I bought (4) Post Cereal - Selects Whole Grain & Crunchy Pecans today and out popped a $3 OYNO catalina, courtesy of Post Cereals. It was a pleasant surprise and I am wondering if anyone knows anything about it.

Yippee! Just got back from there. Used the in-ad $1/2 coupon for Post cereal. The spoon size shredded wheat and the Honey Bunches of Oats are on sale 2/$4 so I thought that was a great deal at $1 per box...I don't usually see that kind in any of the "deals." And THEN the $3 catalina printed!! That's like .$25 per box! Not sure how many you need to buy, but I bought 4.

I bought 4 boxes of Post Selects, (2 Pecan Crunch, 1@ Banana & Blueberry) at 2/4.00. I used 2 of the $1/2 coupons which made them $1 a box, which for one of our favorite cereals I was willing to pay. The $3 catalina was a nice bonus!

OK, so it wasn't just a fluke? I think I am headed back to Farm Fresh to get more cereal! If you can believe it, Mr. Amazing Man and the boys have plowed through almost all of the cereal I had stockpiled. We are down to like, 10 boxes. Between this and the Kellogg's deal, we can restock.

Thanks for posting that here. I read about it on another site, went and tried the buy 5, get $5 and it worked. I got 4 boxes of the Select Crunch and 1 box of Honeycomb. I used two $1/2 coupons (for $4 off because of doubles) and one .55/1 Honeycomb (doubled to $1.10) for a total of $5.10 off.
Here's the math:
5 Post Cereals @ $2 = $10
$10 - $5.10 coupons = $4.90
Then a magical $5 OYNO catalina popped out! What a beautiful thing that was. Wouldn't you agree that things taste better when they are free?
