last night.. i ran into a couponer...

So last night I was at Brentwood square GE with the kids doing the Egg hunt and I ran into a couponing ladie..LOL she had a lot of them I would love to have had the courage and asked her if she was on here..
so
I was thinking
maybe we should have a sign or something.. I mean not an actual poster sign .. but something to recognize each other.. I could not come up with anything....
what do you all think???????

Funny part about it - I see people with a lot of Qs (and the same thing in their cart that I have in mine) and wonder the same thing.

LOL I can just see the looks on people's faces if I started making scissor motions to everyone with coupons in their hands hehehe And why do I have this strange mental image of a bunch of burly housewives, wearing bandanas with one fist full of coupons and the other hand making odd 'gang' type scissor gestures? All standing and kneeling in front of a pimped out minivan of course!

Too cute though - maybe I'll start making the peace sign as I hold onto the buggy...not quite a obvious except to those who are 'in the know'

I actually did meet someone from this board through a moms' group I belong to. She started saying something that sounded an awful lot like a post on here, and I asked her. A secret handshake would have been more fun, though.

Maybe we need some sort of button with a pic of a coupon on fire or something. Slap that puppy on your purse or binder and you're ready!

what i was thinking was this site should sell stickers to put on our binders!
i already have one big sticker on it with stewie the baby playing with two stuffed animals and saying "now fight to the death!" lol my DH thought it fit perfectly with us getting the last bottle on the shelf.

like the symbol at the top! i would love to have that on my binder and have it showing when im in aline :)

I met mamasvs - She stole the last 2 glade air fresheners out from under me (ok - she was there first). Being the wonderful person I was **rolls eyes** I offered her a bogo q - being the smart shopper, she already had one.

Later, she came here and posted in the GE weekly thread that she had gotten the last 2 and a nice person (boy did I fool her) offered her a q. We've met up several times since then exchanging q's.

Did you help clear out the powerade?? lol. I bought close to 100 and the last day I cleaned the shelves off. A coke guy was stocking some and I said wait can I have those unopened cases and he looked at me like I was crazy. There was none on the shelves and no where else in the store. The first day they had powerade EVERYWHERE..
Mind you that was yesterday...now today my grandma tells me that she got me some coupons from her work..of course..POWERADE. i thought thanks gram... day late!!!
