I am hoping someone can help me find a good deal on toilet paper. Brand doesn't matter, but I try to avoid Scott (it is soooo thin!). I see that Cottonelle is on sale this week for $6.49, and I'm sure I have a coupon or two, but I have no idea if this is a good price.
Anyone know what is a good deal on toilet paper at PNS?
Thanks!

Wish I could help you with the tp McKenna. Toilet Paper is one of my biggest battles here in the savings department.

Hey McKenna, the best deal that we have seen at PNS was I think Quilted Northern 6 packs - 2/$6 with a $1/1 q that we doubled.... that happened a few months ago and I have nooooo idea when it will happen again. That came out to about .16 per roll, and we try to pay less than .25 per roll - but jst like Deja Vu - household paper items are the biggest challenge that we have, too. I never quite know when the next big deal is going to come around, so I stock up like mad when I do see a good deal.
For me, the $6.49 would not be a good deal, but hey, if ya need it - you could always use the price of the TP to get you closer to $25 for doubles..... :)

I stocked up on TP at CVS last summer, Buy $20 get $10 ecbs back, Charmin deal. Only TP hubby will approve, otherwise we buy from Costco. Plan on doing the same this year.

Thanks, ladies! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a tough time with TP. I don't NEED it yet, but I'm on the lookout for a deal.
Chitownmelli, thanks for letting me know that you try to spend less than .25/roll. That gives me a number to work with.
If anyone sees a deal on TP at PNS or Wags, lemme know. :)
Thanks again!

I'm in a tp pinch myself. I recently picked up 6 packs of some off brand at Walmart for $1.27 each (no coupons). Yeah it's thin junk, but cheap.....just sayin' in you're strapped for cash this is handy.

Kmart has the 4ct roll of Small steps (marcal) tp for 2.89 . Only 89 cents after doubed coupon. make sure to check in reas other than where TP is. I found it by the baby area where other green products were spotlighted.

I have trouble with TP also. I didnt get the angel soft coupons that were supposed to be in this past weeks insert. I am hoping we get the quilted northern that is supposed to come out in this weeks insert. I am going to price check today and see if that will be a good deal at Copps next week for doubles.
I also got the Marcal Small steps at Kmart during super doubles, mine was .79 for the four pack. Thats not free but at under .20 a roll I can live with it.
hope that helps!

happysoul and joskypay, thanks for the Kmart tip! I have those Marcal Qs, so I'll definitely check it out. Thanks so much.
Does anyone buy TP at Sam's? Does anyone know if the bulk pricing is better than at the stores? TIA!

This week I found several Pick n Save's in the Milwaukee area that have coupons on dispensers of samples of Cottonelle Ultra for $1.00 off 1 4-pack or larger. It doesn't expire until 12-31-09. I grabbed quite a few. I'll hold onto them until it's a really good sale and use it for doubles Wednesday. I haven't seen too many cottonelle TP coupons for $1.00 off a 4 pack, and I prefer that brand.

They HAD those in my store in Madison too. At least, I saw the display for them and found one fallen on the shelf. Definitely a good coupon to look for!
