Here is a link to this week's ad: Kroger (http://delta.inserts2online.com/customer_Frame.jsp?divID=025&drpStoreID=00463)
I've got to admit, I am not usually much for the chatter about new worms/viruses on the internet, but all of the news coverage on the one "scheduled" for today has me a little cautious. For that reason, I am not going to post the ad in its entirety today (I have to close all of my security stuff while I am downloading and working on it). I will do it for y'all tomorrow- feel free to add anything to this thread that y'all notice in the meantime. (Sorry for the inconvenience.)
As for me, I am excited that milk is still cheap: KROGER 1% OR SKIM MILK
$2.39 each and am thrilled to see boneless skinless chicken breasts for $1.79/lb because I am totally out of chicken (how did that happen???). Eggs are $1 this week (stock up price as of late) and Land o'Lakes butter is $2. Cucumbers and fresh green onions are .50. That is pretty much what jumps out and will probably be my shopping list for the week.
There also is a P&G deal to get $3 off your order but to be perfectly honest they don't make anything that I don't have a huge stockpile of from the drug store freebies, so I rarely find anything worthwhile when Kroger does this deal- that is just me, though! Any of you think those prices are good?

The P&G deal is pretty worthless to me since all the Q's I had expired yesterday! My list is mostly going to be chicken and produce this week too.

I'm milk and eggs too.

I'll just be going in for chicken I guess. That is a good price on eggs, but my brother has chickens, so I get my eggs from him. We use the barter system..he gives me eggs and I give him baskets with stuff I get for free: toothpaste, candles, shampoo, etc.
The milk price didn't impress me though. Do you all have an Aldi nearby? Last week I went there and got a gallon of whole milk for $2.10..this is in Southeast Missouri though. Maybe milk prices vary more than I'm aware of or you don't have an Aldi near you.
I'm wondering if there's any good deals to be had with the Buy 3, Get $3 off sale. If you combine the sale with paper coupons and electronic coupons, are there any good deals? I'll have to look into that I guess.

I went last night and used my 3/31 coupons. I love the cascade complete and 4.99 is a good deal to me :)I also got some herbel essences shampoo that ended up being .49c and some pampers that were 6.75 after all the coupons (deal, plus paper and esaver).
I'm also excited about the chicken but saw where Aldi has .49c eggs this week - which I'll be buying for our easter eggs!
Also, the pepsi deal can be made even better if you use the buy 2 get one free printable out there (not sure if I can post the link here) so it would like getting them for 1.75 a 12 pack!
My original total last night was 145.50 and I only paid 56.23 OOP! I was pretty well stocked on food from the past few weeks deals so this was a good week to spend 'grocery money' on some non food items

I don't see any good deals with the P&G promo either, unless there's some good e-coupons out (I haven't checked yet).
I totally thought the Secret deodorant said Flameless instead of Flawless. Flaming deodorant would be...something. Heh.
Coffeemate Liquid Creamer is on sale, and there are new IPs out for it. I think $1/1?
Kroger brand sour cream is $1, and I'm pretty sure the home mailer sour cream coupon is still valid.
Wheat Thins Artisan crackers are included in the 2/$4 at my store, B1G1F coupons make them $1 a box. These coupons state one per customer, so be aware of that.
Dole canned pineapple is $1, I just ordered some coupons off ebay for .55/2.
Duncan Hines cake mixes $1, aren't there coupons out for this? It takes too long for the database to load up for me to go check.
Onions .49/lb. We go thru a lot of onions here.

Yeah, I thought this week didn't seem as good as the previous weeks. The chicken is a good price, so I'll be going to get some of that, and as usual I'll pick up a gallon of milk or so, but I already got eggs at 1$, so I'm set there. I thought the Wheat Thins / Triscuit deal might be nice, since I have a Q for them, and my family eats them regularly, so it's a stock up item. That's probably the most I'll be doing this week.

I saw where milk was $2.19 for 2% at Aldi. Almost makes me want to drive the 8 miles there....LOL! I definitely wasn't impressed with this weeks Kroger ad either.
I did indulge in some of the Bertolli for Two meals, I had q's for $1.25 off, which made them $3.74 each, good deal for a quick meal for my son and I to have when DH has to work late.

What part of southeast Missouri are you from?

The new P&G coupons are available for loading: P&G eSAVER (http://pgesaver.com/Sites/PG_eSAVER/Page/HomePage/) I can't figure out a way to list them out (I saved some and didn't save the rest and now I can't even get logged back in for some reason.)
I used to do Aldi for milk, eggs, and some produce, but that isn't an option out here, so I am left with what Kroger or Wal-mart have to offer!
Sounds like noone is too pumped about this week's ad. Do you still want the full match-ups done? Just the P&G? None of it? Y'all let me know and I will take care of it in the morning.

I'm in Poplar Bluff...how about you??
I also pulled out a coupon for $0.35/1 Duncan Hines cake mix from a recent insert. I believe Kroger has them for $1 this week, so it would only be $0.30 for a cake mix with doubled coupon. I'll probably pick that up when I get my chicken this week.
pedspeech...I don't know about everyone else, but I'd be fine without the match-ups this week. I'm sure you'd enjoy the break too!

Ok, then! I will just pop in as needed to answer questions and whatnot!
I was surprised to not see a great sale on ham- hopefully that will show up next week as it is time for me to restock on that as well.

I'm getting:
Chicken
Cucumbers
Land O Lakes Butter (there were some .55 printables for this awhile ago)
Cake Mix
Bertolli Meal
Wheat thins
Eggs
I'm still in stock up mode, so I'm going to go wild with the butter & cake mix!

i went to kroger today and found 28 ct infinity always pads clearanced to 4.49 each. i bought three using the $3 off coupons in todays paper and to my surprise 3 additional dollars came of for the p&g speacial this week. which made them .49 each.
to make the deal EVEN sweeter, the catalina printed out a $5 off two infinity pads coupons, so it makes it a 3.50 MM. there may be a ecoupon for them, too.. i'm not for sure.
both krogers in my area (russellville, AR) had these available and lots of them, maybe other areas have them as well.

I looked at my Kroger (Greenville, MS) and saw nothing on this. Even carried some to the register for a price check. No such luck--still scanning for $9.99. That's WAY too rich for my blood.
Thanks for the tip, though.
What I DID find were .55/2 peelies on the Pillsbury cookies--you know, the ones you just break apart and bake? I scored a few of those and hope to save them for a sale.
