomorrow. I sure didn't make a friend at GE though. I have never dealt with this girl working CS today and she tried to tell me a ton of different reasons why it didn't work. First it was b/c i used coupons, then b/c I didn't spend 10. I took the pasta to the CS desk and said ok..ring up more then 10 worth at sale price *trying to explain* to her that sometimes it works by sale price and other times shelf. When I called he said that the mccormick were also not programed into the deal and so that would be updated tomorrow as well. I called her after I talked to them so she knew and didn't think I was crazy and just in case it didn't work again she knew the REAL reason why. I explained to her that I came in a few weeks ago and bought toothbrushes and used coupons, only paid tax and still got the coupon on my next purchase. I don't think she believe me, but if she is working and i do it tomorrow I plan on showing her. I really don't try to be difficult, but it's hard when the people who work there have NO IDEA about any of it.
Now off on a tangent...
When I worked at a bank I had to know everything, from how to do deposits, withdrawls, etc to the products offered and what is included in each. So..I think that ATLEAST the CS people should have a little bit of an idea about how this stuff works. Am I wrong? I have had them ask ME about stuff.. now thats bad.

I thought the chocolate was just horrible! It tasted like chocolate water to me, not rich and creamy at all. I don't think the white milk is creamy either, it's taste is okay, similar to any 2% milk, but then I was used to non-homogenized whole milk.

Hey Neeky - the Simply Ageless is $12.59 (or $12.99 can't remember, too many numbers running through the brain lol) - so it definitely isn't free after Q. The basic powder is $3.59 sale price, and most other foundations and powders are $4.99-$6.99 sale price.
So unless someone is doing a shame-shame, not sure what that deal is???

Thanks so much for checking! That's what I thought, it was around 12 dollars at the drug stores so no way would it be half that at GE LOL Sounds like someone is using the coupon on something other than what it says it's for. Geesh. I get enough makeup almost free or free using coupons legit - no reason to pull a 'shame-shame' LOL Unless they misread the ad, or their store is having some other kind of sale!

I received a mystery cat with my order today. It's a $2 OYNO but doesn't say anything about thanks for buying X, so I have no clue how I got it. Here's what I bought:
2 Over the Moon choc. milk
20 Yoplait cups
10 Powerade
Can't Believe It's Not Butter sticks
Country Crock large tub
GE skim and whole milk
valutime mustard
valutime tp
bananas
Any ideas? The only thing I can think of is that there was a sign by the Yoplait, something about 2 free cups on your next trip when you bought 20... didn't get that, but they aren't $1 each so I'm stumped.

Its says thank you for buying mexican dinners and shells. So my guess is I got it for buying the shells? Also Log Cabin is a GDA they are regular 4.79 on sale for 2.50 and they had a 1.00/1 hang tag on them. So it comes out to 1.50 a bottle.

Had a great, but rushed, trip to GE this evening! Had to run while my mom watched the kids - coz now I can't borrow her old car because my sister's car broke down! WTH? LOL
I think the foodperks works on the BEFORE coupon total. My total was 110$ and then after coupon, 40 bucks. I saved almost 5$ in foodperks (I had 5% for watching the video) So I"m thinking it went off pre-coupons but maybe not all my stuff was allowed to have the discount (like milk?)
Got a Kashi Pizza and a Entree, used the 3$ off pizza coupon and the free entree coupon (from their website a month ago? I think) - and got the oyno cat.
Forgot to grab my free tote - so I'm hoping that if I go up with my receipt I'll be able to talk CS into giving me one.
Umm what else...other than the 'cheering section' I had during checkout - honestly - I had an older woman and younger kid (early 20s) cheering me on LOL It was too funny. The 'grandma' asked if I was married and said she figured someone had to love me with how I shop LOL It was too cute. Other than them invading on my 'space' it was really cute watching their reactions.
Shoot - something was on EPR for 2.50....and I thought to grab my coupons for next time, and now I can't remember what it was. If I remember I'll post - coz it was a good deal.
Oh! I remember something else - there are new Kashi coupon booklets! They're in a plastic holder thing stuck to the frozen health food doors - They have the same four coupons as the tearpad, but have another coupon - $1.50 off any Kashi Waffle. DND-5's and they expire 9/1/09

grrr - no kashi q's at my store and, apparently, they put out the free eggs wyb 2 kellogg's cereal q's and the whole pad was gone when I got there.
I did get the muir glen - 2 free after q's and the cost of the bag gets deducted once the cashier hits total.

One is going (filled with HBA stuff) to the North Royalton Food Bank (next door to our complex) tomorrow!

I am sooo stocking up on these - and at least I know I dont have to worry about DH eating them all - he won't touch anything healthy, even with a 10 ft pole haha!
2/11$ - two 3$ mqs = 2/5$ - 2$ oyno = 2/3$ for something healthy - Heck yeah! Might have to do them at the SCO just so the cashier doesnt have a chance to read the 'one coupon per visit' wording...Either that or I need to go cook the entree and see if I like that as much as I do this pizza and then do one of each!

Does anybody know if the Muir Glen/free shopping tote deal is regional? I went today and got 4 Muir Glens using coupons and nothing was said about a tote, and I couldn't find any info on it there. :(
I also found some candy on sale, 1/2 off, like Hershey's Bliss. I used coupons and got it really cheap.
I also did not find any Kashi tearpads. It was a sad day! lol.
But I did save quite a bit of money on other things.
I noticed that the AngelSoft was $1.19 (4 pack) at my store, so when the new AngelSoft coupons come out it will be a good deal.

You need to have the bags up on the conveyer belt when you buy the muir glen - the cashier won't do it unless you ask. Take your receipt back and tell them you thought the cashier gave you the tote bag and didn't realize you had to get it yourself - they should honor the deal for ya.

OK so here is an update on the ronzoni:
First off the ad is a misprint. Its actually supposed to be 3.00 off your next purchase. The night manager showed me the email from corporate b/c when I went in to pick up my coupon from yesterday I said oh no this isn't mine this is the wrong amount so she happily showed me it was a misprint. You ONLY NEED 5 to produce the cat..but here is the issue. For some reason only the rotoni noodles are producing the cat for the smart taste products ( i am not sure about the healthy harvest since we don't eat that kind) We tried it today with 5 thin spagetti's ( did this all with the manager at the cs desk, have i mentioned how nice she is?!) didn't work..she kind argued that its b/c it wasn't over 10 and i tried to explain to her and I don't think she really understood what i meant.. so i said ..well maybe it is going by sale price so we did 10 of the thin spagetti and still a no go. So she asked the girl (that i got into an argument with yesterday) which one did you guys use eariler to get this coupon for her. So she went and got the rotoni and i said..ok now do 5 and see if it works. And sure enough it did. She was surprised and I think she finally understood what I was trying to say about the shelf price. I plan to buy 5 rotoni noodles but the rest thin spaghetti so I will have to make either the night manager or the girl I wasn't getting along with is working b/c they both now know you only need 5 boxes to get the cat. The only other way I can think of to get around this, for those with a not so understanding customer service, is to buy the rotoni - and before you leave the store take them to CS and ask to exchange them (you'd just have to tell them that you don't know what you were thinking and that you grabbed the wrong kind LOL). That way they dont have to throw them away, I'm not sure if they'd have to throw them out if you actually left the store and brought them back - but I'd hate for them to have to to that. Some stores are more aggressive when it comes to tossing returns - and more waste = higher prices.

I posted this in the catalina deal section too, sorry for the duplicate if you already saw it there, but I thought some might not have checked it, and I think the deal ends tomorrow. So here goes:
Both yesterday and today (two different GE's), I purchased 2 of the Breyer's Yo-crunch 4-packs on a single order, and received (2) $1 OYNO CATs each time, instead of the normal (1) $1 OYNO. I think the CAT deal expires tomorrow (not totally sure on this), but I would hurry up and get them if you have any of the $.75 Qs that double. Here's the math:
(2) 4-packs = $5.50
(2) .75 MQs = -$1.50
doubled = -$1.50
(2) $1 OYNO = -$2.00
==============
$.50 for 2 yo-crunch 4-packs!

I have but one question, I can freeze milk right? LOL
I only got 15 boxes of cereal tonight... my goodness, before coming here we maybe would have 2-3 boxes total in the house!
Now I have a ton of Honeycomb and Frosted Flakes and Frosted Mini Wheats and Raisin Bran Extra! And we have 6 milks coming to us, which is nothing compared to some of you all. The kid ringing me out was so impressed, he said, 'wow you got lucky'! So I told him about here and how it's helped me out so much.
I got a bonus on a raincheck. I got rainchecks because last week they were out of the Trop50 when it was 2/$5. I bought 2 today and he put in the RC price AND it took off another 49c because it is on sale this week! Take off my $1 Q's and I paid $2.02 for both of them! Yay because everyone here loves OJ! I am going to buy the other 4 this week while I can get it insanely cheap!
Off to scope out other deals and put away all the darn cereal...

Grrrr, I should have read the last 2 pages of this thread before heading to the store. The cat didn't print for my Ronzoni. Really wanted the rotini (our favorite) but there wasn't any left so I just got spaghetti, elbows and penne (in several combinations) and no cat on any of them. :shrug7: It was so busy I just went ahead with buying them telling myself 50 cents was still a good price on healthy pasta. Still bummed though. I didn't bother going to customer service since all they would tell me is "You didn't spend $10"

I know it is hard to explain when they themselves don't even understand. I am glad the night manager finally got to see what I was talking about so hopefully next time (because I am sure there will be) maybe she will understand me a little better. I always go shopping at 6 am on sundays so I know that nobody that understands the deal will be working. So I plan to just stick with a few boxes of the rotoni (if there is any left) and just go over there later in the week before the sale ends to get the rest.

Well, I'm planning on buying 7 of the smart taste if they don't have rotini - I have enough $1/1 q's and since the total will definitely be over the $10, they'll have to give me the $3

Thanks! I went in this morning and bought 5 of the rotini. Got the $3 cat just fine. I took that receipt and the three that I didn't get the cat on to CS. They were very nice and rang up three sets of the rotini for me and I left with all 4 $3 cats. Much happier now!

I ran into the day manager on sunday morning and told her I still had more pasta to get, and she said just take a rotoni box up there and tell them she said to just ring those up.
Today when I went in to grab something she stopped me and told me that GE sent her an email this morning and they are working on fixing it. I kinda joked and thought..gee there is only a couple of days left why even bother? I do have 10 more coupons so I need to do it two more times. I didn't have them with me today and my hip is bothering me today so I decided to wait till tomorrow if I feel better.

Its really not a great deal, just 4/$10 and then the $1/2q's, but if you buy 10 Kelloggs items that were listed you get 2 free movie tickets. That's the only deal I know....

Bethel Park store doesn't have either the aqua or light juice. I'm heading to the South Hills Village store to look in a few minutes. The only store I've seen them in is SNS and they were $4.xx ea.

This Ronzoni deal has me all confused - and I'm behind in my shopping. Are their only certain varieties of this pasta that are producing the CAT? Are they going off the shelf price of $2.29?

Target is advertising 10 packs of the Fiber One bars for $3.75 (not sure if they have mocha flavor or not though, I'm going to try Thursday). There is also a $1 printable at fiber one's site (scroll to the bottom of the page), which you can print twice. With the mocha Q, it works out to $.24 apiece, while others flavors are less than $.28 per bar. After doing the GE deal, I wish I would have seen the Target one first!

Had a lot of fun w/ the Kashi deal....luv their products anyways.
O.K. now on to the good stuff....If anybody is going to be picnicing this weekend the G.E.'s in the Col's Oh area (probably other areas too) are running a special on Frito-Lay products. Buy 2 bags of Sun-Chips receive a free bag of Lays chips. When I was at Kroger 2 weeks ago I acquired a tearpad Q for "Buy 2 family size bags of Frito-Lay chips get $2.00 off a Frito-Lay dip" attached to the Frito-Lay section. So the math looks like this.
6.00 2 Sun-Chips (2/6)
Free 1 Lays Original Wavy
3.69 1 jar Tostitos Sweet/Spicy Salsa
(2.00) Frito-Lay Q
$7.69 Total
If your in a pinch for chips and salsa...this may do! Without the Q the chips $3/6 and with the Q the salsa is $1.69. There were cheaper salsas and dips, but I've had my eye on this one....its got raspberries and blackberries listed in the ingredients, so I bought it instead. I tried looking for an IP that might work, but when I checked the link there was no Q.
P.S. The Q I used did NOT beep.

I need to head up there tomorrow for some more Kashi and some ROnzoni. I only have the $1/2 but with the way things have been going, pasta and quick dinners are going to be the way to go (until this kitchen and first floor carpeting to hardwood is done in a month and a half or so). I hope they have the rotini and penne as these are our favorites! If not than I hope the cat is fixed at least.
I for sure need more Kashi, the pizzas are good and the meals are perfect for lunch.

I didn't realize it was after midnight when I posted :whistle67:...
I got 18 boxes of Ronzoni and 8 more Kashi pizzas and entrees. I found I had 2 more Muir Glen Q's so I got one more free bag ! I have been filling my pretty little freezer downstairs with this week.
I am tempted to run up there after everyone goes to bed to get more Kashi, but really I think the 10 pizzas in the freezer are good for now :hysterical:.
