Oh- keep forgetting. In the Reinventing Beauty magazine (from CVS) there are 1.50 coupons for Softsoap Body Wash and Irish Spring Body Wash. There is a CVS logo on the one edge - but they're MQs and honestly...if you cut as bad as I do, it's quite easy to accidently cut the CVS logo off them LOL

I have a bunch of the RIB inserts but, neither of them are in there - are they part of the mag itself?

There still may be a way to get them pretty cheap with the .50/1 q's - maybe if we can buy them with the deodorants.

Last time, I was an idiot and didn't realize how the toothpaste one worked LOL - fortunately, I still had q's left when I realized it.

Yay on the Kraft Dressing!!!!

...

Thank you!!!When selecting salad dressing from the store shelf, let us all watch those dates.

Never has a grocery item had such a 'difficult' date ... time seems to fly by and then you have to toss it.

Also, salad might be healthly food until you put on some of those nasty salad dressings (hidden calories and fat).

So will the colgate go by shelf price or what?
Can someone explain to me the best way to do it with a limit of 4 like coupons?
I may make a run up there this weekend for the deal if its hot enough.
I put a bunch of my qs up for auction but still have plenty to take advantage of the deal. I just need to know if its worth the drive LOL

It "should" go by shelf price (they have every other time). If it does, the shelf price for the toothpaste is $2.79 I believe - 4 of those would generate a cat - no oop and you don't exceed the 4 q limit. The toothbrushes are $2.59 shelf price so that would also meet the $10 shelf price limit.

The Colgate usually goes by shelf price. The Luminous (sp?) style is $2.79 and the others are $2.19. Buy 3 Luminous and 1 any other that is on sale using your 4 Q's = Free and you get $3.00 OYNO. You cannot get more than one CAT per transaction so you will have to break it up into multiple transactions to get more than one.

If you go to SCO do back to back transactions to use more Q's. Watch your store though - one of my stores has a limit of 3 like Q's and if they see you doing multiple transactions with more than 3 of the same Q's, they may stop you. My SCO beeps on the third like Q too, meaning the cashier will need to come authorize the other like Q's. Also, if you only buy the Colgate and your OOP is $0.00, you will need to 'pay the cashier' from the SCO. Both will definitely draw attention to more than 4 like Q's.

HTH!

hmmm....that does pose a problem....

You could use them to:
-fill any small holes in your walls from nails
-polish jewelry
-polish the kitchen sink
-remove stains from carpets/clothes
-stop the itching on bug bites
-remove scuff marks on leather shoes
-clean the plate of an iron
-clean the bathroom sink and deoderize the drain
-use as an airfreshener in the car
-dry up pimples
(most of these require the white, non-gel paste)

Pittsburgh Area Coupons 4/5 (http://docs.google.com/View?docID=dd6hwpw8_1112cjcp2ggh&revision=_latest)

Ok, here is the updated coupon list! Holy cow - watch your inserts this Sunday if you buy the PPG. My paper guy brought over TWO more comic sections - ONE was missing the big SS, and the other actually had all 3 inserts! So out of 3 'papers' I got 1 and 1/2 big SS's, 3 P&G and 3 small SS's. I would have to have bought the papers and found that!

I did the same thing - finally decided to get 60 of each. I've been planning out how to spend the $3 cats already LOL.

I have .75/1 reynolds non-stick foil q's - the 75 ft box sells for $4.99 - with the $3 cat and the q - I'll get them for .49 ea (I love this foil for bbq time).

I can get 19 bottles of Kraft dressing at a time and pay approximately .04 LOL. I'm also going to check out the Easy-off products, with the .75/1 q for the bbq, cooktop/stainless steel q and a $3 cat - they should be pretty cheap or free if they are at least $4.50 a can

Target has 75 sq. ft. of Reynold's foil on sale for $2.50 with coupon is $1.50 a roll. I picked up five rolls tonight.

Oops! Just noticed you said non-stick. I'm not sure if that is included in the sale or not. I got the regular.

I was just telling my baby sister how jealous I am of other people's foil stockpile LOL I can never seem to find a good deal on it - is 1.50 for 75ft a good stock up price? I have 11 of the 1$/1 coupons for the regular foil...the one that excludes 20 and 25ft rolls.

Any other suggestions?

Did you guys see the 5$ off Ham wyb 20$ in Kraft products in the SNS flier? It doesn't say anything about redeemable only at SNS - think you could double dip by using that to get 5$ off your ham, and then send in your receipts to get the full price back from Unilever??? Although, you'd need a good Kraft sale to get 20$ in Kraft and then a good Unilever sale to get 40$ worth of Unilever LOL

I am telling you!! I am so sick of looking at toothpaste!! If i have a coupon or two I will use them to get it free but I haven't ordered any toothpaste coupons. It is very tempting just to get the free cats, I just don't think I have the patience for it this month. I did order some toothbrush coupons. We have one left :hectic1: and I have to use them to scrub my sons head to get his medication in his scalp ( he has extremely bad psoriasis ). Not really sure where I am going to put those but at least I can cram those in places easier then the toothpaste, or store them in a tote in the basement if need be, plus they don't expire.

Does anyone know what happens to shampoo and conditioner and styling products if it is stored in a basement? It is cold now but not freezing. I only use garnier (and thank god for the great deals) and i have about 30-40 bottles of this stuff and it is just taking over my closet. Everytime I open it something falls out. I was thinking the shampoo and conditioner would be fine but maybe keep the mousse upstairs. Any thoughts?

:cheerleader:Forget just shopping in Pittsburgh, I'm moving to Pittsburgh! :GroceryShopping123:

And to think last night I was debating on buying 20 TP coupons to go along with my 20TB coupons to go along with the 14 I already have. I was worried if I'd be able to use all of those even sharing with my SILs. That and I didn't think I could bear buying anymore toothpaste. :hectic1:

They should be fine in the basement. I give tons of toothpaste/shampoo/toiletries away. We also use a lot. I tend to go through my stockpile frequently (have to to make room for new stuff LOL) so I try to make sure I put that stuff in the back of the new stuff. When it gets too crowded, or I know I am going to pick up a ton of one item, I stop at the food bank.

I think $1.50 is a good deal but I'm no expert. Maybe someone that's been doing this for years can chime in on deals in the past. The regular price at Target was somewhere around $3.49 or $3.79. It probably is more expensive at Giant Eagle. The cost of aluminum fluctates depending on the market. I remember seeing the price go way up in the past and then down. I hated having to buy it because I didn't have a stockpile. Here's a link to aluminum pricing. You can see it looks like the cost is down.

A couple of months back, Walgreens had a special for the smaller pack (20'?), with $1 MQ coupon + their insert coupon, it was free. As I remember, that MQ did NOT have wording on it disallowing the 20' size. Of course, those ones are no longer around (they are quite small!), so I'll need some, too.

I'm a little confused here, hope someone can help. Regarding the colgate toothpaste sale, at our stores the luminous shelf price is $2.79 & the others are shelf price $2.19. It has been stated that if it goes by shelf price you would need to buy (3) at $2.19 & (1) at $2.79 to purchase the necessary $10.00 of product. However, $2.19x 3=$6.57 & $2.79=$9.36 according to my calculations. Is there something I'm missing? Has anyone checked this out yet at a GE? Please clarify!!!Thanks!!!

I think most are buying 4 of the 2.79 luminous toothpaste which comes out to 11.16 shelf.
Or you could do 3 at 2.79 and 1 at 2.19.
Either way you will have to buy the more expensive ones to only use 4 coupons. If not you could do 5 of the 2.19 ones to get you over 10.

As majestynoel pointed out, you need (3) of the $2.79 (Luminous) varieties, and (1) of the $2.19 (cheaper) varieties, to get to $10. I think the idea is that, by getting (3) instead of (4) Luminous varieties, it will help to keep the them on the shelf longer for others. HTH!

When selecting salad dressing from the store shelf, let us all watch those dates.

Never has a grocery item had such a 'difficult' date ... time seems to fly by and then you have to toss it.

+

Also, salad might be healthly food until you put on some of those nasty salad dressings (hidden calories and fat).

+

Terence in Brook Park, oHIo

Actually, you don't have to toss it.
I run our food ministry, and am always calling companies about dates on products that we get from Second Harvest.
The reason they can still give them is because if you look at the wording, it says "best if used by". That is not an expiration date. After that date, the taste quality might not be the same, but they don't go bad unopened.
When you do open them, use them within a couple of weeks.
I still have some from the 'buy 3 kraft get free..." coupons from last year, and I will use them, because they are sealed in my pantry. They'll be fine.

Powerade or Powerade Zero 15/$10 (that is cheap as it is... roughly .66 each)

" I can't believe you shop at Giant Eagle, they are twice as expensive as Walmart" I don't even bother trying to tell them about the deals. My defense is... I live RIGHT NEXT TO GE, walmart is clear across town with lots of traffic lights, which make me waste gas. My experience today with the Colgate deal did NOT go so well.:rolleyes24: I had enough q's on hand to do the deal twice before my others arrive in the mail. Here is my first transaction:

Two bodywashes shelf price $3.99
1 toothbrush shelf price $2.59

Total before advantage card is $10.57, after card is $8.40.

I used two $1.50 softsoap coupons and one .75 toothbrush q which doubled.

My total after q's and tax was $4.38. The Cat did not print.

My second transaction had a few other things in it.

Two toothpastes: shelf price $3.29
Two toothbrushes: shelf price $2.59.

Total before adv is $11.76, after card is $8. My coupons were 4 .75 doubled so $6 off. I paid $2 and got the cat.

I went to CS and asked and they told me it went by the sale price and I didn't spend enough to get the cat.:hectic1: :hectic1: I pointed out that I didn't go over $10 on either transaction so if it went by sale price it shouldn't have printed the other time. They gave me a $3 gc but reluctantly.

Thank you. I ended up making a trip to Giant Eagle and bought it for 1.33 a bag. If you do buy it check the expiration date. It says either April 11 or April 18 which is a short time for pepperoni. I asked someone in that department about freezing it and they said it would be fine. It might be slightly watery but would be good for pizza. They also said something happened at the warehouse and that is why the shelf life is short.

The best way to tell what is going by shelf vs sale price is to look at the receipt:

Does it show

Item Widet.....................3.00
Item Widget (1.99).......1.01-

First line is showing the price it is ringing up as. This amount = what goes towards the deal.

Second line is showing the 'sale' price, and the discount given to get to that sale price = think of it as a store coupon.

Now, if the first line is ringing up at Sale price, and there is no 2nd line showing a discount, then that item is going by Sale price.

Since the cat machines connect remotely to the catalina company - maybe there was a hiccup in the connection? Sometimes it's so much easier to wait a couple days and call Catalina Marketing and have them mail you the coupon than to try and deal with explaining it to CS. The only time I deal with CS is when it's a buy X number of products get a cat. If it's one that has to deal with $$ amount needed, and I know it's going by shelf not sale price - I'll just call or email Catalina :-)

That is awesome! I am glad it worked out for you!

I don't think I could have had any more fun this morning if I tried! All in all I got:

11 Toothpastes, 9 Toothbrushes, 5 Hefty Plates, 3 Halls, 2 Airheads, 2 Breakstones, 2 LOLakes, 8 Kraft Dressings, 6 Jellos, 1/2lb sandwich meat, 2 pks Juicy Fruit and 2 Gold Peak Iced Teas.

Total OOP was $4.31
Total Savings was 96.95
It took 6 transactions, but was totally worth it! I have 1 $3 Cat left and some Q's on their way for more :D

probably neither LOL.

I don't want to point out to either that it's working on shelf price (or not as in this case). I'm always afraid that they'll go in and "correct" it.

I figured since my total was zero for the toothpaste, I didn't lose anything.

Asked this in the cat thread but, I'm wondering if I bought 2 luminous and 2 toothbrushes and a salad dressing/sour cream to make sure my total wasn't zero, if the q's will beep because I'm using 4 from the same company? I'd much prefer to use the SCO but I hate having the cashier come over each time.

They won't beep - I did that same deal this morning - no problem with the Cat either. I did the same though -Added a filler to put me above $0 so no assistance was needed but I did it with the Jello Q....oops, who would have known it would beep?? No problem with the attendent though - she put it right through (didn't even look to see if I bought what was on the Q!).

Strange is that I went to the Hoffman Blvd GE first this morning, bought 1 Luminous, 1 reg, and 2 TB's. Total was $10.16, but no Cat. I figured the same that since it was free, no real loss, but still, the Cat promo seems a little tricky - can't figure it out... I switched to the Waterfront because they really don't seem to care what you do down there so I decided to try the 2 Lum's and 2 TB's, which obviously worked. Very strange this time around....

That's all they have room for on the shelf at my store too.
I didn't notice any other shoppers working on this deal - but boy were people buying Cool Whip and Land O'Lakes butter! Lady in front of me had 8 canisters of Cool Whip. The butter shelf was almost cleaned out and this was at 9:30 in the morning! I already have room set aside in my freezer for all my pounds - we really go through butter (must be Paula Deen's lost cousins or something), and 90 cents/$1 after c/o is pretty good plus gives me something to keep my orders from being zero.

Funny story tonight - I decided to do some window shopping for some projects we have going around here and when I called home to see what everyone wanted for dinner, DH and I agreed on breakfast for dinner, but I was out of eggs. Our convo went like this:

Him: 'Aren't you right next to Foodland?"
Me: (annoyed) "Foodland's eggs are not on the same sale!"
Him: "So???"
Me: "Honey...I can get GE's eggs for $1 and wrap them into one of my Cat Deals so I would only pay a dollar for like 9 things and still get money back to buy more!"
Him: (really annoyed) "You can't just spring for it just this once??"
Me: (completely annoyed) "NO! Why should I when I can get it cheaper?!?!?!?!!?"

So DH officially thinks I'm metally off balance because I refused to just buy eggs. I spent $1.15 and got 3 Mennens, 1 TB, 2 Krafts, 1 doz eggs, 1 LOLakes, and 1 Airheads.... hee hee....

Just got back from my GE run with colgate Qs.

Did 8 transactions back to back. I am the only one with the cashier. After my 6th transaction another customer came behind me.

Store has tons of colgate even Luminous ones. I got all the below items for $22. And I am left with 1 $3 CAT.

I used 5 $2 CATS, 2 $5 CATS, 7 $3 CATS and 1 $1 CAT
$5 and $2 are from previous smartsource and frozen deals
$3 and $1 are from these transaction I did (colgate and yocrunch)

32 colgate luminous
1 Chicken Drum sticks
1 Chiken leg quarts
2 ground turkey
1 gallon milk
2 organic milk
1 buttermilk
2 yocrunch yogurt
1 sprite
2 skinny cow icecreams
1 weight wachers icecream
1 Edys icecream
Nutella Hazelnut spread
5 Dole Pineapple canned fruit (they are 10/$10)

GOOD NEWS: You can use more than one $3 colgate CAT in one transaction

2 SpeedStick Lady 24/7 - 2.99 shelf price
1 Toothbrush
1 Toothpaste (luminous and cinnamon both worked tonite in all my transactions)
Total OOP 1$ get 3$ oyno

1 SoftSoap Body Wash - 3.69 shelf price - Apple (green), Pomegranate, and Grapefruit all worked in my transactions
2 Toothbrushes
1 Toothpaste
Total OOP 1.50 get 3$ oyno

1 SoftSoap Body Wash 3.69 shelf price
3 Toothbrushes
Total OOP 1.50 get 3$ oyno

Can you tell I'm out of toothpaste coupons until the ones I ordered come? LOL

I got 20$ on a gift card and then did something like 6 transactions.

I have to return the 4 Air Wick sprays I bought - I'm not paying 1$ for something I hate LOL I was going to give them away, but figured no, I'd rather give away free stuff haha Hopefully they won't give me grief about returning those Air Wicks.

So out of the 6 cats I got I still have 4 of them left :-) I got some food coloring and pepperoni... I have to get a couple post-sale coupons tomorrow if they do them. I totally forgot to scan 2 coupons for Xtra Care gum - and I'm not about to pay 1.49 for gum when I've been getting every kind imaginable for free lately! So CS is gonna hate me tomorrow!

See my above post for the stuff that worked for me. I would stay away from the 3.99 Body Washes (coconut/apricot) because they seem to not be working. Figure with 3.69 shelf price on those. The Lady Speed stick 24/7 is 2.99 shelf price. So you could do 1 Soft Soap (3.69), 2 speedstick (2.99x2=5.98) and a toothpaste or toothbrush and it would. No need to worry if it's luminous or one of the other kinds since you're already at 9.67 with the body wash and deo.

Wasnt me at Penn Township :) I just went to the Hempfield one this afternoon and then again tonite. They're out of the 99c Softsoap though. I gave a bunch of it to my mom last time, so I really need more! (like 20 bottles isnt enough.....hehe)

Oh - thought of another think that worked. Since my coupons were limited, I did one with 1 soft soap body wash, 1 sponge bob hand soap (ss brand - 8.5oz - used the 50c/1 mq from last Sunday) and 2 toothbrushes. Total was 3.27, used a 3$ cat from previous deal and only pad 27 cents with tax.

The spongebob soap was 2.19. So after rolling the cat it was 19 cents for bodywash and hand soap! I'm definitely doing this again after my coupons come in the mail!

My store doesn't even seem to be bothering to restock the 99c Soft Soap. There were 8 on the shelf yesterday - bought 3 yesterday, bought the other 5 this morning. I only have a few more of the 7.5 oz SS coupons so I'll live but it's unusual coz this store is usually pretty thorough on restocking when they have it in the back....

Question about the Softsoap Body Wash - is this stuff any good? We normally use Olay or Dove, the more moisturizing or the sensitive skin varieties. I've only tried the SPA kind and that was like bathing with Softsoap hand soap. I'm focusing this time around on this deal on stuff we use, because I've already taken two van loads of stuff down to the mission in the past 6 weeks and I need a break. Just wondering if any of y'all had tried it and if it was ok because I don't want to get it unless we can use it....

Normally, I'm pretty good at math but I'm having a senior moment. Is it better to use 7 of the 75/2 Powerade coupons at a time if I have a lot of them or use6 or 8 per group of 15?

Here's what I calculated
If you use (6) 75¢ coupons on 15 Powerades it is 15.00-9.00 (q's doubled)-5.00 (instant savings)= 1.00 OOP

If you use (8) 75¢ coupons on 16 Poweraders it is 16.00-12.00 (q's doubled)-5.00 (instant savings) = -1.00 (you need a filler of at least $!)

If you use (7) 75¢ coupons on 15 Powerades it is 15.00- 10.50 (q's doubled)-5.00 instant savings= -50¢ (you need a filler of at least 50¢)

I hope this helps. I plan to use 7 each time. DH is very happy to be getting PowerAde since lawn mowing season is here.

If you buy just 15 it will be $10 and 7Q's would be $10.50 possibly giving a $.50 overage.
If you buy 16 it would be $11.00 and 8Q's would be $12.00 possibly giving $1.00 overage.

I think you will get the overage because the general sale price is $1.00 each ($2/2) and the Q value dbld is $1.50, but the 5 free are calculated at $1.00 each on the receipt and come off at the end meaning the Q value should be based on the $15/15 or $16/16 not the $10/15 or $11/16 price.

So if that is true the 8Q's on 16 will give you a better overage.

Did that make sense?? LOL!

Start looking for the powerade tearpads. I found mine at 3 different Wags and at Marc's drugstore...

Powerade or Powerade Zero 15/$10 (that is cheap as it is... roughly .66 each)

Tearpads are for .75/2. Doubled = FREE powerade. I have 20 of these so Im stocking up! I have 2 kids in sports so this is great.

where in Wag are they located???

I did two different orders that both generated a cat:
2 TP @ 2.79 + 2 TB @ 2.59
and
3 TP @ 2.79 + 1 TB @ 2.59

I don't really plan on doing any of the soaps. I am SO excited though b/c all in all I got (in 3 orders)

1st Order
2 toothpaste
2 toothbrush
1 sour cream (1.25 - .55Q doubled) = .15

Total OOP = .15 cents + a $3OYNO

2nd Order
3 toothpaste
1 toothbrush
1 Eggo waffle ($2 - $1Q)
2 salad dressing (kraft) 3/$5 - 1.50Q*2
3 pepperoni bags (buy one get 2 free)

Total OOP = 3.33 + $3OYNO

3rd Order:
3 Airheads ($1 - .55Q doubled = free)
2 Hagan Ice Cream (3/$10 - $1/2Q)
2 Broccoli (fresh) (.99 each)
1 Dr Pepper (free with home mailer Q)

Total OOP = 3.74

So, all that for $7.22

I am out of toothbrush Qs (except for children's) and I only have the Luminous Toothpaste Qs (which are 2/$5), so I think I am done. Haven't gotten into the buying / trading yet...all in due time...
I was at the SCO and no problems with coupons beeping b/c of multiples even with 2 TP and 2 TB (somebody had asked previously). I did have a dollar that wouldn't get accepted to the machine and waited until the end to use my free soda Q to not draw attention to myself. When I bought the 3 Airheads, the machine beeped at my 3rd Q - not sure why. Luckily, the woman helping with the SCO was super nice (yeah, the same woman who didn't want me to get multiple cats w/ the smart ones - must have woken up on the right side of the bed!!! lol) and I thanked her when I left.

Ok I am going to try this again.. I posted it but not sure what happened...

Any who I just got back from doing the powerade and kelloggs deals.
A warning on the powerade, the green sour melon ones are NOT linked to the promotion. They are the only ones that didn't ring up AC after them but are still 1.00 since that is the reg. price. I had them void those off and add 3 more orange ones and then the instant savings came off.

I also grabbed the wrong box of Kelloggs cereal. It was part of the promotion but not on sale. It was 2.75. I am not going to take it back over .75 b/c I still got the cat. I was in a hurry to get my daughter from school I just grabbed whatever caught my eye and had the free camera promo on it for my daughter.

First of all, good for you! It feels good to get so much for so little money spent.

The reason the SCO beeped was because it is programmed to beep when the 3rd identical q is scanned. Your 3rd q set it off, even though you were using it correctly. You can remember this for future trips. If you don't want to draw the attention of a customer service person or have to wait for them to see your flashing light, split up your identical q's in separate orders.

I did the deal twice tonight. Both times I got two wave TB's and two Luminous TP's which made them free plus the $3 cat. I also picked up the LOL butter, 7 packages of cereal for $10 plus got my 3 free milk cats, and some other odds and ends I needed. DH needed 3 packages of basil which was like $8.xx. I was positively thrilled. I was going to use the SCO but knew I would have to have someone come over since I had 7 kellogg's q's. I *might* try it tomorrow. My store doesn't carry them anymore but I was at a store 20 min away and they had some. I just got my softsoap coupons today AFTER I went out there. My store only has the 1.99 and up ones and I hate to see all these coupons go to waste. The .99 ones also don't say antibacterial so my fiance wont use them. I may buy them anyway and see if he notices. I will post if I drive out there.

So, I'm thinking: Take the cheap soap and refill the "antibacterial" bottle with it. He'll never know. (Been happily married almost 14 years. . . I have learned sometimes it is best to work around the mountain instead of climbing it!)

HAHA that is what my mom said to do. I said if worse comes to worse..what happens if I squirt hand sanitizer in it? viola.. antibacterial soap!! Since that soap is kinda thicker I thought maybe pealing a label off another one and trying to get it to stick would be easier. Who knows, I just carried my box of them in, so yes i drove out there to get them. I let the deal get the best of me. I got there and they only had 4 on the shelf and I thought you have GOT TO BE kidding me. So i asked a lady that was unpacking stuff over there if she had more. She said the shipment just came in and it would probably take atleast an hour to find them, so could I come back later. I said I live in Ashtabula so I will just walk around. I went and got some food to eat for me and my son in the hot foods area, and here she comes smiling with the box.. she was happy it was the very first thing she opened. Only 12 came in the box so I have 4 coupons left over..better than 20!! So i got them. I MIGHT buy some of the expensive ones at my store, or atleast one that is antibacterial just in case he notices. :giggle2: Good thing he doesn't get on the computer..i would be busted.

Haha..i just thought of another one. When the kraft cheese was on sale and the 2% ones were printing cats I tried it with the singles and it didn't work. Hmm, I thought I bought one last night - but now that I look at it, it's the smaller size spongebob. Looking through my bags tonight I got one - but it might be from one of them were leaking so the other cashier ran back to get one to replace it. I told her it was the smaller spongebob soap - but she must have grabbed the big one...

This deal is definitely more confusing this time than ever before.

So far it looks like the Apricot Scrub 3.99 SS body wash, and the bigger 8.5oz soaps, and I think some people were having issues with a couple toothpaste flavors.

Both the Cinnamon and the Mint Zing 1.50 toothpaste worked for me though. So I stuck with those 2 favors tonight.

:wavehi: Haven't done my GE run yet this week. Where did you find the pepperoni?
TIA!

Yep - they were in a display by the deli. Actually, it was between the deli and the butcher area. There weren't a ton left - and watch the dates on them. The newer dates were towards the bottom. Good luck!
We use them a lot to make pizzas out of tortillas (the ones that you would use to make a sandwich wrap out of). Just put some sauce/cheese/pepperoni/whatever and cook them at 425 - oh yum! And they cook so quickly for the family after work.
Good luck!

While I am at it, I heard that the Altoona GE is going to be putting the gas bonus from .20/$50 spent to .10/$50 spent (like Martin's). Same is true for the gift cards. I didn't see a sign while I was in there but a friend told me about it. If you find out for sure, could you let me know?

-EDIT-Sorry Willow, didn't see your response. I guess great minds think alike!! :wink7:

New Tearpad Kraft Q's found - There were Q's before that had $1 off Digiorno, Kraft Parm Cheese, and something else (can't remember) expiring 4/30. Found an updated set yesterday @ CIII GE. Includes $1.00/1 Kraft Parm Cheese, $1.00/1 Good Seasons 4 or 5 pk, and $1.00/2 Any Birdseye Veggies (exludes Steamfresh)

EDIT: -lol!- just remembered what the other Q was in the old tearpad... $1.00 off any 2 Kraft dressings...no wonder I forgot!

I found a tearpad near the cookies. Save $1.50 when you buy any 1 package of Nabisco Oreo Cookies OR Fun Stix Or Cakesters (5 0z. or larger) and 1 Gallon of Milk.

There is a coupon in tomorrow's Smart Source for $1.00 off the Fun Stix. I don't know the price of these.

I think you can use both coupons when you get milk and the Fun Stix. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I just did my breakdown of this week's buys and man am I happy!!

3 different stores

166 items
Total Shelf Value = $380.93
OOP $17.95 with 1 $3.00 Cat still and a couple more Q's (maybe one or two more deals left for rolling)
~ $.11 per item

All in all: 31 Toothpastes, 19 Kraft Dressings, 19 Toothbrushes, 19 Jello's, 11 Halls, 8 Speedsticks, 6 No Yolk Noodles (no sale, but had $.75/1 Q's making them $.50/bag), 6 Stove Top (had B2G1 Tearpad Q's), 5 Hefty tray plates, 4 Eggo Waffles, 4 Yellow Mustards, 3 LOLakes, 3 KoolAids, 3 Cool Whips, 3 Dole Pineapples, 3 Gold Peak Teas, 3 Airheads, 2 Dijon Mustards (No sale, but DH begged....ugh...), 2 YoCrunches, 2 Philadelphia Cream Cheeses, 2 Sourcreams, 2 Spicy Brown Mustards, 2 Juicy Fruits, 1 Bag Tostitos (DH again...), 1 Doz. Eggs, and 1/2lb Sandwich Meats.

I am so happy about most of this because as I may have mentioned, I have my baby's 1st birthday this year, my twins' birthday party in another 2 months, and a couple get togethers that I bring dishes to. I have a great start on stocking up on what I'm planning for them.

The Foodbank loves getting H&B items since most people don't realized they take them and only send food, so that toothpaste/brushes and deoderant will go to a good home.

In case I haven't said it lately - THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO POSTS HERE!!! I really only started Qing in November and you all have helped tremendously in teaching me the ropes and how it all works. THANK YOU!!!!

I would think that if the coupon says $1.50 off cookies AND milk, then you shouldn't use any other cookie and/or milk qs with them.

2 more transactions today.

8 SoftSoap 99c Handsoap - 35c mqs

5 LOL Butters - 55c mqs (THANKYOU PB!)
2 PPG papers

Hopefully the rest of my toothpaste coupons will come in tomorrow's mail. Either that or I'm crossing my fingers my store gets more toothbrushes! I think I have 18 more TB coupons.

Kid's Toothbrushes DO work - they're just not on sale. That was the one no one tried yet, right? LOL

Here's how I got them free:

2 Kids Toothbrushes (we got Dora) @ 2.69 each
2 Softsoap handsoaps @ 99c each
1 Luminous Toothpaste @ 1.50
-two 75c kids toothbrush mqs
-two 35c handsoap mqs
-one 75c toothpaste mq
Shelf price would have been 10.15
Total AC = 2.96
so you need a small filler or some groceries to roll the 3$ cat.

Now if my toothpaste coupons would just get here! And my store needs to restock the 99c handsoaps. I took the last 9 of them today for my mom and sister.

Another one I might do since my DH wants more Pomegranate body wash (hehe)
1 Body Wash @ 3.50 - 75c mq
1 Kid's Toothbrush @ 2.69 - 75c mq
2 Toothpaste @ 1.50 - two 75c mqs
3.19 OOP get 3$ oyno, or 19 cents OOP after rolling previous cat

For some free eggs, there is a winetag on Gnarly Head wine. There is one for $5 off ham MIR and one that has $1 off eggs, $1 off OJ, and $2 Ham. Both were no wine purchase necessary. Could you combine the egg q with the big red q and get free eggs and free pop?

The customer service employee should have wrote on your RC the CAT info. You need to cut out the ad showing this and staple it to your RC. The CS rep at my GE will write the CAT info on it and then that amount is taken off the actually price of the item(s) I am buying with my RC when the promo is over. There is no way to force the CAT to come out after the sale so this is a valid work-around.

Argh! lol Yeah, that mall GE isn't the best when it comes to cat deals. I tend to only go there if they have a sale on something that I can't find at my store or the N.Huntington store. Rarely do I ever do oyno's there.

That's cool that you did ok at the Latrobe one - that's one I just don't shop at because of the management :-)

Isn't Latrobe a corporate owned store? I forget what happened but at one time it was owned/ran by the same person as the Ligonier store, then something happened and that person was just doing the Ligonier store but I forget what the "something" was.

I'm the Easter desert maker in our family and it's tradition for us to have cheesecake for desert on Easter. Here's what I'm using my crescent rolls for (and my frozen cream cheese, butter...)

Texas Cheesecake

2 pkg. crescent rolls
2 8oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 t. vanilla
Cinnamon Topping
1/2 c. sugar
1 t. cinnamon
1 stick butter, melted

Lay 1 pkg. of crescent rolls on bottom of greased 13x9 pan. Mix cheese, sugar and vanilla with mixer, pour on crescent rolls

Lay 2nd pkg. of crescent rolls, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, drizzle with melted butter. Bake @ 350 for 30 mins.

Haha..i just thought of another one. When the kraft cheese was on sale and the 2% ones were printing cats I tried it with the singles and it didn't work. I wasn't going to return cheese, plus we needed it so I just took it all out of the package mixed it with the other cheese that wasn't 2%. He hasn't said one word about it. Now if I left it in the wrapper he would have been throwing a fit.. i tell ya.. if they only knew.......

:wavehi: me too with the switcharoo! Anyway...in all seriousness ALL soap is antibacterial without having to add anything 'extra' in it, and when you use nothing but 'antibacterial' soap (with the extra stuff) it can actually be a bad thing for your health and those around you! Ever heard of 'superbugs'?

I think they were having major hiccups tonight because I didn't get 2 of mine. One was 10.53ish and the other was over 11$. Out of 8 transactions, one I messed up on and was 14 cents short (oops), 2 didn't trigger the cat, and 5 worked fine.

Do you have to wait 24 - 48 hours to contact Catalina Mkt? I can't remember if there's a waiting period until they can see the transaction or not. I'm definitely calling about the last 2 because I know I was over 10$ and bought the same stuff I had bought in earlier transactions and got the cat.

I never want to shop again between this deal and all my Crazy CVS Clearance shopping I am beat!

Just now at 10:50 I had 9 orders consisting of 11 body washes, 11 deodorants, 10 tooth brushes, 1 toothpaste and a cup of gum-OP less than $6 and I have $9 in cats. I think I started with 1 $3 and 4 $1 so I am happy. I may stop in and do 1 more deal tommorow only if they get in the .99 hand soap.

I am sure there is a waiting period. but not sure if it is 24 or 42 hrs.
I just did 11 transactions today and I had no issues with cat printing.

So my DH went to do the powerade deal last night and one of the colgate deals. For some reason, the last two powerade q's did not go through. Are we SOL for getting that $3 back?

The coupon not redeemed....
Also, I went to a store today and they missed putting one of my $1.50 q's through. Any chance that I can recover that?

Several weeks ago I had a cashier that didn't take off my coupons. I got distracted and didnt notice it in the store because I was buying other full price items. I went back the next day with a written list of which coupons I gave the clerk and was given a refund without a blink or a single argument. It was a lot too - almost $12.00.

I wanted to point out something since you mentioned it.

I have been having a problem with the powerade coupon - Make sure that you are getting the full value.

The powerades are $1.00
The coupon is .75/2
The last several times I have done the deal, the register has been taking off .75 and .25.

I "think" the problem starts when the cashier rings up one and multiplies it 15 times. I don't think it happens when they are scanned individually. I have not been able to test that theory because since then, I can not find enough in any one store to do the deal again.

OMG and the argument I got from customer service to resolve it was just insane. Twenty minutes to make them see.

They kept insisting the register was right because I was getting something for free and they were not going to give me more than free.

I kept repeating my point over and over, "no, the coupon is off two - If I got full redemption of $1.50, I still would be paying .25 cents each - I am not getting anything for free"

It got resolved - but, it took a long long time and many people to get heard.

Thank you for your post! I am going to mention it to my favorite CS person and see what she says. Between the two transactions they forgot to scan 3 coupons for a total of $4.50. I wouldn't care as much if I had the coupons still but they kept them and I didn't realize there was a problem.

I was going over my receipts from tonight and my Powerade coups went through fine, but the Kelloggs ones didn't double-at all. And I bought 6 using that particular coupon. I expected that they would stop doubling and such after the 4 coupon limit, and that's okay, it's their policy and I would've followed it exactly if I could've, but I needed 7 Kelloggs to print my cat for 3 free milks, so I took the risk. But I can't think of any reason that they wouldn't double ANY of the Kelloggs coupons-Meijers did last week and they have the same policy.

Then my Colgate cats didn't print on two of my Colgate transactions, but did on another Colgate transaction that was IDENTICAL, so I know that was just the cat machines. Then I had one of my $2 Pillsbury cats not print, too, so all total, I think it's about $10.80 that they owe me (more if they would double all 6 of those coupons, but I'm not asking for that), and will be going back to CS in the morning. Overall I had a good trip, though, 4 transactions and I spent $37 on what totaled up to be $151 worth of groceries and hba products, so I was happy. Oh, and I walked away with 1 milk cat and a $2 oyno, and of course the $10.80 in gift card that I'll get tomorrow. (The cashier even wrote on my receipt that they didn't print, so no arguments from CS I don't think.)

All in all, even when a cat doesn't print or whatever, I've always had great luck with GE's customer service. They usually don't even blink if you bring a legitimate claim to them about a cat not printing, coupons not coming off right, etc., so I'm thankful that they have trained their CS people well in this area.

I was at the Parkway Center Mall GE, and the GE pepperoni that's 3 for $3.99? Most the packs had $1 off coupons stuck to them! So ended up 3 for $0.99. Going right into my freezer...

Uncle Ben's Rices are on EPR 10/$10. There are $1/3 MFQ's out there making them 3/$2 (aobut $.67 each) Not bad considering the OP is $1.85/box. I think the tag said EPR until 4/15/09. HTH!

Pthappy6started it (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/giant-eagle-catalina-deals/170457-dole-75-oyno-catalina-2.html)

She bought 4 cans of the Dole Mandarin oranges that are on sale through today and got $1.00 cat

Yesterday I bought 6 Mandarin oranges and 4 of the tropical fruit and got a $1.00 cat and a .75 cat.

Now it gets even weirder - today I bought 6 cans Dole Tropical fruiit
$1.00 each use three .55/2 coupons= $2.70
Got back TWO $1.00 cats that say thanks for buying Dole Tropical Fruit

=.70 for 6 cans of Dole tropical fruit.

Interesting. I've bought them in twos, and in fours, and I think 6 or 8 at a time and the biggest cat I got for the Mandarin Oranges was $.75
