Jewels (Another SuperValu Chain) No Longer Taking Expired Coupons Effective 5/1

Just wanted to give Cub shoppers a heads up about SuperValu's change with accepting expired coupons at Jewels.

About 3 years ago they changed from out right accepting expired coupons to a wink wink policy that they wouldn't check dates if the coupon scanned. We now just heard that they will no longer take expired coupons at all.

Is this the Jewel Osco's ? Is it in the Chicago areas? I don't get there often, but loved to go when I could. PLMK

Yes that's the one. Before SuperValu took over Jewel, we used to have both Cubs and Jewels in the Chicago area. When SuperValu bought the Jewels chain they had to sell their Cub stores in the area.
